I lost a lot of money and time since I drove 2 hours to get to Chicago airport to find out I couldn't even fly. I missed my weekend event. It was the most horrible bizarre experience."

Nauseated entire 12 hour international flight & flight attendant refused to move me. Couldn’t eat because of vomit on me and around me, flight attendant said, “it’s perfect, I sprayed it.” Unbelievable!!! Do not recommend United Airlines."

Pros: "The gate staff really worked to re-route the whole passenger group after a missing part grounded the plane for the whole day. They kept their cool and were great."
Cons: "How could it be that United could not even find a single airplane part in Atlanta for a whole day, making us miss our flight to Honolulu and stranding us in San Francisco overnight. Then finally on arrival at SF one member of United’s Customer Service was rude, causing me to totally lose my temper, which I never do. I always try to avoid United, made an exception, and paid for it."

Pros: "I was separated from my 4 year old and 7 year old children as well as our husband. We bought our tickets together but we're out on 4 different rows. I asked flight attendant for help and she was rude. She talked to my husband who was further in the back and came back and told everyone it was ok for my kids to not be with their parents because my husband said it was ok. It was not ok, it was awful. After I started crying someone finally traded spots. But I didn't like that my husband's wishes over Road mine, it was misogynistic and she was a woman, a very condescending women."

By the time I finally arrived, 4 hours late, to Newark, I had to spend 2 hours in a line to get re-book, for a flight the next night. I was compensated for all this mess with a $10 food voucher, and had to get a cab from the airport to the closest and cheapest hotel. My flight to Brussels was uneventful, save one rude flight attendant, and I got to school a day late."

Called the flight attendant and no explanation other than "we know" but sounded more like "not our problem, deal with it". They should stop saying "let us know if there is anything we can do to make you comfortable". Meaningless. United and most US airlines really need to take a step back and figure out what's there vision of service. Most of them are in deep trouble, you can tell by how dissatisfied most of their employees are. How about bringing some top notch foreign airlines to compete?"

My flight was horrible there was 2 crying babies that didn't allow me and my daughter to get any rest on the flight and the lady directly in front of us kept pushing back on my knees."

Cons: "There are great entertainment options for in flight viewing, but there is no warning ahead of time that additional applications have to be downloaded in order to use them. At 30,000 feet it is impossible without paying for wifi. Also, I was actually looking forward to the little snack sized peanuts. Instead, you're given a salty trail mixed something that's seasoned very heavily. It just made me want to sneak water from the drink cart rather than curbing my hunger."
Cons: "I had asked for help for when we landed in Houston to get to my conecting flight. The attendant was nice enought to arrange it, but when we landed and I introduced myself to the person with the wheelchair, he made me feel bad enough to walk to my conecting flight. Anyone traveling, paying for the services of the airlines should not be mafe to feel ashamed to ask for help."
Pros: "We were flying from Atlanta to Chicago to Jackson Hole (50 minute layover). Because of bad storms the flight was delayed for hours but they got us on a different flight through Denver and we still arrived on time, and with all of our baggage. Great job!"

Cons: "Once we arrived Ohara airport this went from bad to worse. The plane arrived late and the we sat in the airplane for over 2hours because of repairs being made. I feel like the crew cold have been more forthcoming about what was happening it took at least .30min before we were told anything. After sitting on the plane for over 1 hours they finally move us to a new plane to board all over again it was very unorganized ."
Pros: "The upgrade to economy plus was great. The leg room was very spacious and the little snack mix was amazingly tasty."
Cons: "The crew was nowhere to be found and the flight had to be delayed for over and hour before they were able to arrive and get ready to fly. Apparently they had arrived late the previous night from amother flight and had to take the required rest hours. Someone should have been aware of that and assigned a different crew to fly the early morning shift. To make that flight I like othe customers had to leave my house by 3am. The only reason anyone in their right mind takes a flight that early is because they have a burning need to get somewhere early. The whole purpose was lost for me since I ended up missing an early morning appointment at the Capitol. Very disappointed."

Cons: "I didn't like how my flight was cancelled only MINUTES prior to boarding time. I signed up for text alerts and received NONE about the trip cancellation. I had to rebook my flight for the next day meaning I slept at the airport. US airways had to change my flight to using Delta airlines since that was the soonest upcoming flight and they never sent me the email promised with my new itinerary, my boarding pass didn't say my gate number but they verbally told me which one it will be. Come to find out, they gave me incorrect information and I had to run to the correct gate so I could be on time. Worst experience I ever had."

No legroom, nickel and dimed for everything, the padding of flight durations to try to ensure on time arrivals, etc.... if I have to travel by air - I will use southwest Airlines - which I cannot believe I would ever say."

Pros: "My daughter and I sat in Economy Plus which was great because it was towards the front and plenty of leg room. We both have long legs, so this extra comfort made our flight much better and relaxing."
Cons: "One of the Flight Attendants was crabby and unpleasant. This was the first time I've ever had an unpleasant Flight Attendant on a United Flight. I travel quite a bit for business and always try to fly United. I always carry a large purse which always stays on my lap and her and I went back and forth because she insisted that I put it on the floor under the seat. This really upset me."
Pros: "Hated it. No personnel for guidance or help. The One employee there was rude and non communicative Changed carousels without notification. My luggage ended up in another section of baggage and I had to walk in search occur helped by some foreign travelers from a different United flight."
Cons: "Baggage retrieval. Confusing. Rude employee. Unhelpful. My husband circled the airport 4 times while I hunted down my bag and found it in a different location. It was a horrible experience."
