Cons: "That we had to pay for checked bagage on the return flight (Copenhagen to Newark) was an unpleasant and expensive surprise. In the 25+ years I have flown trans Atlantic with SAS, this is the first time that I’ve had to pay for luggage. No pre-warning .... :-(."
Cons: "Requested a window seat, got a middle seat. No food, ither than coffee or tea had to pay for everything. Late departure, nearly missed my connecting flight."

Cons: "We arrived late in Copenhagen and I had 20 minutes to catch my connecting flight. Even though I was checked-in for the Copenhagen to Athens flight it left without me. I was then transferred through Prague to get to Athens and again missed my connecting flight through there. Now I am stuck in Prague looking for a flight to Athens and most likely will miss my next flight from Athens to Karpathos and will again be stuck in Athens because there are no flights out to Karpathos until 19 of May, 3days from now. I was physically in the Copenhagen airport and could have made that flight, I feel that since I was already checked in they should have waited for me and allowed me to board. Now I will Be missing work!"

Cons: "Unable to select seat/baggage until 22 hours before flight because not booked through SAS. Thought bagged was checked in online and had to pay More than the cost of the flight. Flight was delayed due to mechanical problem. Cabin very warm throughout flight."
Pros: "The flight was comfortable and the onboard crew were very nice."
Cons: "Since the flight was delayed taking off, the layover in Stockholm was very short. The airline did nothing to rush those of us through or contact our connecting SAS flights, and a few of us missed our connections by just a few minutes because of it. SAS did provide alternate tickets for me, but I arrived at my destination several hours late and the whole situation could have been avoided pretty easily."
Pros: "Flight attendants kind and helpful. Boarding from both sides of the aircraft made it easier to get situated."
Cons: "Full Flight was very hot and cramped. not sure if the AC was broken, but no effort was made to cool the cabin despite my requests. This made for a very sweaty, uncomfortable flight"
Cons: "Not water for children."
Pros: "The flight was very comfortable. I came to know this after I feel asleep instantly after take off."
Pros: "The crew was incredibly friendly"
Cons: "I would have appreciated a vegetarian option for the meal."
Pros: "That the person with whom I would have shared seats, found one with their party - had all the space...by chance ! The people at the counters are nice."
Cons: "1) I had an empty bottle and asked for water for multiple medications (as I had sprained my foot) thinking the stewardess had a jug of water. She opened a bottle and poured a fifth . I said I had to take many pills (antiinflamatory are three) plus iron and probiotics I take. She told me, holding the used bottle mostly full, that if I wanted more , I should buy a bottle !!!! And put it away !!! How insensitive and inhuman !!! I didn't know she was going to open a bottle !!!! Very insulting !! 2) When another stewardess passed by offering food, I asked what did we have a right to and she (only then) offered me tea or coffee (which should have been offered first). They I asked, as in all other flights (short South American flights and USA donestic) if she gave crackers or nuts to which she unnecessarily gloated pointing to the curtain that there , in economic plus , they had everything free ...insulting treatment and unnecessary information ...just like in my trip to Nice !! Same attitude ...it's probably horrible training courses. 3) you'd think the men and women that speak over the loud speaker would have bothered to learn English ...it was broken English and even sounded like babble to me...so I just ignored it ! 3) again no instructions for transfer as you come out of the plane. Had to figure it out asking cleaners ..as my flight was at night again. People below seem to coincide in that they complain of rudeness and lack of re-direction."
Cons: "Small and tight seats."
Pros: "The food was good and the dtaff was attentive. Except for Norway. My friend and I were the only colored people on that flight and we were ignored by the older lady multiple times."
Cons: "Flight was cancelled upon check in without any prior notice. Was forced to wait three hours in line for them to reroute to flight twelve hours later. Staff was rude, unapologetic, demanding and incompetent the entire time. Flight was packed, uncomfortable and smelled terrible. Flight was rough, landing was rough. Terrible airline."
Pros: "Space between rows of seats was excellent"
Cons: "No options in menu. No free wine, beer and other spirits."
Pros: "Everything worked well."
Cons: "Movie selection could be lager."
