She was much more upset about it than we were and it made me uncomfortable refusing the food that I knew I couldn't eat. Other passengers even asked us if we had eaten anything. Got on the hotel’s shuttle bus and the driver announced that HoJo was full and all voucher holders would go to Rodeway Inn but those without vouchers would go to HoJo....huh!?? Called HoJo and the same person I’d spoken to 20 mins prior said it was correct, that Rodeway was a sister property. The Rodeway Inn Metro Airport is pretty disgusting. This is my opinion after coming from remote Mexico and extensive travel in Africa. It should be torn down. Delta/HoJo should not send customers there."

Pros: "Even though we were in the very back row, we did not experience a foul smell from the restrooms. This was a very nice relief. It is bad enough that the seats don't recline and there is no window in the very back row but prior experience with the added nausea of foul restroom order has been a serious insult to injury. In this case there was really minimal odor. Also since we are traveling as a family we are very happy that we were seated together. We have experienced the past that sometimes our seats will be fragmented and that creates major challenges when you are traveling with young children. However on this particular flight the ride was rough during both takeoff and landing, a lot of side to side shimmy. Also the cabin pressure varied quite a bit during landing causing all the kids to complain about some discomfort in their ears."

I realized the flight was technically operated not by WestJet, but Gojet. Went to Gojet's website and was told that Delta took care of all of their ticketing and such. Went to Delta's website, entered my ticket number and card number but I was not in the system as I was given all WestJet info (not Delta's). Luckily the baggage check in people figured it all out."

One reason I had stayed with Delta was although the ticket prices were higher the bags were free, now higher ticket prices and bag fees! Guess I will have to search for another air carrier. Delta is not loyal to me so I won't be loyal to Delta! Fuel is cheaper so they raise fees!"

I was randomly asked to check in my standard size carry one although many passengers with larger bags were allowed to take them with them. Overall there was a lack of planned approach."

If I fly again, I will definitely fly Lufthansa for flight crew like her. I skipped the evening meal as I was feeling unwell, but I had the breakfast. The fresh fruit, and especially the watermelon was delicious. There just wasn't enough of it."

Vegan food for my daughter was great ! Finnair and the country of Finland are vegan friendly!!! Way to go! Thank you

British Airways food was very tasteless but the staff were very accommodating for me and my baby boy.

The Interior was clean, and the leg room in economy was absolutely excellent. The Staff was outstanding, and showed the utmost professionalism at all times."

Some passengers rude enough to cut in front of the bathroom lines, and pretend not to comprehend English when they do. The Pork Dish and Breakfast dish were awful, however I recognize it isn't Finnish food, but a Korean variety. Two babies kept crying and screaming, for almost a solid 4 hours. I wasn't aware infants had the lung capacity or developed vocal chords to do such a feat. It also seemed like the parents were ignoring their babies not even trying to console them. Absolutely out of the hands of the staff, and I do not blame them for that. The only reason why the flight was so low, was simply because of things out of their hands. This is just a review of this specific flight, not the company itself."

Flight is on time less than 30% of the time. We had over a 2 hour delay.

Considering I cancelled the flight 2 months ago -- I would have to say the communication was poor -- since I continue to received updates. I say poor since Kayak seems not to want to respond to me to reschedule a flight -- they hold my voucher -- so I can not do it on my own --

I fly British Airways because they have convenient timings not because I’m expecting competence or comfort. Typically mediocre check in speed and flight punctuality. Old and tired planes. Oh well hopefully more choice will open up soon. And then it’s goodbye BA.

