When we checked in at SLC the agent used my last name, which showed me the extra mile Delta staff will go to make the travel with them professional and curious. The flight left on time and when we arrived in Detroit our bags were already there waiting for us. Couldn't have asked for more!"

Cons: "Have to request wheelchair service twice as the receiving staff handing the wheelchair to another company for departure staff. Only one counter handles wheelchair request at each leg. They are so strict with liquids that all baby foods had to put in a separate bin and we had to go to another security point for clearance. It took 2.5 hours to go through all that, that is with wheelchair priority! Boarding was horrible at the gate."

Pros: "Even though we had to tax over to the de-Icing pad before we could take off from Philadelphia, we were still in the air by our original departure time. Our flight was accompanied by tail winds that got us to Detroit early giving me plenty of time to make my connecting flight."

Cons: "We were waiting for 6 hours then our flight got cancelled. We got another flight which is in the second day !! And I am going back to MIAMI on Sunday 7:00 am . What a bad airlines!!"

Cons: "Flight from Ny to Detroit was delayed for 2 hrs. Coming back was worse after multiple delays, they cancelled the flight. they put me on a flight for next day with 2 connections which will reach ny almost 20 hrs later, no aplogises, no hotel room. After more calls put me in another United flight later that night which also finally got cancelled. I had to book a new flight with delta and paid $460 on the spot for that. Still awaiting my refund from American for the return leg which was cancelled and left a lady traveling alone stranded at Detroit airport in the night. Apology or compensation -- forget it, you will never get that! Only now if they can refund my cancelled flight..."

Pros: "Finally getting to my final destination and out of DFW."
Cons: "The flight was originally scheduled to take off at 8:20 pm, but due to several delays did not end up getting off the ground until after 11 pm. After being in the air for about 45 minutes we were informed that there were issues with the engine and that we would be turning around and heading back to Dallas. By this point it was after midnight, and although I was appreciative that safely is a priority, there was no communication as to what the next steps were. After landing we were finally told that we would have to deplane, and after we sat around the gate for awhile we were informed that the flight would be delayed until 5 am. Being 12:50 am at this point a hotel would have been nice, but we were informed that AA was "out of hotels" but that if we wanted we could have a $12 food voucher to use at the one restaurant that was open several terminals over. The AA employee assisting in handing out the food vouchers seemed extremely unapologetic about the situation which didn't help with the frustration everyone was feeling. I will not be booking with AA again, and will be passing along my negative experience to family and friends. It is worth spending the extra money on a ticket for an airline that is more reliable with better customer service."

Pros: "The crew was wonderful. Our flight was delayed 3 hours and they did their best to keep all the passengers comfortable and happy."

Cons: "Plane out dated . It was sad. Tinny seats. And again they boarded all group 1 at once. And all of group 2 at once. Should of done by so many seats\rows. It was horrible. I wouldn't fly American again. Unless I won a trip"

Cons: "The only reason for the one star, is that there was no entertainment or did on the flight. So those categories didn't apply. For me, in my flight experience, it's to get to where i need to be and not to be entertained. Food and drinks aren't needed, I can get that when i get to my destination."

Cons: "The lady working the gate said they do not upgrade service members to first class and could not upgrade our seats. She told us that all American Airlines have different policys in different states. Which is strange."

Cons: "The entertainment system is of low quality and kept freezing and needing reboot. It is almost impossible to hear the movie sounds. Somehow the food served was truly disgusting, like an horrible TV dinner. United always stands out on international flight for having the worst dinner served. Always take your own lunch with you! Finally it has been my consistent experience on United that the stewardesses are really unfriendly. They do their job just fine but do they look so miserable compared to other companies. Do the airline treat them real bad?"

Cons: "My flight last week they had us board and then de plane do to plane maintenance after I traveled litterly all day it added an extra hour. Then this flight Washington connection to Detroit from raleigh the pilot never showed up and extra hour went by, we got a new pilots but, then leading to faulty paperwork that took another hour and thirty minutes after boarding the plan to get sorted. When we got that sorted they then proceeded to tell us that the flight atendent had to leave and we had to wait another 20 min for another atendent to arrive before finally making our way to Detroit. Cons: "I didn't like that I booked a flight nearly 2 months ago to only find out I didn't have a seat. I do understand its legal but I don't get how you are putting customers first by causing this drama. I understand how that DR felt when your guards ripped him out of his seat. I spent nearly 3 hours trying to find babysitters and alternate rides all while the snotty lady at the desk kept saying "you may not be flying out today but I cant tell you for sure". So to insure the bottom line you overbook then bump people at your leisure? This little game effects many lives above and beyond just the passengers. I don't plan on booking with United ever again. Why would I? There are many other options that take customer service more seriously. I would love to speak to someone higher up in this organization. But, im sure that will never happen."

So due to this flight being late I had to pay more then expected to get my car out of the parking garage and got home an hour and a half later than expected which got me home at 3am versus 130am (original time I would have been home IF the plane would have been on time)."

When I showed them the Lufthansa reservation they told me it actually was for a United flight, even though it clearly said Lufthansa . I had to wait another 45 minutes in the United line to retrieve my boarding pass, then about another hour to go through passport control and security. I barely made my flight. I will never make a reservation through Kayak again. I am deleting your app."

Cons: "The crew seemed very unpleasant. The guy (head crew) was very rude. When asking us to do things he just said it with a tone that was very unneeded. You could tell he didn't want to be there. The lady flight artendant was nice just facially her expressions make her look stand off ish. They talked about passengers to each other in the aisle ways and made comments that "they've talk to this lady each several times and she's not listening". Seemed like private conversation they could try and have."

Cons: "I had to see assistant bc plane was full. Had to get economy plus and pay for that. There weren't even snacks on the flight. Not a good experience overall."

I can honestly say I will Never fly United airlines again. I understand that flights get delayed, but when every worker at the flight check in desk, and flight attendants are rude and have a smug attitude as if they don't care then at that point i walk away from ever doing business with you again."