Cons: "I asked for a second glass of water and the flight attendant told me I had to buy a bottle. Also, the flight departed one hour late."
Cons: "Delayed departure. Temperature in cabin was uncomfortably hot while waiting for departure."
Cons: "Crew unfriendly"
Cons: "Not much talk from captain about local weather and time."
Cons: "Could not even PAY for an upgrade due to a meal request, even though I brought my own food - and would waive the meal request. Inedible vegetarian meals in flight. Earbuds didn't work. At least I had my own to use. Plane became stifling warm mid-way. Friendly flight crew does not make up for the terrible gate experience and inflight discomfort. SAS cares about profits not passengers. Plan to take another airline on future flights to Europe."
Pros: "Direct flight"
Cons: "Small seats"
Pros: "they let us sleep, keeping the light and announcements off during most of the flight"
Cons: "staff at the gate kept changing my seat without my consent. i had reserved a seat online and they ended up seating me aomewhere else."
Pros: "The staff was very friendly and I noticed how kind they were to a mother travelling along with an infant and toddler."
Cons: "I've had blankets on previous plane rides. It would have been nice to have something to cover up with."
Pros: "12 people got bumped!"
Cons: "I missed my flight due to car troubles and has been very difficult in trying to get a refund for my flight. SAS was very unhelpful at the airport I had to go to Delta and purchase and entirely new flight!"
Pros: "Business class upgrade was very nice. Food was good and entertainment options were above par. Loved the quality of the pillows and blankets. Also loved the fresh fruit and candy snacks."
Cons: "The gate agents refused to provide my boarding pass until the entire plane had boarded already. I was one of the last people on. I wasn't given a reason for this or assured I wouldn't be put on a later flight. This caused a lot of stress during my layover."
Pros: "Polite crew, decent space allotment, decent food-well balanced meal. Entertainment was good, quite a few big name movies."
Cons: "I wasn't served my second meal/snack, for the second time on my experiences with SAS."
Cons: "We were delayed before boarding, then delayed again upon landing. Hence, we missed our connection and had to fly to Copenhagen and not arrive in Helsinki until after midnight."
Pros: "Old airplanes, no cellphone chargers, my monitor didn't work at all so they gave me an Iphad......"
Cons: "Old airplanes, you have to pay for alcohol...."
Pros: "Overall, the flight was good. As always, I like SAS's service. Crew are friendly and accommodating."
Cons: "When waiting to board the flight, it was difficult to understand when different parts of the plane were boarding because of the soft volume of the loud speakers. All people could really hear was "boarding now", which created a bit of a rush of everyone. It would be helpful if there were an SAS representative to stand next to the line, to physically say to people, 'Okay, we are now only doing priority boarding. If you are priority boarding, please stand her. After that, if you are business class, please stand here. Everyone else, please wait, but know that we will start to board from the back of the plane. Thank you." This will to help guide people BEFORE the ticket check."
Pros: "Overhead storage adequate."
Cons: "Cramped (standard coach)as rhe person in front of me reclined his seat. Unhappy that I was required to pay extra to select a seat in standard coach when I made my reservation weeks ago. An airline's price should include selection of an available seat. Requirement to pay for even one drink on a transatlantic flight seemed cheesy."
Pros: "Free upgrade to SAS Plus, what's not to like!"
Pros: "Overall this was a great flight. It was short, comfortable, and SAS service is always great."
Cons: "The short delay in departure."
Pros: "Easy flight, on time"
Pros: "Crew was great. One of the best ever."
Cons: "With a flight scheduled for around 11 hours, seat comfort is at the top of my list of importance. These big Airbus planes have the worst seats for long hauls. I had forgotten previous experiences when I made the reservation but won't in the future. If it is a big Airbus, I'll opt for a flight with a 767, 777, 747 or 787. And what's with one soda per flight? Overall, an acceptable flight but just barely."
Pros: "Staff was very helpful and flight was comfortable."
Cons: "The inflight beverages are totally over priced. $3.00 for a coke and $9.00 for wine. the snacks were overpriced. Two hour flight but did not offer the use of the entertainment console."
Cons: "It was from Oslo due to the changes in my ticket as explained before."
