Crew was amazing and we got fed so often. The movie choices were good.
I wish I could have ordered a drink (pay or otherwise) from the tv in front of me
We liked everything about our Virgin Atlantic flight. They could not have been more helpful from the time we got our Boarding passes in London until we got off the plane in Washington DC.
There was nothing to dislike on this part of our trip with Virgin Atlantic.
The ground staff was on top of it and the boarding process was smooth, but the cabin crew was brilliant. I’ve never had such pleasant service on a western airline. Well done. Entertainment system is top-notch, and the food was acceptable.
The booking process and paying for luggage is disappointing. Plus, I paid a $90 upgrade and just moved up two rows in the same section. Sneaky.
Crew were friendly and courteous
Poor drink selection. Food mediocre. I felt like I was in the living room of the Beverley Hillbillies. Loud people, dressed like slobs. No manners
Virgin Atlantic offers good service at a reasonable price to/from the US to London. Good food service and unbelieveable number of movies and entertainment to choose from.
The seating and leg room in economy classic were inadequate. We felt way too confined in our seats and the leg room was a joke. I am only 6' tall and this was unacceptable. We will try to upgrade for the return trip.
The food wasn’t good and it would be great if they had pasta or some vegetarian option.
The crew is excellent. Very friendly, professional, and helpful. Both on board and at the desk inside the airport. They listen to your needs and respond the best they can. Seats are comfortable enough for Economy. Good selection of movies to watch. The flight was on time and arrived even a little earlier than expected.
The food was filling, but not particularly tasty. For those seated toward the back, there was no choice. Although maybe there was no choice to begin with. Normally, on international flights, for the first (bigger) meal at least, you are given two choices, such as meat or vegetarian, beef or chicken. The food itself wasn't great. The salad was below average on both flight, from and to Chicago. So was the desert. Drinks are offered once with each meal in very small glasses. Although there is a bottle of water from the start.
The transfer was too complicated, long distance to walk, security check line, not enough time for transfer, had to run to catch the next flight
The flight was not crowded and that was a nice surprise for a transatlantic flight. Each passenger was offered a personal bottle of water upon boarding, cabin crew was very nice and professional. The flight was on time and we arrived at the airport of destination even ahead of time!
There was no soap in the toilet...
Good airline teamed up with crappy American brings them down. Don't waste money!!
The flight felt so short, service was amazing, food was good. Great overall experience.

The flight crew was phenomenal, especially Daniella. Somehow we wound up with seats right next to the bathroom door, which would have been a pretty uncomfortable situation for a variety of reasons, but the flight wasn't full, and she helped us find a suitable place to sit. Also, my wife and I usually take our tea with honey vs. milk and sugar. Even though honey is usually one of the options for tea, she found a way to accommodate our request. The lunch meals were the best I can remember in a long time on an airline flight. They might have been the best I've ever had. The chicken curry was authentic, flavorful and spicy. Frankly my outbound flight had problems. My luggage got damaged. The transfer experience in Manchester left a LOT to be desired. I wasn't planning to use Virgin Atlantic again, but this flight crew (Daniella especially) redeemed Virgin Atlantic. They were attentive, pleasant, diligent.
Only thing I didn't like about this flight was the boarding area. Once you get into that the area, you don't really have access to appetizing food (only vending machines) or even restrooms. That's one thing that could be improved.
