Pros: "The flight attendant was very nice and tried to make our long delay tolerable"
Cons: "Why do you board a flight when the airport has grounded takeoffs? Just to meet some stupid metric for on-time departures, you make 100 people sit in the plane for 2 hrs, when you could have just let them wait to board. Misery."
Pros: "The flight was good. The crew was dedicated."
Cons: "The seats were horribly tight. Too small for a 11h flight. Not everyone is rich or has money to flight first, business or even premium. One day soon or later you're going to have to deal with that reality. We deserve a bit more space for 11h"

Cons: "Tried to standby for earlier flight or pay a change fee or buy another ticket, but they wouldn't let me even though there were empty seats on the plane according to the gate representative. When I called customer service there was a 46 minute wait. When they called me back it was too late, and they said only gold or higher members could stand by. When I got on my later fight, the wifi and entertainment didn't work."
Pros: "Every thing. I am not rating it as excellent only for the 'Maxim' : "There is always scope for Improvement""
Cons: "Nil. No complaints what so ever."
Cons: "Wait time to board was delayed 20 minutes."
Cons: "Horrible long delays."
Cons: "The check in process at JFK was a disaster. The kiosk check in machines were constantly malfunctioning, where to line up was unclear, and staff acted frustrated. After several failed attempts with the kiosks you have to wait in line to check in at the counter anyways. It would have saved almost an hour of my time to just go straight to the counter-- had I been allowed to. I wanted to check a bag which contained some fragile items. Several bottles of wine which I wrapped in bubble wrap and cushioned with my packed clothes. I requested a "Fragile" sticker to be put on my bag. I was told "We don't do that here". So I asked if they handle ALL bags with extreme care and I was laughed at and told to go on my way. When I got my bag at my destination-- the outside of my leather suitcase was sliced to the lining. There were scuff marks and torn leather. My wine had been completely shattered. Not just a crack in the bottle, but flattened completely. My clothes were stained, my bag ruined. I don't know if putting a fragile sticker on would have prevented this, but I don't understand why they just "don't do that". We are trusting our property to the airline when we check bags. I will never trust American Airlines ever again. They don't want to know if I have anything fragile, and they don't care when I tell them."
Pros: "Boarding process was easy"
Cons: "Got delayed by almost 2 hours, no wifi or food on the plane."
Pros: "Full can of tomato juice, head rests on the seat, relatively roomy seats and happy attendants."
Pros: "The entertainment was excellent! Flight was top notch! A+++ , very friendly people and nice to talk to!"
Cons: "A hippie beside me opened up his homemade fish and garlic hummus! But excellent on American Airlines end!"
Pros: "They finally got us there."
Cons: "The airplane broke on the ramp and they made is sit in the airplane while the tempeture rose to about 100 degrees. I think someone was about to pass out before they realized they had to get us off. Then we were over 4 hours late departing while they were getting another plane"
Cons: "Food was bad and crew never ask for food to economy passengers for long hour flight meal plan was not working I felt hungry and ac was too cold for all the time nothing good entertainment movies for different languages and no providing small personal hygiene kits for long flight"
Pros: "Old plane"
Pros: "Quick action on potential turbulence"
Cons: "Too warm on the plane."
Cons: "Boarding started almost an hour late but the status never went to delayed (they just said it was on time but kept pushing the boarding time back). Arrived in CLT with only 20 min before the next flight departure."
Cons: "American Airlines seemed to be out of sorts on both days of the trip. My connecting flight seat was not assigned until I got to my connecting airport. On the way back, we sat in the plane for over half an hour with no explanation. We then had to de-plane due to engine issues. The attendants at the counter were not that efficient with rescheduling itineraries, as they were often taking breaks, engaging in chit-chat with other workers, and answering personal phone calls during the process. On the connecting flight back, the ground crew "was not ready" for the plane and advised us to "hang out". This made for very little time in finding my connecting flight home (especially because the assigned gate was not even listed in the airport terminal). Not overly dramatic. Just a lot of small things that culminated in a very frustrating travel day. I will likely be avoiding American Airlines in the future."
Cons: "The previous crew did not do some kind of check so leaving Reno was delayed which left almost no time to get to my connecting flight. No one seemed very happy at all."
Cons: "Lots of empty seats but was not available seat choice options when checking in"
Pros: "Free alcoholic beverages"
Cons: "Check in was ridiculous, one enormous line for all the "one world" airlines. Which although we booked Finnair, the flight was with American Airlines. Then at check in we weren't given the seats we chose when we booked the flight, actually we weren't given seats at all until the flight was boarding. And although half the flight had not been assigned seats the boarding agent had an attitude that I wanted to get my seat assigned. The airplane was circa 1992, there was a box tv in the aisle every few rows. We flew NY to San Juan PR in July and had personal entertainment on a 3-hour flight, but not ona 6-hour trans-Atlantic. Then there was a problem with the fuel tanks and apparently it was right in the middle of shift change, so one shift went home and the captain didn't know what was going on. "I'm embarrased" he said and we sat on the ground for almost 2 hours. The crew were great, the dinner was fine but yogurt and a weird muffin top is not ok. The best part of the whole flight was a free jack & ginger ale. Based on this experience alone I wouldn't fly with Finnair again. Our trip was for a wedding and most everyone else flew Air Lingus and had a flawless experience, poor choice on our part!"
Pros: "Efficient. Got to destination on time."
Cons: "My tv screen was not working. I asked four times to see if it could be fixed. Crew could have cared less. Crew seemed a bit rude overall."
Pros: "Flight is only an hour so not much to get wrong."
Cons: "We were delayed and I felt like information could have been shared with passengers in a better way."
Pros: "Crew were nice and as accommodating as possible."
Cons: "On a round-trip, both airplanes on outbound and return flights had mechanical failures, resulting in over 3hr delays both times. This was for a short Austin-Dallas round trip, where I could have driven in less time than what I spent delayed at the airports. I can only conclude that AA is skimping on maintenance."
Pros: "Safe trip"
Cons: "I froze the entire time"
Cons: "The plane was old."
