The flight crew were very professional and were nice to us, because a lot of us were worried about making our flight. They kept us updated with all the changes. They had good entertainment selections. The pilot got us to our destination about 5 minutes early."

When I tried asked the stewardess if I could deplane with business because I was running late for my connecting flight, she said they no longer do that because passengers don't listen to them. Instead of trying, she juat said no. I felt like an inconvience to her, like it was my fault I didn't have enough time between my flights."

I chanced it on buying the wifi for $19 dollars which turned out to be super fast and I was able to stream movies. Meal and drinks and beer were included. But no way to charge your phone with out a car charger. This plane had no AC ports."

Hope the talked about law suit on this goes through this seating is unsafe. Plane we flew from Chicago to Grand Rapids was more comfortable and you could really see the difference in seat spacing and size."

"If you download the United app you can pay to stream movies." I hate United and I don't use that word often. I would much rather give praises than complaints. Pay extra for food, entertainment, emergency isle seats... not that the tickets didn't already cost me a fortune. Crew even gave me grief about hanging up my suit!?! I flew to Thailand recently for less than flying to Texas, and everything was included, comfortable, and FRIENDLY. NOT UNITED."

Pros: "The flight itself was fine. Check in at the airport with United was terrible. The United agent on duty (Sandra Mcelroy) was rude, slow to process us, extremely inattentive. She either didn't know how to or was unwilling to verify our infant in arms' ticket, check our baggage, or receive a cash payment for our checked bags after she sent us to the kiosk for a third time. She never greeted us and only addressed us when absolutely necessary but had plenty of time to talk with her coworkers. It took nearly an hour for her to process our check in. She actually made another customer cry."

The actual flight for this review is a different flight that I paid to get my friend on so could get home. He pretty much had an equally bad experience. The following is my review from my flight from San Diego to Lihue, through San Fransisco. I paid for both flights but wasn't offered the opportunity to submit a review for the flight I was on so I'm taking this opportunity now to do so. I was on a flight home after losing one of my best friends. The flight attendant was extremely rude, making me feel like she was going out of her way to get me a drink of water and never returned to offer food after they missed me when they went down the isle. The gentleman attending to the first class passengers was beyond rude to anyone attempting to use the lavatory near the first class section as if people were supposed to know that it was only available to first class passengers. I was never offered food and myself and other passengers repeatedly ignored by our flight attendant. The entire flight was freezing cold and the air blowing so loud that I couldn't hear any volume on the movie player I was watching, making that nearly impossible as well. I landed at my destination feeling cold and hungry with a pretty bad taste in my mouth towards United Airlines. I don't normally fly United but due to the untimely hospitalization of one of my best friends and having to fly on such short notice, it was all that was available. I used to be a united mileage member but my points expired and became useless to me, living in Hawaii with very few flights in and out of the state several years ago. They seem to have added flights since then but other airlines have won my loyalty since then. I was hoping for a better experience as I remember having better experiences flying United. After this recent experience, I'm not sure that I will be flying United again, especially given the price of fares and what you get for what you pay. You'd think the staff would be more welcoming knowing that people pay so much to fly and then pay for everything else once on the plane. (A comfortable seat, food, drink, etc)."
