After an inconvenience-filled day, I thought this was pretty poor service and out of line"

Cons: "The flight left two hours late. Apparently this happens a lot with this flight these days because it's an Airbus 380 coming from Paris to Dulles and turning around. The incoming flight was two hours late, so the departure was late. Our arrival in Paris was late. We made the flight, but our luggage didn't. Our return flight from Paris to Dulles was half an hour late because of people from connecting flights. We arrived about 30 minutes late, but no big deal (unless you had a connection)"

Cons: "ON ticketing at New Orleans I wasn't allocated a seat number. At the gate shortly prior to boarding I needed to attend the desk for that allocation. I was also not told which Terminal the plane would go to in LAX and which terminal the connecting flight would be leaving from. They were not sure! Consequently I floundered around at LAX wasting time and bothering people for information that should have been known to me. The security checks are over the top and inconsistent in the US."

I was surprised that Delta handling was worse than any of the cheaper flights I normally take and will not be checking any baggage with Delta again."

Cons: "We left DC late because of Delta's inefficient boarding process. We landed in Atlanta late. Our flight to Sioux Falls left early, without us. My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline."

Also I didnt like that i had to stand and wait for 3 hours in the line because my flight was canceled but no one could let us know if there gonna be any flights within the day. I slept in the airport because i couldnt find a hotel to spend the night close to the airport. They were all full and i had no time to find one since I was waiting there for 3 hours with no informational. I slept on the floor and delta didnt even offer us a blanket. That was my worst trip ever."

Entertainment screen between center seat and window seat so I just didn't even try to look at it and mostly just leaned forward to have a little space. Also another inch or 2 was taken by person in front of me putting their seat back. With such restrictive space why is this even possible??? Flying has become ridiculous and I try not to as much as I can."

Cons: "To start, I had paid extra to upgrade to a seat with more leg room only to find I had been reassigned to the back of the plane. This was after I had already done an online check-in for the appropriate seat. Then I was told by the AA agent at the desk that my upgrade was in the system but that it was “fake”. Apparently the money I paid two months before was no good on this flight. I was traveling with my boyfriend and they would not allow us at the same counter because we were not married. After much haggling we were finally able to rectify the situation. Horrible start. Then, once on the plane, the in- flight entertainment system as well as the lights broke right before take off so there was nothing to watch or see for an almost 8 hour flight."

We arrived home and they did not transfer two of our three checked bags to our flight, thus making it highly inconvenient upon our arrival home with no luggage."

This aircraft had screens, but not individual ones so you're stuck watching whatever sitcom replay they pick, although there is a moderate selection of other music. I've been on a newer aircraft with the in-seat power and interactive screens so I know how good it can be, so this was a little disappointing."

She walked away without looking at. On her way down the hall says it will be open in an hour. An hour later I go to the gate. A woman is there and finishing up with another customer. When it was my turn, she said she was closed, yet she helped the joy behind me for over an hour. I know this because I got In the generic questions line and stood there for an hour watching the woman who was "closed" help this guy. When I was FINALLY able to talk to someone, the only thing he told me was to walk fast. That was well worth the 2 hour wait. I will never fly with American again."

Cons: "United. September 14 Newark to Delhi Premium Economy Entertainment screen didn't work for 1st hour of the flight. the movie list was mediocre at best. The screen was smeared with some substance. The list of movies on the United entertainment app is great (via internet) but connectivity on this type of flight is spotty so the traveler is forced back to the antique screen plane system. Dinner. Butter chicken or vegetable options. Food was bland and very small portions for the length of flight. The snack was delivered immediately after dinner was picked up. I did not open it. Looked like a hard roll with something on it. Style of service is abrupt, bordering on rude. Uses terminology that non-US travelers from different cultures would not understand, for instance do you want "white" coffee. Asked me if I had someone at home to pick up after me as she felt she was cleaning too much off the floor. Her comments appeared to be directed at me but it was not my trash (and even if it was, a better approach would be recommended). The flight attendant realized she had gone too far and apologized. Then complained about this "route" being difficult, with no one listening. She concluded by wishing me a good flight and saying that she hoped that she had not offended me. I assured her that she had. Breakfast was mediocre. Egg with soggy potatoes and an inedible sausage. Did not see what they were offering in the veggie dish. Staff seems tired and not culturally sensitive. There needs to be some retraining and consideration given to long haul menus and entertainment. I take this flight at least once a year. It continues to deteriorate."

