They would not even refund the upgrades I paid for. 100% sure they were able to resell the seats on the original flight. On top of that had to pay a $100 heavy baggage fee for a pound over weight. Will never fly American Airlines again."

Cons: "Flighr got delayed resting in connecting flight missing, AA didnt bother to comp the 6 hours of waiting by providing a hotel. Instead AA pretended to give a discount for a Hyatt which would end up costing 100 usd anyway, the same peice for hotels in that area anyone can fond on hotwire for 4+ hotels. Bad customer service, bad expectations management."

Cons: "Being stuck on the plane for 2 1/2 hours They lost my luggage that was checked in as being on the belt but it never came down!!! They never found it and I was standing in front when the first bag came down until the last my bag never came down!"

Cons: "The flight didn't board until an hour and a half after the original scheduled time, and despite boarding quickly, we didn't take off for even longer. Because of the long wait, it would have been nice to have been offered a snack in addition to the beverage that was served during the flight."

Cons: "I was unhappy because every leg of my journey I was being charged for my baggage. I thought this was unfair. Those working with customer service was not helpful either. They were frustrated and thus frustrated me. In addition my flight was late leaving the airport and the captain nor the stewardesses gave an explanation. This was unacceptable. We were late over hour."

Pros: "Why would a jet this size wobble all the way across the Atlantic! The pretzels were even stale, and they served a "pizza" that was a stale mini loaf with sauce and a little mozzarella. People were starving when breakfast was served. The thermostat fluctuated from horribly hot to freeing - for 14 hrs. The crew slammed things down on table trays, grumped, were giving harsh orders to patrons rather than gently directing them. These ladies do not enjoy their job. I am done with Delta. We were also an hour late taking off due to a door on a cargo hold not closing. I was embarrassed that our Aussie friends experienced this as their first American flight."
Cons: "Food, attitude of flight attendants, comfort of cabin. Pilot took charge of thermostat issue and kept us informed in a friendly manner regarding the status of our take off and flight progress."

Pros: "The TVs/back of the chairs were great because they could shut off completely so there was no screen glare when you want to sleep, the headphone jack worked with good sound quality, and there was a decent movie selection. Staff was courteous and the food was fine."

The only thing I didn't like was that I'd wanted to book a return direct flight on American Airlines as well, but the price skyrocketed from a few hundred to over $2200, which is just outrageous, so I booked TAP Portugal instead. My friend paid under $600 round trip and it boggles the mind that the same flights shot up to over $2k... It's not realistic to expect customers to stay loyal to an airline that prices them out."
