Cons: "More leg room, seat very uncomfortable."
Pros: "Plane was delayed then we were switched to later flight."
Cons: "Send another plane to get the three flights that were bumped."
Pros: "Not much. Did not get some"
Cons: "Delayed and cancelled"
Cons: "Wait time for US specific security check Line was too long and slow"
Pros: "United was able to rebook early the next morning"
Cons: "Change in travel plans"
Pros: "I liked the cabin and the many drinks."
Cons: "Too much food offered and it wasn't of any real quality, so processed and carb heavy. There was a maintenance issue with our screens for a few hours, that was a little disappointing."
Pros: "The flight from BHM to DEN (my connection) was re-routed due to poor weather in DEN. What was supposed to be a 3-hr flight, turned into a 5-hr flight. Thank goodness my layover was originally 3.5 hrs, so that extra time in the air cut into that wait time at the airport, but at least waiting at the airport would allow me to move around and stretch my legs, and not be stuck in THE tiniest plane seat I've ever experienced."
Cons: "Being stuck on the plane for 2 hours longer than the original flight time of 3 hours made my legs ache. The seats were SO incredibly tiny, and there is very little room in the pocket on the back of the seat in front of you. You can't fit a water bottle, and barely my tiny purse or e-reader device. Please do away with these super-tiny seats."
Cons: "The team in the airport seemed unsure about how to handle situations including checking people in, using the new TSA pre- check line, & resetting is he security equipment."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed and despite assurances by United staff at the gate in Seattle that we would make our flight in SFO to Zürich we were too late and we missed our flight to Zürich. 14 hours later we are still at SFO trying to get on a flight to Frankfurt then on to Venice. We shall see if it actually happens. The couple we are traveling with gave up and went back home to Boise. They also bought their tickets through Kayak."
Pros: "Amazing flight."
Cons: "Not enough food for such a long flight"
Cons: "Flight was full to capacity"
Pros: "The flight was efficient and seamless. We even arrived 30 minutes early at EWR"
Pros: "Kudos to the gate attendant for enforcing the carry on size limit! She required a passenger with a large bag to check it instead of hauling the oversize suitcase onboard. I wish more agents would be this diligent!"
Pros: "On time."
Cons: "New looking plane but the TVs behind all the chairs were locked without a credit card. The new chairs looked great until you sat in them. I'm 5'10" and my knees were already brushing up against the seatback in front of me. If you push the recline button on the armrest, the chair doesn't go back (of course it doesn't, the person's legs behind me are probably up against my chair anyway). Multiple people around me were also asking around if the chairs recline. I have a mild back injury and sitting up at 90 degrees the entire way was very uncomfortable."
Pros: "leaving on time"
Cons: "Crew's facial expression were upsetting to see since they looked unhappy. Should I be worried about my flight?"
Pros: "Fast trip"
Cons: "Too small the sitting position and seats"
Pros: "Boarding done very efficiently despite being full"
Cons: "No complaints"
Cons: "Flight was cancelled twice and only paid for hotel. Would not pay for food"
Pros: "I boooked through Kayak based on recommendations fron Rick Steves. When I tried to check in the night before, I was told I wasn't on the flights I had booked. Turns out SAS had switched me to a later flight without any notice. It took hours on the night I was readying yo leave for a three-week trip to find out what had happened. At best, I would have found out the next day at the airport and waited an extra three hours. Not the big fun! At worst, who knows? Would someone have been able to figure it out in time? Huge run-around!"
Cons: "See above. Also no vegetarian meal offerings."
Pros: "Everything went very smoothly. Food was just ok. I had the omelet which was mostly cheese. You had access to the entertainment only if you had your own system that would tie into the United app. For most people, it was probably not a big deal but I had to download the app before taking off (they did warn you numerous times) and if you didn't do it, you were out of luck."
Cons: "For some reason, the crew was not letting anyone bring their carry-on bags onto the plane, but there was clearly enough space in the overhead bins. If there was an issue with putting stuff in the overhead bins, they should have explained why we couldn't bring our belongings with us instead of yelling at people for trying to bring stuff on the plane that had plenty of space. I saw 4 or 5 bins that were completely empty and that was in the back of the plane I don't know what it looked like closer to the cockpit. Either way, the gate crew was very rude to everyone and it was very unpleasant to experience. Thank you for taking the time to review my feedback."
Pros: "Missed my flight so I ended up staying overnight in the airport to catch the 5:25 am flight the next morning. One of the cleaning staff found a blanket for me which really helped since it was incredible cold in the airport."
Cons: "Security line at BWI is extremely long and under staffed compared to other airports. There was not enough legroom and the flight attendants pressured people to check baggage when there was plenty of room on the flight to stow luggage."
Pros: "I very much enjoyed the male flight attendant in coach. He was fun, attentive and very interacting."
Cons: "I liked all but the seating. Even for coach is too small in my opinion. Pilot flew awesome."
Cons: "They suspended my ticket claiming I was a NO SHOW when that was not the case @ all!"
Cons: "No tv or movies"
Pros: "The crew was too notch!"
Pros: "The size of a first class seat"
Cons: "Entertainment system did not function properly. Seat cushions were worn out. The customer service representative was not able to complete my check in for the international segment."
