All this plus their new policy of not allowing us to select our seats because we bought the cheapest tickets. Really Delta? You go ahead and cater to the rich and I’ll choose to fly with another airline."

Cons: "I could see on the Fly Delta app that I had been placed in seat 10B, but neither the app nor my boarding pass gave me a group to board with, so I assumed that I needed to board with group 3, which necessitated gate-checking my rollerboard bag. Only when I approached the gate to board did I notice on the info screen that I had been "upgraded" to Comfort + and granted boarding with the Sky Priority group. I wish this had been clearer so I could have avoided waiting to board and gate-checking my bag. Minor inconvenience but room for improvement on Delta's part."

The cabin personnel were wonderful as per usual, and my tasty gin and tonic soothed any discontent. I wish I could fly this way all the time!"
Cons: "The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor."

So, they put on the next flight... 6 hours later. Said I could fly without the bag... uh, no thanks. They would not look for alternatives without charging me more. Flight attendants were crabby, otherwise everything was fine. I flew British Airways a few months ago. Night and day. Seriously. Delta does not even approach having good service. There was no comparison to British Air--- Delta is not in the same league."

Cons: "We booked with Delta, but were put on Air France. Even though we had our boarding passes in hand we had to wait in long, slow line for baggage tags because they would not print from kiosk. There was minimal Air France staff on duty serving thousands of passengers during busy season (July). While the lines grew larger, the staff was reduced from 4 to 2. Another long, slow line for customs, another long slow line for security=Charles De Gaulle airport was awful. We arrived at the airport 4 hours before our departure time and got to our boarding gate with no time to spare."

The flight attendants were nice but I was in a seat near the engine and it was making really weird noises. I fly almost every two weeks, so I'm used to engine noises but this was one of the loudest/most rickety sounding flights I have ever been on.. and I have flown Spirit a few times. It just didn't feel safe. Landing scared me a little too as I have landed in O'Hare countless times and have never flown so low to the highway upon entry. It felt like we were only a couple hundred feet above the cars."

When I finally went to the designated gate the Hnited representative told me this miscommunication happens all the time between Copa and United and there is nothing she can do. This is bad business and the customers have to suffer the consequences. I won't use this flight route again."

We didn't appreciate the fact that the airline didn't let us know in advance that we couldn't buy drinks at the airport. That was a waste of money. The food wasn't good at all though. The coffee was terrible and so were the eggs, but at least we got something."
Pros: "Copa allows two bags of 50 pounds to be checked along with carry-ons. They provide a full meal on each flight (at least that we've been on). The crew is accommodating, even providing more than one drink. The chairs are fairly comfortable."

Customs was extremely fast and efficient and everyone was friendly and did their jobs well. As far as the Panama airlines go, the food was okay, nothing special but not disgusting, and not all the flight attendants were unpleasant."
Cons: "The worst thing that happened was mean spirited security guards at the airport did a security check before allowing us to get to our gate. They forced us to dispose of a bottle of water that we had bought at that very airport. We were then quarantined into a waiting area with no seating and no access to other water, bathroom or food. Then on the plan we were offered beverages twice, so I was only able to get about six swallows of water from Panama to Chicago. Dehydration makes a plane ride a lot less healthy and comfortable. The staff was mostly unpleasant, the seats were really small and uncomfortable (more so than any other airplanes I've been aboard), and for some reasons they kept turning the main lights on and off, allowing us to sleep and then waking us all up for no good reason. Unbelievable."

I asked them to give me a document or anything as proof that I was denied on flight because my credit card company requested it, but they rudely refused."

I know that this is something that happens often for all sorts of reasons, however I can’t help but think it had something to do with the transition of my luggage from one flight to the next. My flights home are similar ( One leg of it being operated by another airline) and needless to say I’m a bit nervous about that."

They also took beverages bought at the gift shops, right before getting on the plane which was unusual. Overall ground crew was not very customer service oriented. In flight crew was better."

Cons: "Original schedule pulled in one day due to Hurricane Irma cancellation/rebook from MIA to SCL. LAN wanted $280US to change ticket. I paid $160US for ticket originally. No sympathy from LAN for hurricane impacted travelors. Extremely poor customer relations!!"

