Thumbs up for KLM crew, planes and Schiphol Airport, though short on staff and a little late everything went smooth, including the flight.
New 737 and seats too confining
The flight from Rome to Ams was delayed. The flight from AMS to Moscow was missed. - We spent 2h in a linewaiting for the service desk to rebook the tickets - Then, we spend more than an hour to get the hotel - Then waiting for the shuttle another 30 minutes Unexpectedly poor and slow service. The next working day is ruined with the flight in the middle
Nice flight but from Entebbe to Amsterdam they didn’t get me what I requested for the baby.
Pros: "The crew were great! The seats are not that comfortable, it happened that I had 3 seats raw for myself but the armrests were not going up so I could not utilize them and lie down to sleep."
Pros: "The crew from Kili to DarEsSalam was tired. A fresh crew worked from DarEsSalam to AMS and they were great."

The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Food quality and meal menu
There is no option other than poor in the bad rating so I selected poor. I was really on Ai 104 from DC to Delhi. And Ai 544 from Delhi to HYD. 104 flight seat 18d where I sat for 14hrs was literally falling off at the base. I could lift entire cushion.from chair and I had adjust it whole flight. Service and food was mediocre which I could give benefit of doubt but entertainment system was down in many seats. My family includes 4 of us and we got 4 seats at different parts of flight and my kids are 5yr and 10yr old. Not just us but several other families got seats separate. And as if it’s not bad enough, I lost 3 out of 4 checked In luggages, which I personally checked out in delicious and checked back in for domestic flight. Interestingly I even got email message stating all 4 bags are loaded into the connecting flight but only one made it to Hyderabad. It can’t be any worse I guess but never know as I am still waiting for my lost luggage. Thought it would get better after Tata’s became owners but seems like air India became bad to worse.
The airline staff was very helpful especially priya - air hostess - she helped me with my cabin luggage & was very helpful.
Crew was good but limited supply of food and y. It is a long flight direct 15 hours. They should consider this. I have excellent service even in economic class in Emirate’s flight.
It is 2hr 5 min flight and didn’t expected any entertainment.

Cons: "Awful service! The air hosts/hostesses don't care about you if you traveling economy. This was a 16 hour flight but they didn't even offer water for 6-7 hours. I used my attendant button at least 12 times and no one came to my seat. I had to hunt them down and found all of them holed up in the back of the plan gossiping and laughing. Adding to this, their entertainment systems were faulty and didn't work half of the time I was on the plane. The sound quality may have been alright but the headphones that they provided gave a really muffled sound so it was really hard to understand. I tried to use my personal headphones but the entertainment system would only allow for Air India's "special" headphones. The food was mediocre and they served their meals in spurts. Within the first two hours of the plane taking off, they served us one meal. Then there was no food or water service for at least 8 more hours. Then they gave us a meal 4 hours before we were supposed to land and then again a heavy snack an hour later. So basically, we were left to fend for ourselves for 8 hours with no food or water. I am dreading the journey back from Delhi to Chicago now."

They did not provide blankets or cushion even the flight was almost 15 hours long.. when my dad asked the crew for blankets, they said we only got 25% and we do not have it. The food was horrible.. they even complained at the airport but no one cared.. over all very bad/worse experience they had.. so disappointed.."

The travelers were horrible as well. Many passengers were just not behaving well. Left toilet papers all over the floor. Toilet room was poorly maintained. No napkin towels to wipe our hands! Flimsy napkin (if you can call that!) for dinner. Generally, the worst flight experience that my wife and I have had! And, we fly a lot around the world!"

Need to improve on in flight announcements, get better on communication, service mannerisms, approach to customers, courteousness, etc. It was a good experience and would like Air India to get better and be great!"
