Cons: "You need to bring a snack with you. This is a 16 hour flight and there is a long time between their food services. 2 meals and one snach"
Pros: "Everything really. They run the airline very smoothly and professionally from boarding to disembarking."
Cons: "They tempt you with so much food lol although some of the food wasnt too appealing.toilets very clean and seemed to stay that way throughout long 17hr flight.good leg room for a long legged guy like me.felt sorry for lady with two young children. She could have been allocated better seats."
Cons: "It was too cold in the plane."
Cons: "Food service was poor; food trays were arranged in a sloppy way; in fact the tray that came to me was not clean at all. First meal service from Doha to Washington (IAD) took nearly 2.5 hours to reach my home after the service started. The male attendants were sloppy, not well organized. When asked why it takes so long, the answer I got: "We were not prepared to meet the customer's preferences." But that does not excuse the long delay in serving row 36."
Pros: "Overall a good service with good food."
Cons: "When flying from New Zealand to Doha, we departed Auckland at 15h25 and due to the time zone, most passengers body clocks would have been expecting sleep within a few hours. However we were flying West and thus into daylight. Sadly the window seated passengers were not asked to close their window blinds to block out the sunlight and many were left open. This made the cabin very bright and a difficult environment in which to sleep. Too much advertising before the on board videos, but otherwise content was good."
Pros: "The staff are great, the food is good."
Cons: "The seats are awful, especially on the 7 hour flight from Doha to Barcelona. Very narrow, marginal recline. Also the flight was very hot, my watch thermometer said 33° at one point"
Pros: "Qatar has the best crews. The 777-300 is the most comfortable aircraft I've ever flown on, and I'm always in the cheap seats. Plenty of food."
Cons: "Some of the food dishes weren't appealing to me. But I get that trying to please everyone with everything on diverse international flights is impossible."
Pros: "Crew were good, food was decent"
Cons: "Equipment/electronics was a bit dated."
Cons: "I’m a 6’3” in shape man. I selected the bulkhead seats for extra leg room. Great crew, but my shoulders stuck past the seat edge 3” on both sides. Qatar should revise their claim of most room in cabin - this 12 hour flight was one of the roughest I’ve had in a long time comfort wise."
Pros: "Good food. Great staff and service"
Cons: "I wish there was more seating room and unusually long waiting time for toilets."
Cons: "I didn't like that I had to get off the plane and then put back on the plane. That was not noted when buying the ticket. That is important information."
Pros: "Seat features. Extensive beverage and food menus. Great IFE system"
Cons: "Had to flag down crew for pre-departure beverage and hot towel. They are usually more attentive"
Pros: "The plane from Johannesburg to Doha was Fine but not as wonderful and comfortable As flight from Doha to Chicago"
Cons: "The flight from Sao Paulo to Doha was canceled which delayed our travel by 24 hrs. With the baggage being mis-labeled from Rio we almost lost our bags. the crew was not communicative and the entire experience terribly stressful."
Pros: "Liked the in flight movie great distraction for the time."
Pros: "Check-in was a breeze; considering this being an internationaly travel, baggage check-in process was fast and easy. Was in and out in about 5 minutes. Goodie bag was a good idea; the goodie bag contains an eye mask, mini tooth brush, paste, hand cream, etc. These all were great idea and definitely helpful. However this is ruined by the tooth paste. It was a tiny tooth paste, fair enough but the opening is sealed tight w/o a way to easily pry open. This was a total bad idea of packaging. Flight tips were also good idea and informational."
Cons: "Atlanta to Doha was about 14 hours flight. The seats were cramped and narrow (no side support) Seat cushion has been stripped down to bare minimum, so effectively you may not feel much of a cushion. Cramped legroom Seats felt like junk and I had started having leg cramps after few hours. This so disappointing for a premier airline like Qatar. Overall a very uncomfortable ride."
Pros: "the trip coming and going from Kuwait was very pleasant"
Pros: "best airline food ever"
Cons: "for an international carrier, leg room is horribly cramped. singapore airlines and qantas offer better leg room in their economy class seats."
Pros: "Much better knee space. Excellent flight, good service..."
Cons: "Food could have been better. Dessert was disappointing, more choice could have been good."
Cons: "I checked in a couple of hours after checkin open but unfortunately I could not get my preferred window seat, got a middle instead. But still the leg room would have been ok but the middle seat (second row behind the bilkhead row) had the front passenger's entertainment system arranged across the footwell, not sideways, so it completely blocked the footwell and prevented any stretching of the legs. I am a tall passenger and this caused much discomfort on the flight, I had to keep getting up to walk around. I also found the seat bottom quite uncomfortable (not enough padding I think), butnghis could have been made worse by the footwell issue. Regards Neil"
Pros: "food was decent and the staff on the plane were pleasant."
Cons: "Qatar airlines blatantly lied to me on several occasions and treated me like I was dirt. They lost my baggage and re assigned my seat several times each time pushing me further back into the plane and eventually putting me into a crowded row when the plane was virtually empty."
Cons: "Boarding this flight consisted of minimal organization on the crews behalf, the Gate's security machines were off, people scattered everywhere with not enough seats to fit everyone. When entering the gate (with security machines turned off keeping in mind everyone has already passed general airport security and is only trying to enter the gate. Staff would direct passengers towards an attempt at creating a boarding queue. Once passing the gate doors and walking towards the queue directed by staff, it seemed to be a normal occurance to have another staff memeber shout at you and redirect you another way. Getting scolded by gate employees and requested to remove all electronics turn them on and being requested to remove most clothing items at the gate while everyone is watching with security machines off while only selecting a few passengers seems to be a regular occurnace in Doha & with Qatar Airways. People standing all around, no queues were initiated by staff, instead staff would push through passengers to get to the front instead of propretly annoucing the boarding through an intercom. No matter how loud staff was screaming their sounds were drowned out by the passengers which turned boarding a full translatlantic flight into a chaotic scene. Once on the flight I noticed the headphones provided were broken, I politely requested a new pair...from 3 different employees...which took over 20 mins to replaced. Qatar Airways prides itself on quality unfortunately as an economy passenger I have yet to experience any of that other than when it comes to good on flight entertainment."
Pros: "It was a good flight. I'd give it 4 of 5 stars."
Pros: "Staff courtesy."
Cons: "Was denied boarding."
Pros: "Great service by the flight crew! Friendly and competent. Food is decent but not quite up to Emirates. Kudos to QA for investing in the A-350. Quiet and comfortable."
Cons: "The headphone jack on my entertainment system was defective."
Pros: "Food was good"
Cons: "The crew did not respond to call lights. No Wi-Fi on such a long flight."
Pros: "Very friendly crew and efficient check-in service. Food was lovely."
Cons: "Multiple problems with onboard entertainment re-setting itself."
Pros: "Friendliness of the crew"
Cons: "price and comfort"
Cons: "My credit card was processed and I dint receive my e-ticket. i couldn't travel and my money is taken out of my card."
Pros: "Top notch service by Qatar airline. They accommodated us. We don't eat beef or chicken and didn't know you could request vegetarian online before flight. They found a fish meal and informed us to apply for meal online."
Cons: "Seats too close. Person in front was in our lap almost."
Cons: "One of the crew member took his food trolley over my food and did not even apologize.i found them rude"
Pros: "Not a lot -14 hrs in cattle class is no fun."
Cons: "Toilet out of order from beginning of very long flight. Food ordinary. Doha airport transfer awful."
Pros: "Friendly used easy to use"
