Had to wait several hours for them to get us back the carry-on luggage that they insisted we check in the first place."

Cons: "The flights were both operated by Delta but booked through WestJet, and the flights themselves were fine. The booking was through WestJet (found the flight on kayak which kicked me over to West Jet's site) and check in was a pain. Their code did not work for their site or Delta's, I had to FB message them both leaving and returning to ask for the correct one, and the first request took them hours to answer. I'll just book Delta next time and save myself the trouble."

STRONGLY SUGGEST AN AIRLINE EMPLOYEE TRIES TO SEE THE PROBLEMS FIRST HAND with a scooter, THEN RECOMMEND FIXES. And don't get me started on the restarants with tables too close together if you use a scooter. Toronto airport is better as a comparison. Alton and Mary Cason"

Cons: "I had a reserved Comfort Class Aisle seat, purchased at time of reservation and showing as my assigned seat through printing of boarding pass. At the gate, my seat was reassigned to a middle seat. This is a huge problem for me, as my back and leg injuries require the ability to stretch and move frequently. When complaining on Delta phone lines, I was told that the seat was needed for a Diamond member and therefore was "policy" to bump. Although I eventually received some compensation for the fact I paid more for the original seat, I remain very disappointed in Delta, if this is indeed the policy."

Cons: "American isn’t my preferred airline for obvious reasons (delays, notoriously bad service, old planes, and a lack of amenities like WiFi and tv’s), but now I’ll never spend my money with them again. They took me off an already delayed flight after I’d already boarded to examine my smart bag. I know that lithium batteries can’t be taken in the underbelly of the plane and I knew my bag would likely be checked at the gate (why I removed the battery and left it at home in the first place). When they asked me if I had a lithium battery in my bag I said “no.” They then gate checked the bag and allowed me on the plane. After everyone had been boarded (half an hour after we’d been scheduled to take off) they then called my name out on the speaker. I had to then de-board the plane and re-explain to staff that there was no lithium battery in my bag. The staff didn’t believe me citing the infallible logic: “there are ports so there’s a battery.” I told them again and again that the battery had been removed and the charging ports—while there—were inert as they weren’t attached to the battery. STILL, I had to remove all of my clothes from the bag, and open every single compartment (of which there were many) for them to allow me to get back onto the plane. They were telling me that they might have to “rebook the flight” if my bag couldn’t get on. I don’t think I need to explain how agitated/terrified that made me."

Cons: "About two hours before my flight, it was canceled after previously making an airplane switch the night before after checking in online. The I received an email while I was on the way to the airport saying that the airplane that I was going to fly out on was canceled due to airplane maintenance. While I am happy they didn't fly the plane while needing maintenance, they should have planned ahead and known of the maintenance or had a backup ready to go. Obviously it must have been something they just found, but in the big picture of things. You have to pay an way to much for a flight as it is. They should have to solve their own issues to honor their part of the contract. We (as customers) can't cancel a flight with out penalties. Why shouldn't they have to do the same?"

Pros: "On the trip from Des Moines to Houston, timeliness of flight was great. The boarding went smooth and was done quickly. The crew were friendly and courteous. Overall the first half of the trip was fine."
Cons: "I was extremely disappointed in the condition of my luggage when I picked it up plane side. The wheel was broke off and all the pockets had been unzipped and it appeared they had been rummaged through. I had to drag my bag through the terminal. I spoke with 3 individuals with United who referred me onto the next and each unwilling as the previous to help. I myself am in customer service and would never treat my customers the way I was treated by the employees representing your Airline. I would go above and beyond to make the sure that the customers experience was a great one in spite of the unfotunate incident so they would return. I have never flown United before, and I will not consider your airline in the future."

I told them to send it home, but they didn't and when I flew home 7 days later, it was still sitting in Munich!"

Cons: "Disenchanted flight attendants. For whatever reason, it is obvious that there is unhappiness. Not flat affect, just the look of disinterest, a look that tells you I don't care. In a customer based business it is so disheartening that the very person you may have to depend on to survive is not vested in the clientele that keeps her company in business, thereby insuring future paychecks. I'd like to communicate here that it wasn't all the attendants on either flight, but enough that it was obvious to anyone who paid even casual attention. I was flying home to California, so there were two additional flights a few days before the flights home. I never had any of the same flight attendants on any of the flight. As far as my observation of the attendants, as stated above, I think that speaks volumes. I will cite an example that happened on my trip from Iowa to Denver. I need wheelchair assistance, I walk with a cane, but not able to walk any distance. I pack a light carry-on, bring my purse, jacket and cane. I was being wheeled up the passageway in a regular wheelchair, and the man pushing me stated to the on-coming crew he "would be right back to get my suitcase, couldn't take both at the same time", and added " unless one of you could roll it up?". After an embarrassing pause, a female flight attendant said "Let the flight attendant do it. Add this to the list of responsibilities that aren't really my job." I actually twisted around to look at this person, I was so stunned to hear that! She grabbed my rolling carry-on handle and the look spoke columns. I was embarrased. Thank you. Debra K. Forsythe"