Pros: "Boarding I guess was good. Flight was on time and arrived early in San Francisco."
Cons: "This was not a Luftansa flight, it was United. The crew was okay, but were not very good with putting any effort in for the passengers. The entertainment systems were clunky, slow and unresponsive. They looked old and/or just poorly designed or implemented. Could have just been cheap? Mine froze during the flight and never worked after that. The food was some of the worst I've ever had on a flight. Don't choose the vegetarian option unless you want an upset stomach. Seats were cramped and uncomfortable, but at least we got a clean blanket. They kept the plane cold for some unknown reason, so we needed it."
Pros: "The chairs were nice"
Cons: "Not a hole can f oj"
Pros: "It isn't that the food was "bad," it was just a very short flight, so there wasn't any food to speak of. And, because of the short flight, entertainment was nonexistent."
Pros: "Boarding was very fast and efficient. Seats were as expected on an airplane. The flight was only 45 minutes so there was no entertainment or food to really be able to rate them on it."
Cons: "The one flight attendant spoke super fast so it was a little hard to hear her clearly."
Pros: "STEWARDESS GAVE ME FULL CAN OF JUICE"
Cons: "2 HOUR DELAY CONDESCENDING REP AT TICKET COUNTER"
Pros: "Boarded on time and landed on time."
Cons: "8 hour delay."
Pros: "I was able to catch an earlier flight to vegas at no additional charged thanks to the United help desk who got me on stand by. That was great and was much appreciated!"
Pros: "this flight was only an hour long but it was enjoyable. made it home earlier which is always great. I like having only two seats on each side rather than 3."
Cons: "as short as the flight was, there were a few disturbances. first, the two kids behind me were off the wall. it wasn't a baby crying, they had to be 5 and 7 just screaming and being so loud when their parents just laughed. at 8pm It would have been nice for a crew to quiet them down. second, there was a disturbance by a woman who had to be escorted off the plane which caused us to sit not knowing anything going on for the extra 20 minutes on the runway. I'm so glad they got her off for our safety but we were in the dark about the situation. And United, you need to up your snacks."
Cons: "Everything. Rather than a new delay each hour and being stuck at the gate would rather just have a set delay time later in the future so you can make other arrangements in time."
Pros: "Grand Junction is a small airport so getting through TSA was a breeze, even though I have two knee replacements and zippers on my pant pockets. The United staff, at checkin counter and on plane could not have been nicer. Thanks for the snacks and sparkling water. In flight entertainment on phone, great! Please offer a Credit card without the $95.00 annual fee. I could become a regular."
Pros: "The crew is AMAZING!!! Personal, professionals, they go above and beyond my personal standard of customer service. Very comfortable atmosphere. Not to be mistaken with the uncomfortable seats. I like to think United doesn't overlook the work ethic their employees represent the company with on a day to day basis."
Cons: "I travel for work from Grand Junction, Colorado to Dickinson, North Dakota every 4 to 6 weeks. I always fly United. On one occasion I met family in Colorado Springs, so I bought a round trip ticket from Dickinson to Colorado Springs. I missed the second half of my round trip flight from Colorado Springs to Dickinson. I had to pay my own cab fare from Colorado Springs to Denver to catch my flight, because your plane, that i paid for a flight on, had mechanical issues and didn't make it to Colorado Springs. Second, my flight in Denver was cancelled 3 times and almost a fourth. I all but got down on my knees and begged to catch the fourth flight they tried to cancel. Third, I didn't even get to fly into Dickinson. So instead of somebody coming and picking me up in Dickinson which is a 30-minute drive from where I work, somebody had to drive 3 hours to Williston where you guys ended up getting me. Which cost me 3 hours of gas money to get picked up, instead of 30 min of gas money. I didn't get either of the flights back to North Dakota that I paid for. I've asked for the reasonable request that I be refunded 50% of the cost of the airfare and the $235 it cost for cab fare. When I contacted United about this I got the runaround from everybody. At this point I've pretty much accepted the loss, and the financial hit. I'll continue to fly United only because it's pretty much my only option. Just make sure you keep the crew around. They're great. I'd hate for the experience to go from unsatisfying, to miserable."
Cons: "I upgraded to first class but when I went to the airport, they made me wait in a line and tended coach passengers first. When I got to Newark, some of my luggage came out first but the rest came out after coach. I think for what I paid, service was lousy."
Pros: "The service, no stress, fast and easy process. .."
Cons: "Nothing at all, everything went well. .thanks"
Pros: "Overall planes appeared in good condition."
Cons: "center seat, not comfortable. Rough flight but crew did a good job communicating that was coming."
Cons: "The 3 hour layover in Chicago. Why I had to go to Chicago then back to Moline. Kinda dumb. Food tad bit on the pricey side."
Pros: "Boarding was fast and flight attendants were really nice."
Cons: "The ascent was really uncomfortable, headrest didn't hold a position, front seat too close for comfort, no entretainment other than magazines, flight was bumpy all 4 hours and bags took around 30 minutes from the time doors opened to the moment we picked them up in a one terminal airport. Not my best experience so far. I've never seen United as a low budget company, but this flight sure was for me."
Pros: "Very organized, on time, and courteous staff."
