Cons: "The delayed at the gate looking for passengers, could have been avoided by doing cross checks at the counter. The snacks need to change. For someone who flies every week like me, the cookies and cheeze it’s get old. Some variety will be awesome."

The employees at the check-in counter said my disabled wife and I were going to be separated even though we picked seating together when we bought our tickets. They told us my wife would be seated in row 2 and I would be in row 8, because we bought our tickets from a third party. Fortunately the flight crew said: "No, you two need to be together, we'll fix this." Then they seated us together. We are 75 years old and flying is a challenge for us, so we appreciate all the help we can get. Your flight crew was awesome with us, and with the children on our flight as well. Thank You Allegent Air Lines! 🙂
Pros: "This was my first time flying out of South Bend and I loved the smallness of the airport and the option to take a direct flight to Vegas to cost family. No long lines and crowds made it easy to social distance."
Cons: "I would have liked it the seat reclined slightly or had the adjustable headrest so my head wouldn't flop back and forth while I took a nap."

Finally after a long hold over the phone I reached an agent who explained the system was updating. Bad set up. Could have been communicated!"

I’m only 5’4”, I don’t require a lot of room, but my hips were killing me from lack of leg room. Can’t imagine what it’s like for taller people."

Cons: "Delay notification message did suggest calling the airlines to make change nor stating that I'll miss my connection in Frankfurt. I assumed I'll be missing it so I called Lufthansa to make changes. Their attempts to help took too much time, they did not look tat the trip from origination to provide best alternatives until I arrived to airport in Las Vegas to find out that again they had to change the booking and issue a new ticket. This took more than two hours. Had I not was preemptive I would have been stuck in Frankfort for an extra day."

Cons: "Boarding was horrific I paid for insurance my seat was in the middle of 2 HUGE guys and I'm 6'4...I thought my insurance would give me some kind of courtesy boarding/seating!"

Cons: "I know you need to make money. But really, passengers are unable to move once seated. If you drop something on the floor you are out of luck. It's like a straight jacket in those seats."
Pros: "The crew was the best part of the entire awful experience. The pilots let people tour the cockpit and the stewards were very accommodating considering their rules and restrictions. With so many delays, we were able to disembark the plane and come and go as we needed till we were able to finally board for takeoff."
Cons: "We all received updates every thirty minutes with a new departure time and each time we were supposed to depart, there was another delay. The first delay was caused by a seat cushion floating device not being on the plane (hour delay right there) and then for the next three and a half hours, we all were constantly being delayed due to rain. The rain was not their fault but had that cushion been properly stocked on the plane, we would have missed the storm and been on our way. A two-hour flight became an eight-hour hell. Not to mention, the plane itself smelled like a seedy bar bathroom, I had to tuck my legs underneath myself because there was absolutely no legroom, and my row mate was a belligerent drunk. Getting home at 5 am Monday morning and going straight to work was not ideal. Would have been nice to be home on the same day that my flight was scheduled."

Cons: "I purchased a ticket from Chicago to Myrtle beach for 158.00. When I checked in I had my luggage and my golf clubs. It cost me 50.00 for the first bag and 60.00 for the second bag. Then I went up to the counter and she said it will be an additional 30.00 because both pieces were overweight. I opened the bag that was 51.5 pounds and took out a shoe which lowered it to 49 pounds. She said you still owe me 30.00. I said its under 50 pounds and she replied "It has to be under 40 pounds". I got upset and said I will never every fly Spirit airlines again and she smiled. I said you could care less couldn't you. I am sure its not the first time she has heard that. They also charge you for soft drinks, water, or coffee. So all in all I ended up paying 140.00 each way for my luggage and 158.00 for my ticket, so the entire price to get me and my luggage there and back cost 438.00"

Cons: "First flight was delayed to wait for connecting passengers, connecting flight was not. Had to leave the terminal and wait in line with people checking bags to get another flight which made me I miss multiple alternative flights I could have caught if they had a desk inside the terminal. What was left was an 11 hour set of connecting flights the next morning instead of the original 4 hour direct flight. Speaking with the person rescheduling me, she admitted that no one had informed them that our flight was running late, which could have been to blame for why the connecting flight was not held a few minutes. Icing on the cake: my missed connecting flight landed 30 minutes early."

Cons: "Flight was delayed 30mins and than as they announced boarding would begin , the next minute they were canceling the flight . Flight was supposed to get in originally 8:15, than with the delay 8:45 .... and they said that it was canceled because of a flight curfew . Which is a lie because the curfew is 11:30 at not and you can still even fly the airline may be subject to penalty if repeat offender . So spirit canceled a full flight for no reason , leaving the only alternative to be a 12 hour flight the next day ."
Pros: "Went smooth out and in of Atlanta, since this was my first time using Spirit Airlines. I was surprised by the comfort of the seating. Excellent flight attendant."
Cons: "Fortunately I have no complaints, will be using this airline in the future"
Cons: "This airlines lures you in with a low price but does not reveal its crazy baggage policy until it's too late. If they deem your bag is too large for the overhead bin they charge you $100.00 per bag or miss your flight. The bag in question is the same bag that has fit in every other airlines overhead for years and I had used in my flight down with no problem. I will never fly with them again."