Pros: "Flying on a Boing 787 is wonderful. The overall service from Latam is top quality; the crew was welcoming and very attentive. Food could be improved, specially offering vegetarian alternative for all of the food services. The movie selection could be improved (in variety and vintage). Music selection was very good for my taste."
Cons: "I was unable to choose my seats on line in advance, which created a stressful situation when at check-in we found that my wife and I were not seated together. Fortunately for the first leg of the trip (Santiago-Lima) there was an empty seat by her and I took it; and for the second leg (Lima-Los Angeles) the passenger next to her was upgraded on the last minute and left his seat for me. Latam has great service, but must let customers choose their seats or guarantee assigning adjacent seats to passengers traveling together, The process for servicing of the plane during the stop-over in Lima could be improved. I know it is hard to do minor cleaning, tidy-up, and replacement of pillows & blankets while many passengers remain on board, but at least there should be an announcement describing what the passengers are to expect during the stop-over."

Cons: "My entertainment center didn't have audio for one of the movies so I had to use closed caption to read what the characters were saying. I had some issues trying to get the movie to play because the screen froze for a moment."

Cons: "We arrived to the airport over two hours before our departure time. We waited in line for over an hour to check our bags and get our boarding passes. When we checked our bags, we were told to hurry as our flight was boarding. We rushed through the airport to get in line to board the plane. When we got to the line to board the plane, we waited another hour before we were told to get on a bus to take us to our plane. Our plan left 45 minutes later than expected, but the airport never communicated any details about a delay. We rushed to wait in line instead of having time to get things at the airport or sit."

Cons: "I buy a flight ahead of time so I can be back home on time to work, I get it delays can happen, there was already a delay to start off well, turns out the flight is OVERBOOKED & even tho I arrived 3 hours earlier prior my flight I had to wait 9+ hours for another flight. If you don’t have enough seating available don’t sell a ticket that you know doesn’t exist. It’s not the first time it happens with Aeromexico, their airline is HORRIBLE & I didn’t expect with my first experience with Kayak to be just as bad. Never buying a flight through this website ever again nor am I planning to fly with Aeromexico."

Cons: "I didn't appreciate that my flight time changed and I wasn't notified until well after the fact. Aeromexico at Benito Juarez didn't seem to know what was happening either. I didn't know which gate was flight was leaving from until after boarding the scheduled boarding time. When family in the States tried to get updates about the delays, the customer service rep gave incorrect information. I'm not sure that I'll be flying Aeromexico again."

Cons: "After being in the airport for over four hours waiting for the flight to depart, I was not allowed to board the plane because the airline had somehow given my seat to another passenger, even though I was sitting right in front of them. I have never experienced such a ridiculous situation. What is worse, the airline was completely obsolete in helping me resolve the issue."

Cons: "On June 29 Aeromexico Flight 2683 arrived in Mexico City airspace and the Captain informed the passengers that the plane would have to refuel in Alcapulco due to inclement weather in Mexico City. The website https://www.timeanddate.com/weather/mexico/mexico-city/historic reports NO inclement weather on that date or at the time that AM 2683 was to land. I observed partly cloudy skies from my window seat as well. The ground crew in Alcapulco was unprepared for AM2683 and the fueling was delayed. After doing so, AM 2683 landed AFTER my connecting flight AM 684 was scheduled to depart at 1:05 AM on June 30. A female connection agent met me at the baggage claim and informed me that that AM 684 had not been held and had departed. The female agent was unhelpful, dismissive and rude. In fact, she had taken a personal cell phone call at the connections desk prior to assisting passengers of AM 2683 which lasted many minutes. She escorted us to the Aeromexico counter where I waited 30 or more minutes to speak to a representative. The representative at the Aeromexico counter informed me that there were NO flights to Quito until 1:05 AM on July 1. I asked if she could book me on another airline and she informed me that because the delay was weather related Aeromexico had no obligation to accomodate me. She booked me on AM684 for July 1. I asked where I was to wait for the next 24 hours and she said Aeromexico had no obligation to pay for lodgings. She gave me food vouchers for the airport. I immediately logged onto Travelocity.com and found a Copa Airlines flight to Quito leaving that afternoon which was in fact OPERATED BY AEROMEXICO! I booked that ticket myself and waited in the Mexico City Airport for 14 hours. What would have taken 10 hours took me 22."
