SAS does not care if you have flown on another transatlantic carrier, which allows more than 8 kg. Then you need to start emptying your hand luggage at checkin. The whole checkin process was a big mess, the contract employees eg. at Heathrow do not help much (they probably do not do this to any other airline). SAS staff does not remind you to take your IDs and passport, medications etc. from your hand luggage, which is then checkedin luggage as opposed to hand luggage. It is obvious that transatlantic passengers have more hand luggage than many local passengers."

I eventually found out (after frantic googling) that Kayak auto-generates an email address for you as part of the Ryanair booking process, and this is the one you need. I spent about 30 mins getting through to LM.Com overseas helpdesk trying to get hold of it. I also had to request hold baggage as a separate process and it took 10 days to confirm this had been arranged (again, I would have had to pay extra at the airport)."

This makes NO SENSE and requires that you retrieve your luggage from baggage claim, and then check in once more and then another trip through security once again! This never happens in the US - one of the few things we get right. Also, I have never had to board a plan from the tarmac since 1970 in the US - why do we have to always wait for and take buses from our check in gate out to the flight line? And how is this ever considered, "Premium Boarding?" It's like a cattle car. Fix these things and I will sing the praises of TAP forever."

Cons: "Huge delay. No clear explanation what caused the delay"

Pros: "Of no change is BULLSHIT"

Cons: "Baggage fees were unacceptable. All but one of my group of 12 had to pay and we were not told why. It was not clear that this should have been done via the website prior to the flight and why is it significantly cheaper online? Very disappointing."

Pros: "On time, excellent food"
Cons: "Business barely distinguishable from economy, except for the food which was excellent"

Pros: "Boarding was easy, fast and efficient. Crew were friendly and welcoming. Complimentary snacks were welcome and nice."

Pros: "New plane. Seats ok"
Cons: "Very long wait for boarding. Overcrowding of bus. Food insufficient and mediocre though business class"

Pros: "The crew was very nice I have to give them credit for that and the entertainment was pretty good with recent movies"
Cons: "The food was really bad very unappetizing. The thing that was really bad is a day sprayed pesticides there out the plane before we took off and I feel like I have a cold now because of it my throat is really sore it's just a really weird thing to do to have the whole crew walking up and down with aerosol can spraying pesticides all over the guests."

Pros: "The flight was very quick but pre boarding process was too long.There was no beverage service on the flight."

Pros: "Nothing so far since I'm not in Miami yet but in.. Newark."
Cons: "Delay, horrible reschedule, missed flight due to a lack of time between departure and arrival, no communication, poor solutions, I had to pay for a hotel and food on my own. Goodbye TAP."

Pros: "Waited in an hour + 1/2 to check a bag, then waited an hour to board the plane. None of the employees told us what the delay was they just let us stand in line."

Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "They gave my 70-year old mother only a few hours notice that they were changing her one-stop four-hour 6AM flight into an 8AM multi stop 14-hour marathon. In fact, she was already asleep when they changed her flight, so she was already at the airport when she found out about the change. To do this to a 70-year old woman is reprehensible. Worse, after 2-hours with customer service, nobody there made any real attempt to remedy the situation or offer any compensation. Worst airline experience EVER."

Cons: "We were advised as we boarded that there would be no meal/snack service on the 3 hour flight. There was no time to purchase food at this time. It would have been good to have a big sign in the check in desk or a PA announcement so passengers could make alternate arrangements."

Pros: "I had a flight from Madrid --> Lisbon airport with a final connection from Lisbon --> NYC JFK and we were delayed in Madrid therefore arriving at boarding time of our other flight in Lisbon. The crew was so professional and prepared that when we landed in Lisbon there was a bus that brought about 25 of us who were connecting with final destination to JFK to the closest door to go through passport control and board onto our flight to JFK that they held for a good 30-45 minutes until all of us made our connection. Very professional and organized. Much appreciated that I didn't miss my final connection! Love flying TAP and will continue to do so!"

Pros: "The service they provided us reminded us of how airlines used to treat their customers in the past. From the customer service to the services provided and the legroom on the flight -- everything was more than what we expected and we would consider flying TAP Portugal again."

Pros: "Crew was welcoming and service was great!"

Cons: "Less meat in the food, please. I somehow missed the opportunity to request a vegetarian meal, but many other airlines offer at least one vegetarian entree option (e.g., pasta)."
