Pros: Flight was relatively smooth and arrived more than thirty minutes early.
Cons: Flight attendants did the basics without showing any enthusiasm for their job or appreciation for the passengers in business class. Food service in business class was uninspiring as there was no element of "international cuisine" on a flight where some dining creativity would have been welcome.
Cons: Had to sit on the tarmac for 35 minutes because our flight was “randomly” selected to wait because there was too much air traffic over Houston. Result: I missed my connection to my final destination. The airline promised that the other flights were alerted of the delay and that people would be there to assist. May departure gate was literally two gates away from my arrival gate in Houston. No one was there to help. No exceptions were made to get me on the flight, even as it was delayed at the gate for 15 minutes, meaning that they could have gotten me aboard. The whole experience made me very angry. After all this, I had to wait an additional two hours for the next flight.
Pros: The gate crew were very responsive and told us accurate estimates about the delayed departure time. They even distributed snacks for us.
Cons: The flight crew was subpar. We had been delayed by 2 hours and they did nothing to assuage anyone’s frustrations. Service was minimal and lacklustre. In flight WiFi didn’t work with any streaming service. Plane was noisy and old. Seat was about worn through. Truly the worst in flight experience I can remember having domestically.
Pros: Maria in Winnipeg tried to find me decent connections. She did book me into a hotel in Boston as I missed connection 3 times!!!!
Cons: Flights that arrive and leave on time. How can one plan a trip if flights are continually cancelled or delayed. Very frustrating and a very unhappy customer.
