We were at the airport at 4:30am because the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:05am we were lucky to be able to rebook for a flight SDQ-ATL DL576 for the same day hoping to make the connection ATL-IND. Unfotunately that flight was rerouted to Charlotte due to bad weather conditions with a delay of 3 hrs before it landed in ATL thus missing our connection to INDI and had to sleep in ATL and leave the next day to IND thus missing a meeting commitment that we had in IND. We should and expect to be compensated by Delta for this."

When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

When my parents were checking in for flight they asked the representative about meal selection and she didn't answer their questions properly and because of that my mom didn't get proper Hindu Vegetarian food on flight instead she got Egg omelet which she couldn't eat. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

Cons: "There were 2 meal choices., one was chicken and one vegetarian curry/rice dish. Clearly the chicken would be the most sought after meal and the flight attendant even suggested the possibility that everyone would not get their first choice, and ofcourse they didn't. We had a group of 10 traveling and by the time some of,our group was served the chicken was gone. Our daughter was 7 months pregnant and was one who didn't get a chicken meal. I don't understand why the airline would not provide an adequate amount of meals that would apply to the masses. Only a few vegetarian to fill in for specific diets would be expected. We all felt this was poor planning on the part of the airline catering company.."

Cons: "this was the first time a I have traveled to the US and I was stranded at the Louisville airport after the flight diverted due to bad weather. I was offered no alternative transportation to Indianapolis. I was totally lost being in a strange city without support. finally I had to take a taxi which was very expensive"

Cons: "That this became an American Airlines flight after booking and no one from either airline contacted us to tell us. We couldn't find the Finnair flight anywhere and came to figure out that American was handling this flight."
Pros: "It left on time, the cabin crew were very nice, they kept us well fed. The pilot didn't hit any pot holes. No annoying children. We didn't realize that we would have to go thru US customs at the Dublin airport, That added another big chunk of time to reach the boarding gate. We made it with 20 minutes to spare. On the plus side, we could just breeze thru the US side and leave the airport."

Cons: "Boarding process was confusing and crowded. The seats were tight together in coach. My entertainment system didn't work, but the screen stayed a low glow. Food was unpleasant."

I had to be transported by an old unsafe looking bus to a separate terminal and had to climb up and down emergency stairs (not handicap friendly), also I have 2 roller bags I carry on to every flight I have ever taken without issue and they charged me $25 per bag to check because it was a "snug" fit into their dimension box. Also gave no snacks and only half can refreshments, no entertainment."

Pros: "They came around and offered drinks twice, and I asked for a cup full of ice and a cup of orange juice, and they provided it with a smile. Even though the flight was full, there was ample room for everyone's carry on luggage in the overhead compartments. Very pleasant flight overall"
Cons: "I was not unhappy with any part of the flight. Oh, one thing, the PA system was defective, so all you got was static and feedback, but they kept using it, even though you couldn't hear them at all."
Pros: "I was worried the economy seats would be cramped or uncomfortable. But that was not the case. We sat near the rear of plane and had more leg room than the bus we took from airport to home. The entire experience was good- a screen in front of each seat (movie tv, games), provided pillow and blanket for each seat (shielded in a sealed plastic bag), dinner, pretzels, ice cream and a snack of pizza roll and muffin about an hour before landing. Staff were polite and professional."
Cons: "I am afraid AA doesn't get the respect it deserves. We went to Ireland with a group of friends who traveled on another airline. They seemed to think the extra $350 each they paid for their RT tickets was a much better value. I can't see how it could have been better. We were pleased with the flight both ways. Good value, in my opinion. (By the way, I have no affiliation with AA what so ever)."

Cons: "I booked with Finnair, not expecting to fly with AA. I have had a number of bad experiences flying internationally with AA before, so was very disappointed to find out they were the carrier. The planes have improved ( which was great) but the food is still TERRIBLE! ( Long Haul flights with bad food, no matter how much of it you get will make for miserable passengers!) Also, AA reservation system somehow mixed up my information and my partners info resulting in us not being able to check in online before hand/ pick seats together. Ground staff were not understanding; there only comment was we SHOULD have check in on line ( ? we couldn't!) They also told us it was our responsibility to ask other passengers if they would swap so we could sit together. Not very helpful or understanding especially since we were on the same booking and AA was responsible for the mix up"
Cons: "Check-in Kiosk wasn't functioning correctly and didn't read my CC correctly when paying for my luggage. I went to the counter and was told my CC wasn't charged, and the lady told me she could not help me. She informed me to go upstairs to the "Resolutions" desk. I went to the "Resolutions" desk and waited about 30 minutes in a long line. I got to the counter and after 15 minutes, the clerk swiped my CC again for my 1 bag I needed to check. I asked for a receipt and I was told the printer doesn't work. The clerk proceeded to get a manager and 10 minutes later, I received a receipt. The majority of the staff seemed to be incompetent. After checking my online banking transactions a few days later, I noticed my CC was charged twice. My gate had already been changed twice and flight was delayed. I went through TSA and then found out the gate was changed AGAIN for the third time in less than 2 hours. This time it was at a DIFFERENT terminal. I was thinking I was going to have to go through TSA again, but luckily I decided to ask and found out there was a shuttle which I struggled to find. The flight then was further delayed another 45 minutes. We finally boarded the plane and sat in the plane for another 1 hour before it took off due to delays. Not to mention it was an old plane which was the most uncomfortable I've ever been on. What a nightmare."

Pros: "wasn't lufthansa, I purchased a Lufthansa ticket but was really a United flight. very cramped seats. bad food, and service. the person next to me fell asleep and when he woke they had taken the food off his tray table, he then went back to ask for food and they rudely said no. there were tv's so that is a plus. will be more careful booking next time"

I understand it but it sounded really bad. Not welcoming at all. Will avoid United in the future."

Pros: "It was a very comfortable flight with a window seat which I prefer. Service was extremely good from checkin to boarding to the onboard crew who looked after us well the whole flight. I actually thought all the food options were very tasty and portions acceptable. We even got in half an hour earlier which was a bonus."
Cons: "The trip to Dublin two weeks or so before was not as comfortable as I was assigned a seat in the very last row on the aisle which meant that even if I was able to fall asleep, I would have been jostled repeatedly by people using the lavatories in the back of the plane. Also those seats do not fully recline and if they are going to charge more for other seats in the plane, then they should be charging less for those seats which offer less space and on the aisles, unintended bumping by fellow passengers walking through tight aisles."

Cons: "Luggage Lost on 4 Apr after I came to my destination Indianapolis. I reported my lost luggage on the same day at Airport at United airlines office. Its been 10 days and no one has followed up yet on my lost luggage. I have to call United Airlines Customer Care everyday to get a status on my report. No follow up is made on the lost luggage. They have asked to file claim which will also take 8-10 weeks to process. All these experiences has made me and my friends not to prefer United Airlines for Travel."