Attendant was really bad

Cons: "The flight was canceled due to mechanical difficulties and British airways delayed helping us for 2 hours and then told us to use the phone 800 number to book a different flight. we needed to connect in London for the flight to Tel Aviv. The man on the phone barely spoke English and set us up with a flight that would not get us to our destination in time for our religious Sabbath Friday night. When we tried to explain the situation he hung up on us. We called back and tried to explain again we either spoke to the same man or another Indian man whom also spoke unintelligible English and he also hung up on us. In the mean time my wife spoke with the counter agents and they tried to find us another flight but by now other airline counters were closed. An hour later I tried the 800 number again and spoke again with the same Indian guy, when I asked to speak to a manager he gave me a hard time then finally said ok, put me on hold which I stayed for a while and realized he just put me on hold indefinitely. Finally after being in the airport for 9 hours we found a flight from United and a family member booked it online for us which we took to Tel Aviv and got us here only 2 hours later than our original flight which had a 12 hour layover in London and we were going to spend time touring but did not get to. As far as I am concerned British Airways has done a horrible job and no one should ever fly with them again. Unfortunately our flight home is with them I hope it goes smooth."

What a surprise, once I was seated on plane, to hear an announcement for the traveler who had left a 'walking stick'; I told the nearest steward, and he got it for me - BA rocks! Overall, the air crew were so professional, (unlike certain things happening on other airlines at the moment), and I was very happy, even with my ovo lacto veg meal, (it really was tasty)."

Cons: "I have both celiac and a mushroom allergy -- no meal option was proviided to accommodate both. Sure enough, my gluten-free meal contained mushrooms. (It's surprising to me that, since celiacs often have other food allergies/sensitivities, the meal contained a pretty common allergen.) Stuff happens sometimes, but it felt a bit as if the flight attendant felt inconvenienced by my inability to eat the meal. Also, usually disabled passengers are given the opportunity to pre-board -- the wheelchair didn't arrive until quite late, so I was one of the last people, if not the last, on the flight, something that makes getting settled a lot more difficult than when I've been allowed to pre-board. I realize that wheelchair attendants are employed by the airport, not the airline, but he gate agent seemed unconcerned about the fact that nobody had arrived to pick up wheelchair passengers despite the fact that everyone else was already boarding. Finally, the flight departed/arrived quite late, which meant that I had about 10 minutes to spend in the Heathrow Club World lounge before having to wait for a wheelcehair attendant to take me to my connecting flight."
Cons: "The flight that I purchased from kayak had a 1 hour layover in London Heathrow. In order to make it to the next gate, I needed to go through security again and transfer terminals. There was no possible way I could have done this in an hour. You need a two hour layover minimum to complete this. As a result I missed my connection and was stuck in Heathrow for hours. Flights with this short of a layover should not be sold."

Cons: "The airline misplaced our stroller and one of our cases. We felt abandoned."
Pros: "It was a very smooth flight. There was a short delay and it took a long while to get our luggage at LAX, but the actual flight was very good."

My initial flights got canceled after o checked in 4 bags and now the bags are not in final destination or anywhere to be found.

The Air Canada flight to Athens didn't happen. Air Canada canceled the flight 14 hours before departure. Our group was re-routed, but all through different cities. My rebooking took me on United from DTW to Reagan (Washington DC) then Dulles (Washington DC) to Athens. That is almost impossible to transfer from one airport to the other. I spent 2 hours on the phone with Air Canada to change my connection and finally was booked for DTW to Dulles, Dulles to Athens. The individual agent was wonderful to work with. However, the whole cancellation experience on short notice was disappointing as a first-time international traveler.

Cons: "My flight was late arriving in Toronto no fault of mine then the aircanada security took over an hour to get through then they had been paging me and were rude when I finally made it to the plane again not my fault. Did not deserve the attitude!!!"

I understand they have a tough job to do, but pushing past people who are in the process of getting out of their way (even holding a baby!) is uncalled for. This happened not once, but 3 or 4 times in the course of the flight to my traveling companion and me."