The United representatives at the gate told us they could not rebook us nor would they be able to assist us with locating a different connecting flight. We then contacted customer service by phone and were directed to connecting flights. However the connecting flights were at an airport two hours away. After being informed that we would not be able to fly out the next day from the Des Moines airport, we. Had no other choice but to rent a car to drive to the Omaha airport. We had to rent a car because they would not accommodate us by changing our return flights to match where we flying out of. This whole experience has been awful for a trip that has been booked for more than 6 months. I plan to continue to inform the public of this horrendous experience."

Lots of turbulence. Main problem I had was no leg room. Im not a big person but I felt like a stuffed sardine between 2 other people."

There weren't as many people on the flight from Houston to Seattle as there were on the Seattle to Houston part of our trip, so we were able to stretch out!"
Cons: "My chair was malfunctioning, and when the flight attendant asked me to put it in its upright position I could not comply immediately. I told her it was faulty, and she just kept saying push the button, which I was clearly doing. She didn't yell, but was stern and loud to the point where I started to become frustrated with her. At this point my girlfriend reached back and pulled the chair forward while I mashed the button hard. I don't feel like I should be the one held responsible for your faulty mechanism. I was already tired, uncomfortable, and she added miffed to the equation. We were already delayed and had to deboard and reboard after we had a 3 hour layover in the boring Houston airport."

Cons: "I was flying out of De Moines, IA to DC with a layover in Chicago. I received an email stating that my flight was changed to 3pm. While the email stated the flight number it didn't state the destinations or the airport. It turns out the email was referring to the layover flight that I had in Chicago. I even called the number provided in the email to verify the change and instead of giving me information on my flights it gave me a status update of the flight at that particular time of the day (Which was the day before when I called and was not something I particularly cared about). This wound up being very bad for me because I slept in and missed my flight. I booked another flight for the next day but a very bad snowstorm hit the east coast and was unable to travel back to DC for 5 more days. I had to get a hotel room in Chicago and spend over $500 in expenses because of this error. United should be more specific when notifying its passengers of any changes by email. Pros: "No delays, we were kept informed of status' of the process and we actually arrived slightly ahead of the advertised time. There were no weather or mechanical issues so the flight went off without a hitch."
Pros: "The multiple waiting area announcer was great and kept the mass amount of travelers informed on current and upcoming flight and departure gates ."
Pros: "Low cost flights with no frills works for me. If you want perks, don't use Frontier. Simple, right?"

Pros: "The staff was excellent and the boarding process was quick and smooth. While the flight was delayed, staff really did a great job moving everyone along quickly and safely."
Cons: "This was my first time flying Frontier. The flight was 2 and 1/2 hours delayed. While the boarding process was quick, the delay really put a damper on the flight. Seats were very uncomfortabe and seemed smaller than other airlines I have traveled more frequently. The carpet had gum all over it."

Pros: "Orderly boarding; very friendly flight attendants who REALLY know their craft. Shortly after takeoff there was a medical energency that they handled with expertise and caring as well as authority. The lead flight attendant and her staff worked together like a well oiled machine. this is our first time flying Frontier and it was an excellent experience. We’lll be back! Oh yea, coffee was great, not that awful strong Starbucks stuff."

Cons: "Frontier has mastered the art of a cheaply run airline that nickel and dimes you to death with extra fees for EVERYTHING. The Airbus A319 was equipped with hard shell seats with a tiny flip down tray large enough to barely hold two plastic cups with the tightest seat pitch I've ever encountered and rigidly upright non-reclining backs. They made Lufthansa seating a Cadillac by comparison. The tall guy behind me's feet stick out between my feet because he literally had no where else to put them. It's as if they tried to make the plane as uncomfortable as possible. I've flown across the Atlantic in a military transport on nylon webbing seats that were far less painful. There's a fee for baggage, even carry-ons, and for everything in the cabin, including water. The fares aren't cheap either, but I had to get to OKC for the weekend and American and Southwest were fully booked. Only Frontier had seats available, and now I know why. If it's too expensive for you to fly a decent plane, Frontier, just shut it down and save the traveling public a lot of aggravation and discomfort. if it's a choice between Frontier and the bus, take the bus!"
Cons: "First flight was delayed so we missed out connecting flight and Frontier wouldn’t do anything about it. Save yourself time and money (and actually get where you need to go) by using literally any other airline."

