The incoming flight was two hours late, so the departure was late. Our arrival in Paris was late. We made the flight, but our luggage didn't. Our return flight from Paris to Dulles was half an hour late because of people from connecting flights. We arrived about 30 minutes late, but no big deal (unless you had a connection)"

Pros: "Delta plane was renovated for the entertainment and seat comfort. This was the first time I didn't have to recline the seat because the normal incline felt fine. Legroom was good also. Every seat had a screen and free media to choose from. Very impressed. Great job Delta!"

Cons: "We left DC late because of Delta's inefficient boarding process. We landed in Atlanta late. Our flight to Sioux Falls left early, without us. My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline."

Also I didnt like that i had to stand and wait for 3 hours in the line because my flight was canceled but no one could let us know if there gonna be any flights within the day. I slept in the airport because i couldnt find a hotel to spend the night close to the airport. They were all full and i had no time to find one since I was waiting there for 3 hours with no informational. I slept on the floor and delta didnt even offer us a blanket. That was my worst trip ever."

Pros: "I am 6'6" 300 pounds ... So I regularly book first class for trips over 2 hours in length ... Delta remains my #1 choice for both value and overall experience in first class. The difference between Delta and all other domestic carriers is just overwhelming. United and American/US Air could learn a lot from Delta. I could have flown this trip direct on United, but chose to fly through Atlanta on Delta for less money and a better experience from the baggage check to the gate to the in-flight experience."

While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

This wouldn't be so bad if they were able to handle it in an orderly way, but the airport showed complete incompetence in organizing anything and there were people everywhere trying to find the right door which kept changing on them, and the times kept changing...it was a mess. Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

Cons: "My initial flight from PWM to DCI was canceled within an hour of boarding time, and reschedule for a whole day later. Despite calling customer service, I was offered no form of compensation or alternative route at that time. My rescheduled flight for the next day had a last minute gate change, and then was then delayed for over one hour. I wasn't alerted until I was already at the gate. On my return journey from DCI to PWM, I was not given a seat assignment, my gate was changed 5 minutes before boarding, then the flight was delayed 45 minutes before the initial boarding time. After boarding, our plane was delayed on the runway for over an hour due to a mechanical problem. I was supposed to arrive home at 11:30pm, but did not land in Portland until 1:15am. I understand that unexpected problems occur, but not ONE part of my trip went according to the itinerary. Even the adjusted schedule eventually had to be adjusted (or readjusted). Each of these schedule changes meant I missed out on some very important events. This flight was affordable, but not cheap. Had I known I wasn't able to make certain appointments, I would have reconsidered even spending the money to make the trip. I'm very disappointed that American not only did not over some form of compensation, but flat out denied me any sort of voucher when I very meekly asked. Why should I consider spending money on another flight with American in the future, when I CANNOT count on any sort of schedule reliability? Or, when things go wrong, I cannot count on being supported as a valued customer through some sort of compensation?"

Cons: "To start, the boarding process is a chaos. First class and executive platinums should board first, but of course the gate agent was completely clueless and rude, even to an ExPlat. Althiugh the flight is only 1.35 hours, I was surprised that flight attendants didn't even make an effort to offer a drink service. No turbulence or anything, just seems they were lazy."

Cons: "Great value, but you get what you pay for. Don't expect any plush seats, complementary drinks/snack."

Pros: "Frontier is a low cost budget airline. You have to expect that you will get zero comfort and nothing complimentary. Staff was cordial and flights were on time."
Cons: "I disliked the check in/bag drop situation departing Denver at the front desks. The line was insanely long and took over 45 minutes just to drop a bag off that you've already paid for. You can't even get a cup of water on the flight without paying for it. Hopefully nobody's dehydrated."

Cons: "The downgrading of the plane on a fully booked flight. Total chaos at the airport. The ticket agent said, "Good thing you checked in online! You should always do that" Not a good sign. It was impossible to choose a seat even 5 minutes into online check-in time opened up. Its hate selling at its best. Never again."