Cons: "For non-U.S. Citizens the transiting in Canada is inconvenient and expensive. I wouldn't travel through Canada by plane again."
Pros: "Why Canada created a ridiculous process that requires a $7 payment for transmitting in Canada is beyond me. I hope they realize they are impairing the competition of it's own national airline."
Pros: "Great great great staff on the flight. Fast direct service ... Landing in T1 Dublin really speeds things . Checkin in good until.... See below"
Cons: "Plane was late leaving. Food was served around 2-2:30 am. Realize this budget but still 750$... Movies - player kept stalling Check in ... Crazy on bag drop at check in #5 lane in departures in Toronto. Perhaps one more staff at high volume to make sure the folk in the bag drop line actually have bag tags. Travel to same route last year at this time and it was the same experience."
Pros: "Great service. Only one other person in business class. Very pleasant flight"
Cons: "Our flight got canceled 12 hours before we were supposed to take off. They postponed our flight 24 hours. It took forever to change it so that we still arrived at our destination on the same day. I'm glad I checked my email before going to bed because otherwise I would have shown up to the airport not knowing my flight was canceled. That should not have happened. It almost ruined my trip."

Cons: "When someone has a terrible experience with a single individual it's just an anomaly. When it came to our experience it's easy to see that it's systemic and come from the top down in that company. The lack of customer service training is apparent. It was rampant and the overall feeling was just plain rudeness exuding from every team member. I'll never fly Air Canada again."

Cons: "Flight canceled due to mechanical problems. Out of 4 agents at desk at airport only one knew what to do in case of a cancellation. They all stood around eating raisinettes! Unprofessional, lack of training, lack of planning (why wasn't another plane sent). One agent was going through the line giving out a phone number to call? Why weren't they trained? I called and thankful I was up at the desk so I could tell the agent what to do from the lady on the phone! Lost a day on our already short Christmas visit with family. Would love a refund!"
Pros: "The Air Canada staff in Austin was wonderful. The flights from Ottawa to Toronto and back were fine."
Cons: "Problems that were, to be sure, not entirely the airline's fault. The trip from Toronto to Austin was delayed because someone had taken the flight attendant's bag from the overhead. We had to wait until either the bag was recovered or a new flight attendant was brought in. On the return flight, the first officer had ruptured her eardrum, and the plane could not leave Austin until a new pilot was flown in from Toronto. It took hours for the airline to arrange for hotel rooms. The airline then offered vouchers when we arrived in Toronto, but their representative brought enough for only about 2/3 of the passengers."

Cons: "We missed our flight. OK, our fault. Any attempts to contact the airline were unsuccessful. They did not have an office in the airport and the numbers we were given at the information desk to US, Canada, or the local representative were not responsive. We ended up buying tickets for another airline. We were lucky to get the last minute fares for $630 one way. Air Canada's price was over $6,000. An e-mail from the airline reminding of the check-in time would have prevented all this."

Cons: "My first flight was late then cancelled, then replaced by another. That one was late too and made me miss my connecting flight. I had to spend the night stuck in the Toronto airport with nowhere to safely sleep and my late arrival meant the entire first day of my long planned vacation was ruined. I was supposed to get to my destination around 10 in the morning, instead I arrived around one in the morning the next day. All I got from Air Canada for this trouble was a $10 meal voucher for airport restaurants that cost $25 and were closed during my stay."

Cons: "The fact that because I was late for my flight, my reservation was cancelled. I was not given the opportunity to change my flight at all, I just lost out on the return portion of my travel. I would have been willing to pay a fee to change my return, but not given the opportunity. Had I booked directly with the airline, they would have had no problem making a change. Buyer beware!!! If you don't book directly with an airline, you may suffer the same fate as me! This was an almost $1,300 dollar learning experience. Do not use third party online booking agents! You do not have the same protections as dealing with the airlines directly."

Everything she said in French was unintelligible- very offensive (and disturbing) for Francophone passengers such as myself. And for a Canadian carrier- This shows no respect for our pluralism. When we book online and try to pick priority seating, then find out that the plane is so small that the 9th row means 9 out of 12 or something, this feels like a con. Especially when we pay extra. Stop making people pay for seats that don't get them any priority boarding (Zone 3!) and offer no real advantage."

Cons: "I got bumped. Even though, I made my flight on time AND had chosen my seat over a month ago, air Canada decided to bump me from my international flight. I was able to get a seat but not the seat I would have chosen (I'm six foot, I can't sit by the window). Since it was so crowded, I couldn't stretch my legs or use the loo. Finally I PAID for the seat I was bumped from; no one can tell me when I'll get reimbursed."
