Pros: Flight attendants were nice

Pros: they boarded the back of the plane first (where I was to be seated), plus quick deplaning out the back when the flight ended

Cons: I wasn't able to fly Alaska Airlines due to storm in Washington DC. My first flight American Airlines from Charlotte to Washington DC was cancelled. The second flight Alaska Airlines from Washington DC to Portland was delayed, but I never flew. I got a direct flight from American Airlines from Charlotte to Portland instead.

Yet when I went on kayak they were still selling seats on these fflghts. This was unconscionable before a long five hour flight to make a 70 year old women sit in an airport with 290 others when their were other options or were the airlines just overselling again so they could boot people off the plane?

Seems they can anticipate these issues in advance a little better and be more efficient in resolving them as this is what they do on a daily basis. Once plane available, no crew was available. What happened to our original crew? Attendants @ the desk would mumble "updates" in the overhead phone which were inaudible, prompting passengers to constantly approach the desk to ask about flight status. The whole process seemed unprofessional.

I am a 71 years old woman and I was never treated the way the attendant treated me

Cons: The flight was delayed by 3 hours. They didn't tell us it was delayed until 2 hours before the flight, by which time we were already at the airport. They first delayed it 1 1/2 hours and then another 30 minutes every half hour. The airline/crew never even acknowledged the delay or apologized for it.

Cons: Got to Philly - no one there - rushed 2 concourses and plane still there with daughter on-board. They gave away our seats, told us we would not get on, would not get our baggage and would not get put up in a hotel. Because of the NBA draft - had to travel 60 miles to New Jersey for a hotel. Lost a day, lost 2 tours, endured additional hotel costs...and the attendant made it clear she was on overtime and we just needed to move on. American Airlines is too big and consolidation of airlines has not been good for the public.

Pros: DCA based AA gate agents were awesome. We were booked on a flight that was delayed, turned out there was a flight about to depart (it had been delayed 2.5hrs due to weather), but was departing prior to our reg scheduled flight so they put us on standby. No doubt the crew was also columbus based and eager to get home...as they did. Couldn’t be more pleased to get home

Pros: The flight attendant was fantastic. Very friendly, very helpful, checking on all the passengers. He even loaned his phone charger to one passenger. It was a full flight and he was working hard, but had a smile on his face the entire time. Give him a raise!
Cons: the airplane was absolutely freezing. It was so cold, you could actually see the air blowing (like in winter). There's no need for that. Somehow European airlines manage not to freeze out all their passengers. It was less than a two hour flight but felt like an eternity because it was so uncomfortable. Seat size - this is absolutely the smallest it can/should go. I am pretty skinny, but even I'm running out of room and the seat backs could be made a bit more comfortable. Not only is there almost no recline, but the way they are constructed - they actually push my head forward - not made for short people.

Cons: They had no record of this portion of my trip, after a few people checked they found the Chicago to Ammon part so they added me onto a flight from Washington to Chicago. All should of went well from there but they sent me to the wrong gate. Luckily I just made it to the correct gate for boarding. Upon arriving at Chicago there was no one available to provide information on how to get to Royal Jordanian gates. Also on my AA portion of my flight coming into The U S in New York the flight was cancelled and I was told the next flight Available was next day (18hr delay) at the other NY airport. I had to have someone drive from D.C. (My destination) to pick me up

Cons: With checking my luggage my bag fee was waived a total of seven times this trip because I'm a military wife to see my husband overseas who is serving a year in Saudi Arabi except this past time on October 2nd at DCA airport. Spoke with the Supervisor Ralph who stated it was against policy. How stringent is this policy if it was waived seven times previously? Policy needs to be reviewed with entire staff. I will no longer use American Airlines because their military convenience and policies no longer seem to favor the military. My husband also after speaking with him will also no longer use your airline including all his members he overseas when they return after their year tour.

Cons: I thought I was booking an Alaska Airlines flight. I booked on Alaska Airlines website. I picked seats. I missed the part in the email I received later saying I didn't have seats. I never received a check in notification email. It took forever to check in at the airport because the the kiosk took a while to pull up my reservation after asking for additional information. I got stuck with middle seats on 5 hour plus flights when I had actually checked to confirm I could still select a window seat before I booked and did indeed select window seats when I booked.

Pros: No food served. Late take off. Seats cramped. Forced to carry on bags, then asked to check for free, if they don't fit. That forces everyone to fight to get on the plane, to get the best place for their luggage. Why not remove the $25 fee on the checking the first bag?

Cons: The Boeing 737-800 did NOT have enough leg room for me. My first flight to Houston was very uncomfortable, even with an aisle seat. If I can, I will avoid this plane when booking future flights.