Cons: "We were forced to deplane in DC and instructed to go to the United customer service counter to arrange our missed connections in Frankfurt. After standing in line at the United counter for 2 hours, we were told to go to our gate to re-board our plane. we wasted all that time standing and all but 2 agents had left the counter to take a break. it was EXTREMELY STRESSFUL not knowing what would happen to our missed connections. when we reboarded WE still did not have connecting flights.Also, on the United flight to Frankfurt, I had a premium economy seat and it was HORRIFIC. the extra leg room did NOT make the seat more comfortable and I SUFFERED greatly because I am recovering from an injury. Upon arrival in Frankfurt, after a great deal of begging, I got a hotel room for the night and upgrad to economy premium for the flight from Frankfurt to Addis. that Lufthana flight was better because my seat reclined somewhat but still I had a great deal of pain throughout the flight and I would have preferred to have been upgraded to business so that I could lay flat to ease my physical pain. Overall, the experience was extremely STRESSFUL and painful and the only way, I feel that Lufthana can repair this situation is to give me a free upgrade to business on my flight home.to Miami"

They didn't assign seats and when I tried to call first they said wait until 24 hours in advance or pay $100 THEN when I tried to check in 24 hours in advance they wouldn't assign seats bc the first leg was operated by United. They then said United couldn't assign seats at check in - only at the gate AND THEN the said they couldn't assign seats for our second leg because it was operated by Luftansa. It was ridiculous added stress on our honeymoon and my husbands first cross Atlantic trip. Made me never want to fly Luftansa/United transatlantic again (and I have been a milageplus card holder so that's saying something)"

Cons: "Seat didn't recline! So uncomfortable. Non-alcoholic drinks should be free. Crew should let passengers onow about "happy hour" drinks and deals available...I would have purchased one."

Pros: "The Regan airport is pretty nice."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed enough that we knew we would miss our connection. They were not very helpful and we had no good options available. We were basically stuck with only bad options. No one offered compensation or even to wave the surprise fees for seats and for baggage. This was after they lost our luggage on our way out to Washington!! With no compensation or apology. We will never fly Frontier again - it was a huge fiasco."

Cons: "Despite the missed connection the woman at the ticket counter insisted that I would be charged for a carry on bag. I flew American instead and will be seeking a refund."

Cons: "We were diverted due to weather and nothing was communicated to us for hours. Not allowed to have our bags. They also nickel and dime you for everything from a carry on to even selecting your seat on the plane."

Pros: "Everything was efficient, smooth flight, and we landed--that's a good flight, right? We even landed 30 minutes ahead of schedule, which was great since I had to wait at the baggage carousel."
Cons: "It was my first time flying with Frontier and I didn't know about the bag charges and seat charges--that's on me though. Not sure I will fly with them again, as waiting for what COULD have been my carry-on at the carousel took so much time... then again, it makes it easier and quicker to board and de-board. But the seat charges were still ridiculous. Wish drinks and like, pretzels could be free just so we don't deplane with harsh breath."

Cons: "The seats are not movable, so you could not lean back a little. No screen for entertainment, tray table was less than half the normal size, uselss, snack choices, had little that one might consider healthy. A lot of junk food, and a huge offering of alcoholic beverages. Could we maybe have healthier food. It could still be pre-packaged somehow. Cost of carry on: $30. Checked suitcase: $25. That did not really make any sense, other than they make more money that way. Also irritating that if you want to have a specific seat, rather than waiting for what you might get at the airport, you have to call them, and pay $13 for a seat reservation. They are nickel and diming you, or rather in dollars. It is a rip off."

