Pros: "My trip had two legs, Austin to Heathrow and Heathrow to Riyadh. The crew from Heathrow to Riyadh were great. I wish I could say the same about the crew from Austin to Heathrow."
Cons: "Overall, the flight was fine. My comments are relative to BA 1st class. At best, I would rate it in the middle of the business class flights I've flown on other airlines. There is nothing about the experience that is actually 1st class from a separate lounge, to boarding, to in flight meals. The seats on my planes were worse than Turkish Airlines Business class (among many others). Storage around the seat is also FAR worse than other airlines products,even in business class. I had taken the same flights in November and 95-98% of the entertainment options were the same. There were, maybe, 2 new movies and 2-3 new documentaries/TV shows. The in seat charger only worked on one leg. Several meal options were "sold out." Mediocre at best."

No wifi even in Business class! Someone in senior management of BA needs to fly SQ, Cathay, Qatar, Emirates and learn what can be improved. Most of these airlines have better service in economy than business on BA!"

Pros: "Checking in online 24 hours prior to departure I received up-dates thrice regarding the delay of the flight which was very convenient. I had also learned about the protections that I enjoy as a passenger checking in online. The flight caught up in terms of timing as I had to catch a connecting flight to the continent from London. I was very pleased, also with the courteous flight attendents, the food, the entertainment selection and sufficient leg room in economy class. Overall a lovely experience, indeed!"

The other one couldn't even say thank you when I did her job by bringing my garbage to her station. It was my first BA flight and I was not expecting those unfriendly attitude from british people."

Here is a list - * I was able to check-in online but my husband was not and kept receiving error messages (no big deal) * Upon arrival at the check-in counter, the line was incredibly long. I understand this happens but of the employees working, only 2 were checking in bags and 3 others were just standing there chatting and talking into walky talkies. * Flight from Rome to Heathrow was late for no apparent reason, landed 45 minutes prior to our connection flight. I inquired with our flight attendant about the potential to make boarding and he said they would let us know. We landed on the tarmac and had to be bussed to the terminal. Not once after we landed did the flight crew mention one word about connecting flights. Never have I had that experience in 44 years. Additionally, there was no direction regarding priority for boarding the busses. When we finally entered the terminal, an airline employee displayed a sign calling for passengers connecting on a flight to San Diego which was taking off just 10 minutes after ours to San Jose. A choice few of these folks were driven over to their boarding gate while many of us were left behind. * When we made it the recommended "Fastrack Express" the attendant informed us that we had already been cancelled out of our connecting flight to San Jose (this was 30 minutes before take off)! We were directed to go wait in line to re-book our flights. * After an hour in line we learned that the couple behind us had already been re-booked onto that evening flight to SJ, which would have been the next out. I wonder how that happens when you are further behind in line? After waiting 4.5 hours in line. We were told that and approximately 3 other convenient flights which would have been a possibility were no longer available since we had been made to wait for so long. There were no places to sit, no numbering system, we did not eat at all that day until 11pm and that was after waiting another 45 minutes to get our passports stamped and then stupid bus ride. *We were forced to miss hosting my best friend's baby shower the next morning. We were sent on an hour long bus trip to another airport in Gatwick to sleep in a hotel for 6 hours and then return bus trip back to Heathrow only to fly into an airport which is an hour away from our home as as opposed to 10 minutes. *Not once in all that time did a manager come out and let customers know the cause of the inconvenience. The window service to re-book was haughty and entitled, rather than thoughtful and efficient. I was insulted by the lack of customer service, the shoddy organization, communication and lack common sense. The only saving grace was that they booked us on a different airline for our return flight where we received decent service. We incurred extra charges due to the change in arrival location - all around failure on British Airways. Not happy at all."

However, upon checking in, we found that the seats were not reserved and the fee was a marketing ploy. The airline attempted to separate our family of 3, but luckily it was not a full flight and we were able to sit together with no help from Kayak, JustFly, British Airways, or American. Kayak/JustFly made the experience of traveling overseas with a baby more challenging than it otherwise would have been which is a terrible way to conduct business. We will never be using these services again and will tell family and friends to do the same."

