Cons: "The plane was completely packed despite the COVID pandemic. A stranger sat next to me on the plane (distance of about 6 inches, not 6 feet). What social distancing? And yet they conveniently said no food/drink beverage for safety reasons. Good way for the airline to save a few bucks. Other airlines (like JetBlue) block out adjacent sears and give snacks in individual bags but this... I flew several times since the pandemic began and this was by far the worst. On the flight from Mex City to LAX the bathroom facilities were so limited that some Economy class passengers had to try to use the business class or first class facilities' An FA then came on the intercom and said Economy class must only use their own facilities and this is according to an FAA regulation. THat is a straight out lie. If you eliminate bathrooms from Economy class to squeeze in more seats this problem will persist. American Airlines should be ashamed of itself."

Then they pulled everyone off and 3 busses took us to NJ, arrival at 4 a.m....HORRIBLE crew had timed out, horrible stewards served up water in cups and were yelling at people to sit saying we were NOT getting off the plane."

Cons: "Our flight got delayed 3 hours (which I understand happens) but they boarded group 1 individually, group 2 individually, then combined groups 3, 4, and 5 in the same line. I was in group 3 but was stuck behind people in other groups. Also, they ran out of room in the overhead storage which is frustrating when you're flight is already pushed out to a later time - the last thing I want to do at 1:00 am is wait for my luggage because it had to be checked. People brought on carry-on suitcases along with 1 personal item which were huge tote bags or backpacks. There's got to be a way to monitor overhead storage for items like that - if it's the size of a carry-on, they should need to check their suitcase. The snack was lack-luster. I went on a 5-hour flight to Seattle a few months ago and one cookie with no protein is hardly filling for that long of a flight."

Cons: "We flew united on our way to forida and we had a layover our first flight got delayed so we missed our second flight. Then on our way back they tried doing the same thing. The lady at the counter thank god ran down to delta and got us a flight to atlanta then to st louis. I think united just doesnt want to pay for a hotel room when they are the ones that kept delaying it. It was a nightmare and i dont plan on flying united again."

My 89/91 year old parents first class seats were possibly a few inches wider and still 3 seats across...that's a rip off. No TSA - pre check. Limited staff for check in with long lines. Also, only 2 check-in kiosks with only one working and no assistant to help speed along the process. I witnessed one man who spent approximately ten minutes trying to print his boarding pass. Cheap tickets which result in getting what you pay for."