Cons: We didn't have seats assigned and the gate attendent didn't take the time to tell any of the 20 of us waiting for 15-20 mins to speak to a gate agent what was going on until AFTER she boarded the rest of the plane. When asked what was going on she responded "excuse me, I'll get to you when I get to you and thanks for your 'non attitude'" to the woman who asked her if she had any plans to greet us or even ackwnowledge us. Then the flight attendants became flustered as they realized they separated a 5 year old child and his father and sat the child in the emergency seat. When several of us attempted to help they were rude so when I put my headphones in to pass the time and didn't hear the woman ask if I was willing to sit in the emergency isle she snidely said "there's always one millenial not paying attention." Ummm.... I had my eyes closed and was listening to my music since they clearly wanted us to mind our own business and NOT try to help the father (meanwhile all of us strangers were trying to figure out how to rearrange in order to help). The only reason entertainment gets a 2 is bc I had good conversation with the passenger next to me, not because of anything United did. Really unbelievable that they continue to operate this way and treat PAYING customers like this. It's sad actually.

Pros: Gate attendant helped reseat my 2yo so that he wasn't across the aisle from me. Enjoyed the comped food in the Economy Plus seats.

Pros: Everyone was very helpful and very friendly. I had recently visited my,daughter and her family in March and flew with another airlines. I didn't have a good experience, they seemed rather bothered when I asked for some help. So this time my daughter booked my flight with United. Like I said everyone was helpful and very pleasant, it didn't seem to be an act. I enjoyed my flights. Thank you

Pros: Average stuff
Cons: Flight was delayed 5.5 hrs (due to their own fault) and they did not even have anyone come and tell us nor have any food or drinks for us in the meanwhile. They did not even have options for anyone to board another flight if needed. They did give 50 e-dollars to use for another trip at the end but I do t think that's enough compensation for their poor service. I probably would avoid them on another trip.

Cons: Original flight booked was for 1:30. Week before changes to 5:30. Then 6:30. Arrive at the airport and flights delayed to 7. Then 730. 8. 830 etc etc etc til 11. No explanation. No food tickets. Rude responses like this gem: pointed out how long I was waiting with no word --> told by a united employee that he's been there since 7am. I point out he's bad to be there. He says he's not. I guess a united volunteer then? Then only handed out water since 'it's a short flight'. Useless.

Pros: I liked that it was a short flight.
Cons: The seating space mostly. And the long layovers and continual delays I experienced from Friday and Sunday. The flight attendant wasn't very pleasant or welcoming.

Cons: Flight was delayed several times which meant I would miss my connecting flight. Rebooking was challenging and took over an hour. After it was supposedly rebooked on another airline, I couldn't check in because it wasn't booked correctly. Now sitting in airport for the last 10 hours and have another 5 hours until my flight. Not happy.

Pros: United comfortable classy convenient. Ordered on time staff was friendly beverages are free and plenty of legroom thank you I will book again

Cons: Wi-fi didn't work (3rd flight this trip). Ran out of cheese plate in the 2nd row... Really? Late departure caused missed connection. Then the customer service agents - if you can call them that -- were downright pathetic, absolutely no effort to deal with the crowds of people who needed help. Finally had to call UA while in line and got booked on another connecting flight to a connecting flight :( and they freaking gave me the wrong gate!

Cons: The boarding process is ridiculous. Takes forever because it is totally irrational and driven by favoritism. Plus they don't enforce the baggage size rules.

Pros: Pilot and plane crew seemed good
Cons: Takeoff scheduled for 7:45pm, didn't happen until after midnight. Only one agent provided at airline counter to help so stood in line for a very very long time.

Pros: Susan Smith at check in counter Reagan National was very helpful, kind and service-oriented. I hope you recognize the gem you have.
Cons: Flight was delayed and gate agents appeared tired, agitated, and unhelpful.

Pros: Evening flight. Crew wasn't the nicest but they were professional nonetheless. Flight itself was smooth but a bit of a bumpy landing (I think it was a bit windy so not surprised. It is Ch). Not the best flight but certainly not the worst either.
Cons: DirecTV in-flight entertainment. You pay or you're subjected to constant ads and/or snippets of shows. I'd rather watch one free movie that I can't choose rather than pay to watch bad TV.

Pros: On time, smooth ride and fantastic landing in a small plane.
Cons: There is apparently nothing between the floor and the outside of the plane because it was very cold upon entering the plane and it got considerably colder on the route. The cabin temperature was fine but the floor was freezing on both outbound from Bend and inbound.

Cons: Sitting on the tarmac for 30+ min in Washington.

Pros: Plane was nice and clean.
Cons: Having to take a shuttle from one terminal to another in Chicago.

Cons: Well easier to say what I like. U've got a nice crew at least on our flight, very professional and nice. Other than that, well u have got lots of things to improve

Pros: I liked the fact that I had a window seat... at the way back. Also that I was at least offered snacks, or whatever was left because they ran out.
Cons: They ran out of meals and snacks, both paid and free. We all pay a price, yet seats and class determine whether you will get your moneys worth. I guess the point is that I at least made it home.

Pros: Arriving.

Pros: Glad they waited for me.

Cons: they canceled my flight and couldn't reschedule. I had to pay for a rental car and drive to my destination which has ended up costing me more money and the flight was already very expensive to begin with.
