By the time they got to us, our food was cold and they ran out of the menu item we wanted. I have no intention of flying Qatar again. I will stick with Emirates"

I tried for hours to contact Turkish Airlines and their phone was disconnected. I could not reach anyone to try to re-schedule a new flight or to ask if the flight was going to be re-directed. I received no information and ended up having to book a new flight for the next day. After my flight had already left Turkish Airlines posted on their website an alert. I am shocked that it took so long to post any information and I am very upset that I was unable to reach customer service. I will NOT be choosing this airline to fly on again."

Was finally placed on a new flight but the flight had a 24hr layover in Istanbul (my previous flight didn't), forcing me to pay out of pocket for food and lodging in Turkey."

Dulles was a ghost town ( abnormally slow). All I had was carry-on. They said they closed the flight. They quoted me at $1800 for a one way ticket directly from Lufthansa. The original round trip was $900. I declined, sat down for 15 min booked another Lufthansa flight online for $800, checked in and was through security by 5:50. Just in time for my original flights last call. I could have made it easily. Boooo Lufthansa booo."

Pros: "Efficient, early check in and seat selection was simple and done from home. Got to the airport early which is unusual for me but everything went smoothly and was relatively low stress."

Cons: "I had paid for comfort seats ($140) extra. When I checked in at gate I was given another seat assignment (without explanation). It turned out to not be comfort seat, in fact it was the last row in the airplane. Had to get eh gate agent back, which was not fast. She said flight was full and a family had been spread out. I understand, but you can't just bump me from a paid and selected seat to a standard seat, especially on transatlantic flight after paying $140 extra. There was no apology. She went back to gate and little while later came back with a comfort seat. Some people seem not to have shown up as the seat next to me stayed open as well. It was very poorly handled."

Pros: "Boarding was again easy, directions were clear as to where I should sit. My only trouble with the crew was that announcements were sometimes too quiet to hear at all, which I hardly cared about anyway (seat belts, please). The movie selection was unexpectedly good, as was the music section. Books were meh."
Cons: "I was not comfortable after about four hours, my biggest problem being I had already been riding in an airplane for a total of six hours that day. Food was fine, but came with salt, which was nice. I don't expect a four course meal on an airplane, but I didn't eat with gusto. The headphones provided were lousy, but I just plugged in my own set."

Pros: "Lufthansa's newest 747-8 airliner was quite the treat for international flight. 100% LED lights with subtle purple-blue mood lighting overnight looks pretty and mimics Virgin's design. Dozens of movies to choose from in addition to many more entertainmrnent options in the widescreen touchscreens. And actual silverware for food, even in economy. The addition of Premier Economy (wider and longer seats) copies the design from United's Economy Plus, at the expense of regular economy's legroom (I believe). Note: if you have noise canceling earphones or headphones like myself, get the 2-jack airline adapter. Lufthansa uses the proprietary dual-jack, at least in economy."

Cons: "When I checked in I was told that I could take my suitcase, which is a carry-on size suitcase, on board. While boarding I was made to check it as luggage and told it was to big and too heavy even though it weighed 12kg."

Cons: "The staff in the check in was not sure if i need a visa to enter Europe, viena and Frankfurt and i really explained that Albania is in shengen and we do have bio metric passport but they need to verify which took around 15-20minutes waiting there."

Cons: "I ordered a Kosher meal and I received frozen, even the water was solid frozen. I told the flight attendant when they recollected the trays and she took note to avoid the same mistake for Breakfast."

Pros: "Due to business I travel allot so I deal with allot of airlines. This is by far the best airlines I have used. Excellent crew and airport staff. I don’t think words can express how satisfied I am with this airlines and airport. The nicest people and great service. Clean and modern aircraft. Going to try flying only with KLM from now on."

I felt like I was being tortured and didn’t sleep at all and so slept when getting into Amsterdam rather than being able to explore the city. I was out $200 for the Airbnb (could’ve stayed in the airport cheaper) and $200 for a dinner cruise I slept through. NEVER AGAIN"

DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

Cons: "I paid almost $400 for upgraded seats. When I got to the airport-- no seats-- both ways!! i didn't even have regular seat assignments. I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Cons: "The flight was very delayed. We sat on the floor because there was not enough seating. We eventually had to squeeze into buses and drive around the tarmac to find a plane. We lost 5 bags in the process but eventually got them 2 days after arrival. the bags did not show up when we originally were told they would."

Cons: "Taking off late caused me stress because I had transferring flight within less than two hours in transit originally. So we arrived later about 50 minutes so I had to manage my situation and find my next gate and be on time. And an other thing that I disliked was that I was allowed to have only one baggage which was very unusual for international flight between two countenances. And the crew was not polite enough so she made fun of my Cary-on. In short, I expected more from KLM which is famous for them being "Royal" but not acting as one of them."

Pros: "Flight was on time, crew professional, food and drinks good and kept coming. I learnt Dutch on the in-flight entertainment system. I was in a good mood talking to another passenger about his new luggage system. This mood was kept and not taken away on the flight."
