Entertainment systems had contrast issues and it seemed like a lot of people 8 - 10 had issues since they were using iPads instead of the built in monitors. A lot of wear showing on the entertainment systems remotes."
Pros: "I wish I knew the name of the crew on this flight so that credit is given where it's due. A female steward was incredibly kind to me. She allowed me space to cry in the back of the aircraft, and also gave me her personal tissues. Her care is the only reason I'd give this flight an 'okay.'"

She was very obviously annoyed with nearly everything on that flight. The restrooms were beyond disgusting. I have never flown on a flight with a restroom that awful; it smelled horrible and was filthy. It was reminiscent of a portable outhouse, no exaggeration. The pillow on my seat had makeup on it."

Inadequate lighting for,boarding, unable to activate reading lights until AFTER TAKEOFF = groping in semi darkness, BAD! No window blinds = woken up by blazing sun in middle of 11 hr night flight, even with sleeping pills my sleep was wrecked, even with eyemask. Passengers penned in on narrow aisles by trolleys, unable to walk around plane & risk of DVT. Passengers disempowered by restricted space, lighting, mobility. I want more control over my personal mobility &, lighting. Horrible headsets (bring my own). This flight departed 2.5 HRs LATE from JHB & the crew & cavin service was SLOW. NO requested second cup of tea brought - I waited 20 mins & climbed over trolleys to get another one, even though it was requested of cabin crew. Do they just ignore us? Or forget?"

Cons: "Since it was a flight from Seoul, Korea to Seattle; it would've been nicer if all the movies had Korean subtitles-- my 4-yo boy who only speaks Korean, couldn't make it through more than 15 mins of a movie because he couldn't understand (of course, some of that is due to age & short attention-span). But he kept saying, "I hate English" in Korean while trying to pick a movie. Also, I'm 6'2"; so while it was nice having the whole row for my kids to lay down in-- I was cramped and uncomfortable the whole flight, even moreso with Delta's seats being closer together than on other international carriers I've flown."

Cons: "The scheduling of the in flight events made no sense. The cabin was dimmed for take off (logical, given that it was a red-eye). However, once we were at altitude, the lights were put back on to serve dinner. Several people were woken up by this and it took like 1.5 hrs because its a big plane. Also, it was like 9-10pm local time by this point so dinner made no sense! Then the lights were dimmed and people tried to sleep. The lights were turned on 1.5 hrs prior to landing to serve a light breakfast. So, 6.5 hr red-eye turned into about 3.5 hrs of actual sleeping time. I would've preferred to be left alone and given a bigger breakfast."

Cons: "When a bought my ticket, I had asked in the office about WiFi. They told me that you have WiFi on the plane. I had checked this information on KLM.com and saw the same, that you have WiFi. This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."
Cons: "Transavia does not serve anything complementary, not even water. A flight between two countries that is five hours long must be better than this. I was not aware of Transavia doing that before I booked. I will never fly with them again"
Pros: "A flight was delayed due to weather conditions and we had to sit in the plane for almost an hour, BUT information sharing from the Capitan was sufficient and on-time. Very good job from pilots. Leg room in economy - I was positively surprised, very decent leg room! Thank you for providing it."

Cons: "Besides the seat relative comfort, it did not recline much at all, i wondered what the extra money (at least $5 or $600) got us. The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Cons: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Pros: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."
Cons: "That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."

Aer lingus staff at customer service seemed confused on what to do with us. Finally, after talking to a manager they offered to route us through London to Glasgow. Very frustrating, not sure why they couldn't hold the Glasgow flight to accommodate all of us? It would of been a lot easier for us!!"
Cons: "There wasn't any notification prior to booking process, with regards the need to get visa from the airport where I should be transiting for 2 hours only. After I booked and paid for nonrefundable, unchangeable, uncancellable ticket, I got an email asking me to get a visa in order to be able to transit for only two hours in Toronto airport. The visa takes at least 2 weeks, and my travel date was only few days ahead!. The rough lady in air Canada, plus the bad service and advise by the travel agent who advised not to take any action as it is only 2 hrs transiting and I won't be in trouble, all of that makes me not to recommend anyone to use your weird website. I had to stay 20hrs in the airport to book for another flight."

I've never met a collectively nicer group of people and wil definitely fly with Aer Lingus in the future. Food was also great."
Cons: "I didn't like that the arm rests do not extend all the way up. We were lucky enough to not have a full airplane coming home and we couldn't lay down because the arm rests don't stay up."

Cons: "The flight had to make an emergency landing back in O'Hare due to technical issues with the plane. A part was missing, so the flight was cancelled. Getting a reimbursement has been a nightmare. The crew provided passengers with a hotline number that worked rarely: we were told to call the number after 9 AM the next day - it took until about 1 PM before the signal would stop being busy and another 1 hour on hold before anyone from support would pick up. After someone did answer, the support agent on the line was aggressive and rude. She said she could not help me due to the flight having been booked through Kayak. When asked whether she would be contacting them to determine next steps, since this was an issue between Aer Lingus and the website, she shouted that she would do nothing of the sort and immediately hung up. Overall, this entire experience has been a nightmare - I would not recommend flying through Aer Lingus to anyone. Not due to the flight cancellation, but due to the complete lack of support and utter disinterest in helping customers."

However, I was pleasantly surprised to find my Capt Kirk seat waiting for me (only 1 of 2 on the plane). Lots of privacy, lots of storage space. Throw in the free onboard WiFi for less than $1200 each way. Can't really complain. Short flight, but slept well."

No thanks."

Pros: "Liked that the flight was not very full because, at boarding time when I was in my window seat, much to my horror, the largest man that had been at the gate, sat,or tried to, in the middle seat beside me, with his colleague on the aisle. (He also reeked of alcohol but was not obnoxious in any way.) I was well and truly squished in the corner but managed eventually to catch the eye of flight attendant and asked for another seat. The next seat -- the headphone jack did not work, and I ended up in the last row, with it all to myself, which was great, because at 5 foot tall, I could stretch out. Crew were very nice and hadn't developed the officious, chip-on-the-shoulder attitude common among many United flight attendants. Aer Lingus crews have always been lovely."
Cons: "Inedible bread. (Main dinner course was OK -- turkey loaf, salad -- and sorbet.) Breakfast croissant was horrible. Seat size has become absurd and is not adequate for the average American and, increasingly, European. Any one who needs a seat belt extender should not be seating in an economy-size seat. If this had been a full flight with me unable to move seats, I would have been more than miserable with the large man beside me oozing over the sides and taking half my leg space."

Cons: "I paid extra to be in the 3rd row with two family members, we boarded early and still had no overhead space! I paid for the whole row and had no place to put my carry-on bag. Apparently the fist row takes up the second rows overhead, the second row takes the 3rd row and it goes on from there. By the time I got on all overhead was gone. Besides, you don't want to have to go back 5 rows to retreive your bag once you land! Bring food with you if you don't want to pay a high price for water."

He threatened to hit me and kept putting a fist in my face (I am a female) because I was putting my seat back (which every passenger is entitled to) and it was hitting his knees he claimed. A crew member came over but made me move seats instead of him and didn't report him for his threatening comments."
