Students with an F-1 or M-1 visa and their F-2 and M-2 dependents, if they arrive from or have been in Ireland, the UK or Schengen Area in the past 14 days.
Travelers returning to the US are advised to stay home as much as possible, avoid being around people and consider getting tested for COVID-19 after returning from travel and participated in higher risk activities.

We told the woman to tell her kids to stop but all she said was “they are a child” when all they needed to do was just tell their kid to stop. Flight attendants saw and knew but I don’t know what they could do to help when they can’t help with bad parenting. I wish there was a clear way to upgrade to first class on a trip as it was difficult to find out how."

Cons: "I was denied boarding on the Dublin to Munich leg of my connecting flight from Newark to Munich. My ticket was booked through Lufthansa, but the transatlantic leg of my trip was operated by United. When checking in with United in Newark, I received two boarding passes, one for each leg of the trip. I arrived on time in Dublin for my flight to Munich and tried to board the plane for Munich with the boarding pass I had printed in Newark. After scanning my ticket, the Lufthansa employees at the gate informed me that they had no record of me or my plane ticket in their system. I showed them the email confirmation for my ticket, but they still could not find any record of my ticket in their online system. The employees seemed more concerned with boarding all passengers as quickly as possible than assisting me. After being denied boarding, I had to go back through passport control to change my flight, and ended up getting to Munich nearly 6 hours behind schedule and missed an entire day of vacation. A Lufthansa employee told me that out of every partner in the STAR alliance, United is the ONLY airline they have had this problem with. I find this inexcusable, I will be AVOIDING ANY United/Lufthansa connecting flight from now on."

Cons: "Flight from Munich to Charlotte: I do not fly that frequently (just only about 1 or 2 times per year - usually with Lufthansa) so I had no idea that as an Economy class passenger I cannot use the Business class bathroom. I admit my mistake for violating this etiquette. There was no line formed so I just used it, but as I was leaving the toilet a stewardess grabbed my arm and sternly made me aware of my trespassing. She was very professional and I believe it was not her intention; however, she made me feel very stupid for not realizing that the Business class toiled is for the Business class customers only. Don't get me wrong, if I paid premium for my fare I would probably expect less crowded toilets too. In my opinion, this unwritten rule should be made more explicit to the Economy class passengers, as nobody likes to feel embarrassed by mistakenly wandering into an exclusive club they don't belong to. I know there are separating curtains, but they were open. I saw a line forming in the Economy section so my next instinct was to go a different direction, which led me to the Business section. I really needed to use the bathroom, so I did not think of the proper etiquette at the moment."

Pros: "Flying from San Francisco to Madrid via Munich in economy class. All very good in general, in fact the best experience compared with other airlines I have used in the past for the same trip. Vegetarian meal was good, but only on the long leg. Munich to Madrid was not possible to choose the special meal, but that is not that important for me, so I eat what I could and that was good enough. The crew was super nice. The plane is huge, toilets are literally 'downstairs' and extra room to hang out. I will definitely choose Lufthansa again for my trips to Europe."

Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

I don't understand why the airline would not provide an adequate amount of meals that would apply to the masses. Only a few vegetarian to fill in for specific diets would be expected. We all felt this was poor planning on the part of the airline catering company.."

Pros: "I was worried the economy seats would be cramped or uncomfortable. But that was not the case. We sat near the rear of plane and had more leg room than the bus we took from airport to home. The entire experience was good- a screen in front of each seat (movie tv, games), provided pillow and blanket for each seat (shielded in a sealed plastic bag), dinner, pretzels, ice cream and a snack of pizza roll and muffin about an hour before landing. Staff were polite and professional."

They seemed to think the extra $350 each they paid for their RT tickets was a much better value. I can't see how it could have been better. We were pleased with the flight both ways.