Cons: "After paying $239 for my round trip tickets I went to check in on the day of my flight and was hit with a litany of additional fees! I was charged a passenger fees at $135??? What the heck is that all about?!, Then I had to pay to get an actual seat ($28 each way) ,my checked bag $40 each way and a friggin carry on!! ($30 each way) Seems very deceptive to advertise a $239 round trip flight that over doubles in price when its all said and done."

Cons: "They close the counter 45 min prior to boarding. I arrived 35 minutes prior and there was no agent. I am TSA approved and it takes me 5 minutes to normally get through security. I had to miss my flight."

Cons: "The plane was definitely older and there was trash and something sticky all in and around my seat. The flight attendants were very stuck up and played on their tablets and phones for the duration of the flight, ate pizza, and looked to be drinking too. Not much customer help, but that's also because no complimentary items are given through frontier, no even a half cup of soda. There are no bonus features on board like wi-fi or tv's on seat backs to order tv or movies. The price of flight was offset by the cost of bags and seat, so I ended up paying the same as I would have via United. I will not be flyin Frontier again."

Cons: "Frontier has got to be the worst airline in the country. This is America's Ryan Air. They close their gate 40 minutes before the plane leaves; you will be stranded if you are late (My son missed his flight in the past when we arrived 50 minutes before the plane left). They charge for everything; checked bags, carry-ons, even drinks. There is no room to store anything. The seats don't recline. There is no entertainment. The staff is surly. They are supposed to be a low-cost airline, but, after all of the mark-ups, it's about the same. They have the worst on-time performance of any domestic airline. Do not fall for it. If you have ANY alternative choice, take it!!!"
Pros: "The flight was super cheap, the flight crew was friendly, and the seats were fairly comfortable."
Cons: "Though a sign was posted with a time when the counter agent would arrive, we (there were MANY of us waiting who had checked in electronically) had to wait over 20 minutes for her to show up to tag and take our checked bags. She was unkempt and unfriendly, and oddly insisted on looking at everyone's identification, even those who weren't checking bags. The flight crew was wonderful, and the rest of the flight was generally good. It's not effective for a travel business to begin a journey on a bad note."
Pros: "I liked being able to have priority getting off my first flight to make my connection in Denver. I had to sprint but I made it."
Cons: "I didn't like having to pay extra for my seat on both flights, pay for my carry on that didn't fit in your overhead compartment, and pay for my only carry on, a backpack. I paid for my flight, that should be the price of my seat and the things I need to travel. I pack light and I still had to pay an extra $100 on the day of my flight. VERY dissatisfied."

Cons: "2 1/2+ hour delay. No communication on why until just about to board. 1 hour sitting on tarmac when we landed waiting for a gate. Completely awful experience."

Cons: "Sitting in the airport for 3 hours to be told that we were ready, then have mechanical issues that delayed us another hour. After arriving in Denver we sat on the Tarmac for 30 minutes because another plane was at our gate. All I received was a $50.00 voucher for a future flight with frontier."

Cons: "It started with a 30 minute wait at the ticketing counter because the staff was at the gate boarding another flight. I was extremely surprised with a $40 baggage fee. The flight boarded and then we sat for over 2 hours because of a malfunction with the auto-pilot. The captain said they could fly the plane without the auto-pilot but there was an extreme amount of paperwork that had to be completed. Are you kidding me? Two hours to fill out paperwork--that is a complete waste of your employees time, let alone the 200 passengers that are stuck and delayed!!!! At least I now know that "cheaper" is a relative term when flying Frontier airlines. I have lifetime gold status on United...what was I thinking when I booked this flight?"
Cons: "Had to deplane, then get back on the plane, staff didn't communicate what was happening. We still didn't fly out for 45 minutes M. We had a sleepy, cranky baby because we were already flying out 2 hrs later than scheduled. No one checked in on is once. Very frustrating experience and I don't think we will fly frontier again if we can help it."
Pros: "The girl who took my ticket was extremely accommodating; I had forgot to register my son as a lap child and she did it without a problem!"

Cons: "Flight was delayed the excuse given was lame so it was caused by the airline. I have not flow frontier in some time the delay coupled with the worlds most uncomfortable seat. Pretty much ensures I will note fly Frontier again for some time"
