Pros: "Crew were attentive and courteous."
Cons: "Arriving in New Orleans was chaotic. The airport was fresh off renovations. FAIL! Reader boards for baggage claim were inoperative, so no one understood where their bags might come out. After an hour, we found ours and made our way towards what used to be rental car check in. Found there was now a shuttle bus system to get to rental counters, but waited in line outside with our three bags for 30+ minutes just to get on the shuttle. After a 15-minute ride, we finally arrived at the old rental check in/garage area. Bottom line, it took over two hours from arrival to finally being able to leave the airport."

I paid for premium plus seating which was spacious but the guy in the aisle seat had a brace on his shattered knee so getting in and out to use the bathroom was still an ordeal--should have saved myself the $50. When we arrived in Tampa their was an issue with aligning the jetway to the plane's door--we stood around for 10 minutes waiting for that to be resolved before we deplaned."

At one point he had the cat out on His lap petting it... I was waken from my sleep with my eyes swollen shut and sneezing. you will see other complaints about this flight... As for me, I want my upgrade refunded. I did not eat, I did not watch movies.... I did not get to enjoy my flight."

We arrived at the gate 8 minutes before the flight departure time also. The flight attendant on the flight from Fayetteville just handed out water and cookies without asking what you wanted. She had coffee and snack mix but didn’t ask anyone, just handed them what they got. Overall I was very disappointed in the flight from Fayetteville, NC to Atlanta and with the gate agents at the Atlanta airport. I usually expect more from delta. They didn’t offer vouchers to make up for the missed connection or offer to pay for a hotel since the next flight out was the next morning."

Unfortunately, the only vegan option ran out just before my seat, but I was still amazed and pleased....and have ordered a vegan meal in advance for my next flight. Incredible! Plus, plenty of room for bags, good video selections, and power at all seats. I love Delta and will fly them more often!"

Pros: "The one good thing about this unexplained ordeal (the flight was delayed for 5 hours, causing me to miss my connection) was that, after a few hours of hearing nothing (no emails or texts from Delta), I finally saw some options for different flights pop up, so I was able to book a new flight without calling India. Also, I got an exit row seat on my new flight to MSP."

The only reason I knew about the delay and gate changes was because of Kayak! I know I am signed up to receive texts and emails from them, but I guess they forgot to notify me."

When Delta was able to fix the changes in Sydney Australia they put my husbands ticket as a standby instead of putting him in an assigned seat and reported that they couldn't fix it that we would have to wait and get to LAX before the changes could be made again. There was a one and a half hour flight delay from LAX to Seattle. From Sydney Australia to LAX entertainment system didn't work the whole entire flight, they were screaming children the entire flight, and Delta had double booked seats on several different people. There were no apologies and no compensation for any of the incidences."

Cons: "AA needs to standardize their WiFi. Sometimes it is boingo, GoGo, or Panasonic or something other. Each has a different way of logging in. It is way too complicated. Sometimes you can watch on the iPad in a browser, other times you need a flash player or the AA app. Have a common way of at least accessing the internet, otherwise it can take 10 minutes to log in if switching from a GoGo yo Panasonic service. It is just too difficult and buggy. I am glad I don’t actually pay for the internet."

Then when we ask about changing to a different flight they told us that the original flight we were supposed to be on (that we booked over 8 months ago) was completely full so that’s why we were moved, and there were no other flights available to switch to. So we accepted that. But when we printed our boarding passes, we saw that our seats were now separate from each other, and they were both middle seats! I don’t understand how booking my tickets so far in advance still resulted in these issues. We were finally able to get an aisle and window seat (not near each other) but both flights had poor to little entertainment, which I wouldn’t have expected on such long flights with American Airlines. Really was letdown. :("

I rebooked into West Palm Beach to drive to Fort Myers and my bag stayed in Charlotte even though there was ANOTHER 45 minute delay to change a tire on the plane. If I practiced medicine the way the airline handled customers, I'd kill every third patient!"

Cons: "American (Alaska was a code share) did not tell us which terminal this flight left from. It was a sattelight terminal which required a long slow bus ride. Carrying luggage up and down stairs. The deplaning experience was such I would avoid the only nonstop to our destination."

Cons: "I reserved an aisle seat but somehow was assigned a window seat when I checked in. Sat next to a very large man and now my back and neck hurt from being cramped next to the side of a curved fuselage."

Cons: "The value of first class in relation to how much more it costs is way out of proportion. It's not worth the extra money. Again, why even ask about entertainment? Over a four hour flight with no movie or music unless provided by yourself is complete and utter bullshit. Again, the available free wifi is bullshit."

Cons: "This was a red-eye from Costa Rica to Chicago. I sat in the very back row, so I really felt the turbulence back there. But I had no chance of sleeping through it because my seat would not lean back; in fact it was so far upright that I was almost leaning forward. I can normally sleep on any flight but this was like sitting in a tiny cage designed to prevent me from finding any remotely comfortable position or getting any rest at all. They should not be allowed to sell a seat like this."

Cons: "When we got to Denver there was no one to help William off the plane. We even called ahead of time to make sure someone would be there with a wheelchair. The captain of the plane had to help him off the plane. It was so sad. William was so embarrassed. When it was time to board still no wheelchair. He had to struggle to get back on."

Pros: "The pilots were informative with their announcements and we were informed of turbulence before it started. We also got in ahead of schedule. I also appreciated being able to ask for a glass of water between services as I had fallen asleep."
Cons: "The negative experiences started before we got on the plane. Boarding began slightly behind schedule and was very disorganized. People were all standing in the boarding area and out into the walkway for the concourse. I feel it would be better to have boarding groups come up individually or two at a time. (While group one boards, group two convenes. Once group one has boarded, invite group three to take their place.) Once group three had boarded, an announcement was made that there was no overhead bin space availble for the entirety of group 4. It seems a bit ridiculous that nearly half the plane wouldn’t have overhead space. It took awhile to board group 4 as everyone had luggage to check and once we finally got down the jetway, we had to wait another few minutes before being able to get to our seats as the flight attendant for first class insisted on taking drink orders while she stood in the aisle. I understand this is a perk of first class but I feel it could be better executed. These seats are boarded in group one so to have drink orders incomplete by the time group four is trying to board is irritating at best and incompetent at worst. Once finally at our seats, it became apparent that the announcement about lack of overhead bin space had been made a bit early. The bins were on the full side but they definitely had space available. Also, much of the space had been taken up by jackets and bags that would have fit under the seats; which I felt could have prevented nearly all of the checked bags. The flight was uneventful with minor annoyances like having to pay for entertainment and any sort of food. Even southwest provides entertainment free of charge and I consider them to be more of a budget airline. If I fly Lufthansa again, I will not take a domestic flight through United and will instead book via southwest to and from the international airport Lufthansa flies out of."

It seemed they knew the that this flight would not take off because they sent my bags ahead on the earlier flight but left me waiting for 5 hours. before the cancellation. This was not a Kayak issue but a United"

Cons: "items missing from an outer pocket of my checked suitcase which was absolutely closed when it was given to baggage originally. Airport absolutely useless when I explained the problem."

Cons: "Although I purchased my ticket more than four months prior, due to some complication or miscommunication between SAS and US Air, my seat had been filled and someone had to be "bought off the plane" with a voucher and better seat. If someone wouldn't have taken the offer, I would have missed all of my flight waiting on a new connection."
