The experience with United Airlines was excellent; however, the experience with Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) was horrible. Although our flight departed from Terminal B, we had to go through security in Terminal C and then get on a train for travel to Terminal B. Additionally, there was significant walking required to get to the boarding location.
Unbelievably smooth boarding at IAH and the flight attendants were top notch.
We flew business fares. Was amazing. However, the check in didn't offer business fares preboarding which is less hectic. 8/10 due to this. Staff compared to Canadian carriers go above and beyond. Would gladly fly United again.
Comfortable seating POS to IAH. Food options were satisfactory. Good seat from IAH to ANC. Food options could be better.
Always pretty good as far as I see it. Staff was friendly and process was quick to get on and off.
There could have been better food options in economy on the long 7hr trip from IAH to AM.
It was terribly delayed with zero support from united airlines. I reached at 1 am in the night. They did not provide any option to change the flights.
Awful. Delayed flights, missed connection to Toronto. Hotel vouchers were for already booked hotels x3. Giant waste of my time
For the expense of first class, the seats could have been nicer and higher tier snacks would have been nice.
They delayed the flight 3 hours because it wasn't full they moved us to 5 different gates probably the worst airline ever not even spirit is this bad.
Flight went very well. Cabin crew were all courteous and very helpful, always with smiles on their faces. Food was great. I always love heated nuts with wine. Flying business class with Philippine Airlines is always a pleasant experience.
Great food selection in lounge. Excellent bartender, friendly staff. Good service on the plane.

It was never explained why the departure flight was canceled and delayed for 1.5 hours. It would have been nice to stick with the original itinerary.
Many movies do not have captions, which would have been helpful when you have to live with the flight engine noise.

The flight was fantastic and the crew was absolutely excellent, but the entertainment system on the B777 was not working. That's a long time to spend with no electronics. The crew offered I-Pads but I had brought my own. I am only pointing this out because this is the second flight on Philippines Air where the entertainment system was down. FJM
The checking in agent tried to give me a different seat. She tried to give me an economy seat even though I had already checked in with a seat assigned and paid an extra $300 for those seats. She also separated our seating assignment. Very unprofessional and seriously a bad example for an agent. She was rude when I showed her my receipts and she made us wait more than 15 minutes before we were able to get the right boarding passes and correct seats (seats that we paid for in advance)!!!
Terrible check in and food was like from fast food
Worst communication. Delayed boarding for two hours without a single announcement until hour 1 had passed - on time status showing until our flight was supposed to takeoff and the crew had already walked away. No one was boarding. Disgusting part of DFW overcrowded with no AC on a 97 degree day. Then the first app update is that we’d take off in 15 mins… but again no one had boarded a full flight. No announcement in the terminal so everyone is just crowded around a disgusting place with no info for over an hour which turned into two. This was an overfill flight and a disgrace to passenger decency all while likely just trying to fix their own issue of overbooking. The worst airline at the worst airport.
The flight was delayed almost three hours. I understand delays happen from time to time, but this flight was delayed no less than 10 times. I wish the amount of time of the delay was more accurate, versus delaying in 10 or 20 minute increments many, many times.
The flight was ok, i understand Houston-Dallas is a short distance. The plane is really small: no TV, no snacks, but other than that, all was good. We had a bid delay but luckily it did not affect my connection
boarding announcements werent clear/loud. Tired of those cookies. Of the 3 staff/attendants, 1 was good and the other 2 were mediocre.
It was good overall but when I book my flight and seat through Kayak, AA will at times change those seats during check-in time which I don’t understand why. I always book aisle seats and had to sit at window for my flight to Austin this trip.

This flight was of course delayed because American cannot have flights that are not delayed.
I sat at the airport all night from 8 pm until midnight. The airline kept delaying the flight. They also kept moving us to different gates - 4 times. Then they told us we didn’t have a pilot so we had to wait. Then they cancelled the flight at midnight! I ended up having to rent a car to drive home. So i ended up not even being able to fly on the flight i paid for. Ridiculous, and no agents could help at all. I will not ever book this flight.
Mechanical delay > Crew Time out. No communication to passengers. Crew time out was positioned as a surprise (even though it must have been know at the time of boarding that the crew would time out.
Upgraded to first class. I would consider the first class on that plane to be only slightly more comfortable than coach. Long delay.
