Also by fortunate luck I had the chance to sleep as the next three seats to me were all empty in the middle block, which made the whole trip less exhaustive."

Entertainment choices could be improved by more recent movies. There were very few selection."

Cons: "I arrived a bit late to the airport. 5:15pm for a 6:05p for an international flight. I realize It is very late. I was delayed by donald trump protestors blocking the highway (not your fault). Dulles was a ghost town ( abnormally slow). All I had was carry-on. They said they closed the flight. They quoted me at $1800 for a one way ticket directly from Lufthansa. The original round trip was $900. I declined, sat down for 15 min booked another Lufthansa flight online for $800, checked in and was through security by 5:50. Just in time for my original flights last call. I could have made it easily. Boooo Lufthansa booo."

Overall mediocre but hey - Cheap fares, you get what you pay for."

Pros: "The flight was delayed two hours. I flew them 10 years ago and thought their seervice rivaled the Asian airlines. Now their service and seat comfort is near the cellar dwellars. The premium coach seat I paid extra for was the narrowest coach seat I have ever had the misfortune to sit in. I am a small man. 5'*8" 165lbs. The normal sized man next to me and I had to sit with our elbows pinned to our ribs. Eight hours of hell. I also had a totally irritating woman from syria behind me. She pushed and banged on my seat back the entire 8 hours. She had to have her loud mouth yapping most of the flight. That was the worse experience I have had flying. Also the attendents didnt care about me. I had to ask for tea. Had to ask three times as they were waalking off"

Cons: "flight was late, check-in people were mean and angry to everyone, instead of serving the food straight away since the overnight flight was delaed and then quickly turning the lights off, they waited until 3 hours in to serve food, which meant they didnt turn the lights off until well into the night and only gave us a couple hours to sleep. there were no new movies on board except for batman vs. superman. food tasted weird even for airplane standards. pretty bad overall. i've had better experience with virgin, united, or air france."

The seat I was assigned was also more narrow than the one my wife was assigned. I am tall, and could not move my legs for the trip. Also, the seat controls were on the inside is the seat. I could not move at all without turning on the overhead light or screen."

It turned out to not be comfort seat, in fact it was the last row in the airplane. Had to get eh gate agent back, which was not fast. She said flight was full and a family had been spread out. I understand, but you can't just bump me from a paid and selected seat to a standard seat, especially on transatlantic flight after paying $140 extra. There was no apology. She went back to gate and little while later came back with a comfort seat. Some people seem not to have shown up as the seat next to me stayed open as well. It was very poorly handled."

The movie selection was unexpectedly good, as was the music section. Books were meh."

Pros: "Lufthansa's newest 747-8 airliner was quite the treat for international flight. 100% LED lights with subtle purple-blue mood lighting overnight looks pretty and mimics Virgin's design. Dozens of movies to choose from in addition to many more entertainmrnent options in the widescreen touchscreens. And actual silverware for food, even in economy. The addition of Premier Economy (wider and longer seats) copies the design from United's Economy Plus, at the expense of regular economy's legroom (I believe). Note: if you have noise canceling earphones or headphones like myself, get the 2-jack airline adapter. Lufthansa uses the proprietary dual-jack, at least in economy."

Pros: "Our connecting flight was cancelled due to weather. That is truly out of the airline’s control. What is in their control is communicating the status of the flight with us. When we checked in they took email addresses and cell phone numbers for status updates. We never received any updates. Consequently we didn’t know the flight had been cancelled until it was too late to make an adequate adjustment. On top of that we had to deal with the worst customer service rep in the world at the ticket booth when we struggled to make alternate plans. Completely unsatisfactory experience."

Cons: "Flight back was OK but flight to Orlando was not. Travelling with s 94 yr old man in a wheelchair. Everything at Pearson is not conduscent to travel with a handicapped person. Poor layout, poor assistance, non caring people, long distances,, and final straw was air canada started boarding without calling for handicapped first. We had to stop them and then fight our way up the aisle with people all in the way. Terrible, just lousey. 3 and a half hours before flight we arrived and didn't even have a chance to get some lunch before flight. I give Toronto and air Canada the worst possible rating of any airport or airline I've ever dealt with. John O"Hearn"

Had to rush through everything else. Crew was unhelpful for those of worried about missing our connecting flights since the plane was late: those on board said they had no way to know and to ask the gate agent when we landed, the gate agent scoffed at us saying they had no way to know. I've been on flights where the crew kindly gave out connection information, so this is lazy on Air Canada's part."

I just would have been a problem for someone else. The steward made me feel as though I was at fault because I should have payed the extra 100 to have emergency exit seating, they tried to get me to sit in the very back row of the plain and sit sideways across the two seats which means I would not be able to sit next to my fiancé. The whole thing was embarrassing and very rude, maybe people of 6'6" should be charged for emergency exit!!"

Never I will no longer use AirCanada small planes !"

Cons: "My trip was suppose to have two stops from Saint John to Louisville (one in Toronto and one in Chicago) but instead it ended up being a one stop flight from Saint John to Toronto to Cincinnati because I had to change my whole itinerary due to delays in air canada flights that caused me to miss my other connections. This made me to fly into an entirely different city and have my reception drive to get me for the only other option I was told by an air Canada representative was to take the delayed flight and miss my last connection and overnight Chicago (one of my original connections) and then fly to Louisville the next morning. This was not something I planned on doing and didn't have the time to do so had to find an alternative arrangement to get me close to where I needed to be. The first flight I was on from Saint John to Toronto was also delayed causing the flight to be late upon arrival at the Toronto airport. Not only that but then had to wait in line at the customs center for over an hour for only one customs officer was there to clear over 100+ passengers. Even if my other flights were on time I would have missed them due to the delays all around. Over all I was very displeased with how the day progressed, how I wasn't given much help from the air canada representatives at the airport other than them saying "there's nothing we can do" and for how the day continued to get worse with delays and problems all linked to air Canada."

Hotel sent me back to airport because i didn't have voucher which AIr Canada guys said they can't make one? Everything didn't make sense. And they told me not to come again. They took like... whole day to book another flight. And i had hard time understanding what they were saying."

The problem was solvable with some simple rebooking, but the ground,crew failed to assist, then the flight crew, when we finally left five hours late, was Impersonable, unhelpful, uninformed, and utterly unprepared. It was a terrible, second rate, poor quality experience and I would not recommend Air Canada to anyone. Your airline needs serious training in Professionalism and responsiveness."

I reached the airport and on being checked at the counter, I was told that I cannot board because I don't have a Canadian visa. It was shocking to learn that I needed visa for a 1.5 hour layover. The website should give a prompt or should share the requirements. And all my ticket money got wasted."

I kept getting emails of a change in schedule, but no reason was given by personnel at the gate.