Cons: "We booked a round-trip flight on AA from Philadelphia to Dublin. Due to changes in our travel plans we revised our flight dates. The phone customer service rep who helped me make the changes, assured me that the AA policy was to group families together after she informed me that I could not choose our seat assignments at that time. Arriving at the Philadelphia airport, we used the self service kiosk to check-in. The issued boarding passes put my wife and me in different rows on one side of the plane, and our nine year old son on the other. I asked a roving AA customer service rep if it would be possible to change our seat assignments and explained what we were told when rebooking. She waved vaguely in the direction of the baggage counter, and told us we could change our seats when checking our baggage. We brought out baggage to the counter and informed the customer service rep working there what we were told by the kiosk and phone representatives. She immediately yelled at us and told us to calm down, even though we were merely asking and explaining. Each time we attempted to explain our situation or ask where we could seek assistance, she bristled. Finally, she told us we should go to the main check-in counter because she could not change seat assignments. The check-in counter rep was very brusque. She said she could not change anything because we had boarding passes and should accept the locations because it was an international flight; however we could ask at the gate if changes could be made. At the gate, service was provided for three flights - Dublin, London, and Manchester(?). We stood briefly in line and were motioned up to a desk for the London flight. I informed the customer service rep that we were travelling to Dublin, and what we were told by the previous AA representatives. Without checking to see if was possible to seat the three of us together, he told us that he could only put my wife and son together. Somewhat relieved, we asked him to revise their seat locations. He made the changes and handed us our new boarding passes. As we walked away from the counter, I noticed that the new boarding passes were for the London flight and did not have my wife's or son's names. We returned to the counter and told him that there had been mistakes made. He immediately snatched the passes from us and berated us for not telling him that we were not going to London. I told him that we had told him of our destination as soon as we approached the counter. He retrieved our original passes from the trash and told us to wait for the Dublin flight reps to arrive. Immediately, I called the AA toll-free number and informed the phone agent of all that had happened. She was able to locate two seats together for my wife and son, and told me to inform the gate reps of the information. Because of character limitations I cannot tell of the counter rep who was an angel and managed to seat the three of us together. Thank you!!!"

Cons: "When we arrived to Chicago we discovered that the airline had tried to "fix" out connecting flight and in the process I was accidentally removed from the same flight as my husband and we were both forced to take detours through London since we had missed our direct flight. Our checked baggage was lost for 2 days. The London airport has more strict rules for carry-on bags and liquids so much of our items were confiscated and the worst part of all was being told at the gate in Chicago that they didn't know why I was removed from the flight but that I would not be allowed to board because they couldn't reach anyone at the American Airlines desk. We pleaded for help for over an hour and were basically asked to sit down and be ignored. I was sobbing when my husband and I were separated and we were worried we might not find eachother in London or in our final destination of Dublin since we had no cell service."

I had to go to the gate to get a seat assignment and then even though my assigned seat was in the 10th row, I then had to line up in groups like Southwest and I guess my punishment for sitting in economy was to wait to board last. I felt like third class boarder on the Titanic. United has become less than a Greyhound bus. They will NEVER be my first choice again! It was HORRIFIC I will go to ANY other airlines before them. P.S. the service at the Houston counter were rude and awful except for Ms. Edwards"

I don't mind going without food for a flight but my husband had surgery die to diverticulitis and can only eat certain food. The flight attendant said that she was going to check if there is anything left in first class but it took for ever and I become impatient as the light were turned off and people were getting ready to sleep. So I switch on the light and another flight attendant came by. I explained the situation but she came back with the same Indian vegetarian dish we turned away. After more frustration and explanation the Stewart came with the. Hi Ken version. I gave my husband my share and he was able to finally take his medication and eat the chicken with the bread. I only ate the ice cream and had a glass of wine. Later on the first flight attendant who served us the meal came with a couple of oranges and a bag of chips. Saying she got this from first class. I kept the oranges and gave her back the chips. Floghing with United is very disappointing to put it mildly."

Pros: "The flight was not overbooked, there were no fights and there was plenty of space. Comfortable flight!"

Cons: "Over 4 hours of delays including on plane then everyone was kicked off. We waited more and they cancelled the whole flight and everyone had to scramble to get on anything available. I lost 28 hours of my vacation. They put us in a scary hotel in Chicago. I received a $200 voucher for further flights that doesn't even cover the cost of my unrefundable expenses such as car, hotel and tickets that were lost on my vacation."