Cons: "Deceptive for Frontier after I had paid for my flight to announce on the check-in day their carry-on bag fee. Their website wouldn't allow me to check-in online when I refused to pay for a seat or take their credit card solicitations. I had a long wait on the phone to check in so I wouldn't pay extra to check-in at the airport I no longer fly Spirit airline who used the same deceptive practices."

Cons: "I think it's overkill that the only free drink we got on this flight was water."

Pros: "The terminal was an interesting mix of people, music, and food. It was however a little congested and could have had more seating. It was peak time for flying so that may have contributed. The aircraft was clean and appeared new. Seating was compact but I knew that prior to purchasing tickets."
Cons: "Flight attendants provided decent service. No freebies - that's how Frontier rolls because of their cheaper airfare."

Cons: "the seats in the new aircraft have a lot less padding than you may be used to, meaning that the back curvature is less forgiving, but you have more space. My lower back started to spasm b/c the shape was wrong for my back, so I had to use my sweater for padding instead of a pillow as I planned. Not the end of the world - it is an economy airline - but something I wish I had known. Now I do and will bring a 2nd sweater for pillow."

Pros: "Crew was great, very friendly, efficient and professional. A great group."
Cons: "I am 6'1" and did not fit in the seat. For 3 hours my legs touched the tray in front of me and they were even at an angle. The kid behind me kept kicking my seat and putting their feet on my armrest to boot. Most uncomfortable-- more legroom is a must to avoid bruising in the trip and to prevent deep vein thrombosis."

Cons: "The flight was delayed for weather. No big deal it happens. However, the flight attendent said we were the plane flying out to San Diego for the connecting, which was false information. When we landed in Denver they had nothing figured out and had all of the unfortunate passengers going to San Diego forced to stay overnight in the airport."

No one at the counter said anything. When I started boarding they said I had to pay $60 because I didn't pay at check in. If someone said anything at check, I would have put the bag in my checked bag. There was a group of people with the same experience"

Cons: "My first time on Frontier and I didn't realize it was like a Ryan Air experience with United Airlines prices. My Frontier flight came out to be more expensive than other flights in the end because you get charged for so many things."

Cons: "The seats a bit crowded. I don't like the baggage policy at all, especially the carry-on policy. I traveled with my mom and we shared a suitcase to save another baggage fee, which limited us almost too much with our luggage. If we had not shared then it would have been more than flying with another airline. I really disliked that it costs more for luggage if you don't pre-pay online more than 24 hrs in advance. What if you don't have a computer? Some older people don't. I would fly Frontier again but only if the rate was far less than another airline."

Lastly, you have to pay for a beverage and there is no television or movies to watch. The ride was extremely bumpy. I will not fly again with this company ever, sorry."

Cons: "Multiple charges that bought 'low' airfare up with others, yet lacked any free perk/service. Felt duped. Nickel-&-dimed for even a drink of water. Took abt an HOUR for luggage to appear! WTF? Hated it. Will not fly Frontier ever again unless desperate."

Cons: "My flight never happened. I was supposed to fly on a Thursday, but because I was passing through Denver and a blizzard had closed the airport the DAY BEFORE, Frontier's flight was cancelled on Thursday. First I spend an hour and fifteen minutes on hold before finally giving up and calling back in the middle of the night. Then I waited fifteen minutes to speak to someone, who informed me that the earliest they could get me a flight would be TUESDAY. That is FOUR DAYS from my day of departure. My only options were a refund or a Tuesday flight. I asked to speak to a manager, but the employee refused to transfer me and eventually hung up on me. This was hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had with an airline. I am still fighting for a refund, after I had to purchase a day-of flight with another airline to reach my destination. It required me to fly from a different airport and to a different airport, which was a nightmare for my other travel plans. Needless to say, I will never fly Frontier airlines again, and will never recommend them to anyone."