Beginning with a small carry on suitcase that I have used for years with all airlines I had to pay $45 to carry on or $40 and the ticket counter. I only had a small purse in addition to the carry on suitcase. This made my flight to and from $80-$90 more expensive. Then if you chose a seat you had to pay extra - if you wanted a reclining seat you had to pay extra - the exit row seats were $50 more -you had to pay for sodas - pretzels - everything! I will NOT fly Frontier again - it is cheaper to fly a major airline without all the add on costs. Dianne Robinson"

Cons: "I had an 11-hour delay from DCA to DIA. There was little, if any, communication from Frontier personnel to passengers about why, and what was being done about it. There were points in time where there wasn't a representative at the ticket counter or the gate. The customer service reps on the phone couldn't help either. I eventually ended up spending the night in Denver, and over 27 hours late into SFO."

Cons: "I can't believe you even have to pay for a Diet Coke! What's next? Toilet paper?"

Cons: "I don't like the airlines' carry on policy of charging $45 if you bring a carry-on bag onboard to be placed in the overhead. It is a ridiculously fee, especially since once on board passengers are only offered water anything else has to be purchased. To some extent flying is a luxury and most will pay for that experience but Frontier was not luxurious and I will avoid flying Frontier in the future."

This wasn't a big deal, but there was clearly something wrong with the company technology where she was not able to see on her end that I had paid."
Cons: "Frontier used to be a decent airline, now it's clear that you all are nickel and diming passengers, and the quality of everything is much cheaper. Seats cheaper, tray tables cheap, and so forth. The tray tables are so small they can't hold anything (which was disappointing because I had work to do). It's crazy that you all are charging for drinks other than water. Not a big deal, I get that the models are changing. I just likely will not fly Frontier again unless I must. You all should take more pride in providing a comfortable and warm environment for passengers."

The cabin was too warm and vented air was insufficient to make up for this. 3. after landing from a 3 hour flight we sat on the runway for almost an hour before being allowed to proceed to the gate and unload. 4. The departure terminal has insufficient amenities to support a 3 hour flight where no food or beverage is provided."

Cons: "Frontier performed the classic cheap fair approach to lure me in and then tried to nickel and dime me for everything. The most shocking discovery was I couldn't check in online without paying an extra $13 per leg ($26 total) just to sit in a seat. Then when I checked in at the counter they informed me I could check in free in person, but in that case I would have to fly standby. Who does that to people!? Anyways, it got worse. They wanted to charge me for a carryon, for a juice, no treats not even peanuts without having to pay, truly a disgraceful service ensued. This will be my last flight with Frontier most likely unless I am desperate and some plague has hit my city and they are the last functioning airline out."

I fortunately I noticed when shecking in and prepaid for a checked bag. Which strangly is the less expensive option. I have flown Frontier several times and this is a newer policy. I always remind myself after a Frontier flight that I will not fly with them again but their low fares keep luring me back. But no more . This is a deal breaker for me. I can pay a little more for my flight and get a free carry on and a drink! I also did not appreciate having to BUY a seat assignment."

The terminal for frontier at DCA was a tiny area of a giant cluster! No seating, not sure which folks were boarding for which flight. My frontier desk printed boardin pass said my flight was at 5 (normal time) when I had already been notified that it was delayed an hour, which. Turned into an hour and fourty minutes. I paid 15 or 20 for a better seat 5c and had a ridiculous excuse for a tray table, less room than any flight I've ever been on and uncomfortable seats. Neither pilot not flight attendants apologized for inconvenience and then I got an email that offers me a $100 voucher for another flight. Great, now I can use your airline and only pay for my seat and carry on bag! There are more frustrations but I'll give them to you if I ever have any contact. I'm not writing it all down and wasting more of my time on your unorganized airline."

I travel light- usually less than 30#, but I can't get that in my purse. *One hour + delay from Denver to DC with a computer problem on our plane. * Boy, are those planes every crowded! I'm not expecting a LazyBoy, but this was almost a plastic folding chair.--Why not set us up a few more inches and let us put a carry-on under the plastic seat?"