Pros: "Entertainment was good"
Cons: "Flight delayed for 2.5 hours. Food at airport terminal specific to United ridiculously expensive, particularly for a family, e.g.. $8.50 for French fries, etc."

Pros: "We made it to Dublin..."
Cons: "Crew was terrible, grumpy and not welcoming. Boarding was terrible, 4 hours late. No compensation, little apology. Food was awful. Couldn't really tell what we were actually eating. Actually hated this flight."

Pros: "I loved the butternut squash pasta. I plan on making this recipe at home. The staff was also very pleasant and accommodating."
Cons: "My seat was uncomfortable and the person in front of me kept reclining. I had very little space to try and make myself comfortable. I am 110lbs, so I can't imagine how a larger person would feel."

Cons: "For an international flight, there should be more amenities like charger etc."

Pros: "Crew was very attentive"

Cons: "The crew kept coming around to give us snacks and drinks and "dinner". I thought we'd be left alone to sleep but we were not and the cabin lights were only off for about 2 hours on our 6 hour flight. It was an overnight flight so I assumed we would be able to just sleep but we were not."

Cons: "The plane was absolutely filthy. The window was had a coating a head grease and dirt. It was disgusting."

Cons: "Flight attendant on first flight rude overall to all passengers, second flight they were good. Not one complimentary television station."

Pros: "Flight crew in Dulles were very helpful in arranging for my daughter and I to sit together. Really appreciated their help."

Pros: "After being in the air for 4 hours without being able to connect to listen to anything, a gentleman flight attendant came to ask if I needed help. He then tried a couple different tools to try to help me. Nothing ended up working, but I appreciated him trying."
Cons: "Before the flight took off, I mentioned to a female flight attendant that there seemed to be something in the headphone jack and would like some assistance. She said that it wasn't the time to assist me with that (which I can understand), but she never came back to try to help. Once in the air, another women recognized that I couldn't connect and said she would be back. I am not sure if she forgot or if sent the gentleman flight attendant to assist, I felt like I wasn't heard at all."

Cons: "For a trans-Atlantic flight this was a very small plane with very tight seats. The bathrooms smelled throughout the plane. Many seat back TVs didrn't function."

Cons: "PA unreadable, entertainment screen broken, special allergy safe meal lost, luggage didn't transfer to next plane and we actually had to drive back to airport and get it 25 hours later loosing time on our trip,staff apathetic to everything! Will NEVER fly United again!"

Cons: "Took 30 hours to get to our destination on a trip with two kids. Out of the dozen people who we dealt with, only two were somewhat competent. It was the first time in my life I felt unsafe with a major carrier. Consistent problems on flights with mechanical issues and consistently unable to fix them. Then they offered a whopping $125 credit after we paid $4,000 for tickets only to spend two nights on airplanes and on a plane. It was so terrible, I still can't believe it. Time will not ease our frustration and disbelief. Fly with them at your peril."

Pros: "The plane and crew functioned well. From a purely technical stand-point the flight was a success, though it was delayed at Newark because the maintenance dept. took a good half hour to 45 minutes in transmitting its clearance to the captain."
Cons: "A lot of people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and dispositions were crammed into a comparatively small space. It was close and stuffy, very little space to stretch or move about when that was allowed. I'm not tall, but in terms of body mass I'm thicker and wider than many folks, but not obese, and my body thermostat tends to run on the warm side. So the flight was a bit of a physical and mental ordeal for me. The entertainment might have been great had my headphone port been operational. A previous passenger broke off the plug in the hole and the flight staff didn't have a pair of pliers on board to pull it out. Consequently, I was unable to listen to the media in-flight. Also, I couldn't recline my seat because the fussy older woman who sat behind me complained when I did, which made it difficult to snooze."

Pros: "Even though it was a long miserable flight with no entertainment at least the crew attempted to move me to another seat the plane was full so it was either stay where I was or go to a middle seat"
Cons: "Maintenance should be done especially on minor things like headphone jacks on Long flights passengers pay for those upgrades pretty frustrating when they do not work"

Pros: "Crew was great"
Cons: "Flight delayed Sat on runway for 30 min"
