Maybe if I was 5' tall these would be comfortable? also, I didn't download the app beforehand and they didn't have the ability for me to download it midflight so I couldn't use their entertainment system. useless. but the staff was very nice. I just wish Alaska didn't buy these planes with the extremely limited leg room!!!"

Alaska Airlines made no mention whatsoever that this flight was not at all direct, but in fact had a 2 hour layover in San Diego. There was no mention of this during the purchase process, and we didn't find out about the layover in San Diego until were were ALREADY AT OUR TERMINAL GATE. This is very deceiving and absolutely unacceptable."

We also promptly checked in 23.5 hours prior to departure. Unfortunately, Alaska assigned no two seats together. We couldn't change it because they said the flight was full. Our two kids flew with us, and one of whom is a 12 year old girl. Even she couldn't be accommodated to sit with one of us. The staff on the phone and at the airport were of no help because the flight was full. In all other international flights I have taken over the past 30 years, the airline company always does group seat assignments appropriately so we are all seated together. Disappointed. Won't be recommending the airline to anyone. Sorry."

I was so worried about getting through security with long lines.But I had just got my TKN for TSA precheck.I was from cab arrival,bags checked,through TSA in 15 minutes.Best 10,000 used or $85 you will ever spend.I was told takes 30 days to get TKN after screening.I had my number in less than 12 hours. There was a medical emergency on board and the crew did a great job."

Also the rows were so tight, and seatbacks were so close together, that the reclining seat in front of me was 6 inches from my face."

Then we proceeded to baggage claim and waited a few minutes and one of our 2 bags was there. The crew member then said "that's everything. If you're missing bags come see us." Well about 5 people on a small flight had to see them. My bag was stuck in JFK. I was told id have to come back to the airport tomorrow. At this point id been traveling for close to 24 hours. Im not a happy camper. I usually fly JetBlue and this has never happened with them. Delta acted like its a normal thing with them. I paid 25 dollars to check each bag. How can both my bags not reach their final destination together and how come this seems like a normal procedure for Delta. I paid you for a service and now I have to drive back to the airport or wait for you at home to deliver my bags whenever Delta feels like it. I probably won't fly Delta again unless I absolutely have to."

Cons: "Everything else. I flew from PHL to IAH and was very unhappy with the experience. The gate agents were unfriendly. The bag check agents downstairs were unfriendly. I had two separate phone calls with United a week prior to the flight to understand and confirm the bag policy. This was AFTER booking my flight so they knew upfront I bought a basic economy ticket. After my first call, I understood a personal item would be free and I would be able to pay for my carry on bag, but only within 24 hours prior to the flight. I made a second call to be absolutely sure the previous agent gave me the correct information and pricing. So I paid the $25 for my carry on, checked in online, and waited at the gate while boarding at the very end because I was basic economy. They did not let me board with my bag. They requested another $50 to check my carry on with them or I would be rebooked. I struggled to afford the flight, let alone the carry on fee I had paid in advance. I literally did not have the money, and even if I had the cash, they only accept plastic. What blew me away was they weren't asking me to check my carry on because of the size. But because of my basic economy ticket, aka, the N fare. Despite checking with two employees by phone after buying my ticket and paying for a carry on in advance, there is a rule in place that states "if you have purchased Basic Economy, you will only be allowed one personal item, unless you are a Premier member or a primary card member using a qualifying MileagePlus credit card." Therefore, there is no alternative. You are a second class citizen; a no good deplorable, when you buy this ticket and there is nothing you can do to upgrade it. Only the "premier" passengers have the right to bring a carry on aboard even if you think you're paying for the privelage. What I was expected to somehow understand after asking two United employees prior if I could purchase the right to bring a carry on bag aboard, was to CHECK my CARRY ON downstairs or learn the hard way. Wow. What a ruthless way to learn this lesson. I waited 7 more hours to board the next available flight. What a nightmare. I thought I had did the appropriate research necessary and planned in advance to avoid these situations. Checking in online and contacting customer service prior is no longer the convenience it used to be. Even if you've done your research, bring additional funds with you. Even if you check in online and have a digital boarding pass, always check in with a real human prior to entering the TSA security line. A side note, United is trying to save money while "speeding up" the process by forcing you to use a computer to hand over your checked luggage. Speaking with a human now is a monumental struggle."

I struggled with my check in (I had just had a spine procedure done 48 hrs prior).... and by the time I got help from an agent it was 7:03 am, so... They wouldn't give me a boarding pass for my 8 am flight. Add to that an extremely rude ticket agent who couldn't care less about helping me, and almost seemed to enjoy my predicament, and that sums up my experience with this airline. I will never fly with them again, that's for sure; there's so many other airlines that actually care about their customers, this is not one of them."

Cons: "Everything was horrible. The fried noodles that they served was too soggy. The crew was understaffed but it won't justified their bad service. I called twice and noone came to helped. They had a young Asian male flight attendant that was flirting with other 2 guy passengers. But when other passengers approached him he wasn't very nice at all, he had this unpleased face all the time, It was hot and we couldn't connect to the internet. It was just horrible. Sucks paying so much for a very bad service."

Pros: "Night flight. Impossible to sleep with so many devices on."
Cons: "The screen button is on the armrest and gets turned on inadvertently constantly disturbing our sleep."

Pros: "The flights were all on time, we had no problem getting through TSA, despite the fact that the airport tonight open until 4 AM for our 530 departure from Lafayette, Louisiana . United agents were there to get us through quickly at 4:15 AM. Because we were being met in Managua at noon and moving in with families that afternoon, there was a little margin for error."
Cons: "There was nothing not to like."

Cons: "Plane was not up to par with other current planes. Pricing was high for not having more leg space, TV's which should be a standard by now, and free liquor/wine on international flights! United is truly a disappointment and I may not be flying with them anymore if I had a choice"

Cons: "Everything. They didn't schedule aircrew causing our connection to be missed. Had to stay in Denver and pay for a $60 cab to take us back to airport after they scheduled us in a hotel clear across town with no shuttle service to even get us back to our rescheduled flight. Their customer service stations Are apparently useless and can't do anything to actually assist anyone."

Cons: "Our plane was delayed leaving Grand Rapids. Once in Houston there was no gate available causing another 10 minute delay. All bags were required to be checked plane side so once we finally got off the plane it took another 10 minutes to get our bags. Many passengers had tight connections and had to rush to their next flight. My connection was already tight as it was - and I had to go to a completely different terminal very far from where I was to catch it. Five of us were on that flight connecting to San Diego. We finally made it to the gate. The plane was still there but the door was closed so we were not allowed to board. It was the last flight out so we were stranded in Houston overnight. This caused me to miss a very important medical appointment this morning - and to have to cancel client sessions leading to a significant loss of income."
