Is this how you behave with a girl of 19 years, asking her to stay at the airport. She was refused Hotel and Lounge stay by your team!!! Is this what you call customer services??? Obscene services is what I would like to term it as!!! My daughter asked them to give this is writing, which was refused to her. Why are your people scared to put it in writing if everything that you are doing is right by the Law??? I was left with no other option but to book her on American Airlines flight today departing at 9 pm to ensure that little girl doesn’t have to spend close to 24 hours at airport by paying $423. My flight was delayed 12 hours overnight due to "weather" and since it was reportedly because of uncontrollable weather delta didn't have to do anything for me so I slept in the JFK airport overnight, they wouldn't even give a $59 pass to their sky miles club for the afternoon. It felt like an easy excuse so they wouldn't have to do anything since there were other airlines still flying out of JFK and to go CLE before my rescheduled flight which makes me believe it wasn't all weather. Since the flight was delayed 12 hours instead of being cancelled they wouldn't let me switch to a different airline either. Then, in the morning when it was rescheduled to it was again delayed because they first couldn't find a captain and then couldn't find a fort mate. We finally took off and arrived in Cleveland only to wait another 30 minutes for a gate and a ground crew that they couldn't find. I will never fly delta again."

So after everyone had boarded, at the minute we were supposed to take off, they beg for 2 volunteers to get off the flight to compensate for the weight of the excess fuel. At our destination there were clear sunn6 skies. Extra fuel was needed for that. So I was stuck in a seat the size of a child’s car seat for an extra 40 minutes? And when we could finally get off, my legs had fallen asleep ffrom being too squeezed in for that relatively short flight. When will the airlines focus on the passengers’ safety & comfort and not on excessive profits?"

My husband and I looked at our tickets and were surprised to see the seat assignments I had chosen when I purchased the tickets were not there and instead the boarding pass said "see agent". She then assigned us seating in separate rows and handed us new boarding passes. No explanation. We looked at them and handed them right back and said no thank you, we had purchased tickets together. She said, "this flight has been oversold" and motioned for the next passenger to step up. This really upset my husband who told her, "Wait, we are not finished discussing this!" He went on to explain to her we purchased our tickets together with seat assignments - Together. She then said if we didn't reclaim them when checking in, 24 hours prior, the seats then became available again. What kind of logic is this?! Ugh! If I wanted to be treated like cattle I would have stuck with Southwest! We. It's back to Southwest for us. At least they are up front with their rules."

Pros: "After reading a number of the negative responses posted by of other travelers I went back and looked at the initial booking: dates, times, upgrades and fares for our two round trip tickets. I can only explain the difference in our positive experience and their bad ones in that by making my initial choices on those specific dates and times and that by choosing to purchase the upgrade we had a good outcome. It’s the business model, if you use a site like Kayak use the filters. If you choose the lowest price as your default you get what you pay. Actually, about a week prior to our round trip my wife had flown to San Diego one-way and that one-way ticket actually cost her about $3 more on a different carrier than both of our two round trip tickets combined (before the upgrades) on Frontier. Had I been stuck in the back of the plane, in a middle seat, without priority “zone 1” boarding and had I been surprised with having to pay extra for both our checked and carry-on baggage at the counter I would not have been a happy camper either. I guess if you start out the process by only looking for the (best/ lowest?) price, then it comes down to this; what is more painful, paying for the upgrades or the hell of the cattle car."

Even tho I had my boarding pass printed and luggage paid for I waited almost an hour in this line - and I arrived 2 hours 1/2 early. After arriving in Cincinnati the luggage took at least 40 minutes to arrive at the pick up point. On my outward bound trip to Orlando the luggage took over an hour to arrive at the luggage carousel. It seems that Frontier does not have a good rapport with the baggage handlers at the airports."

After 200 to book I had to pay an additional 40 each way for my one checked bag, 20 to pick a seat next to my travel companion ect. Without the early check in it's even more. Would have rather known the expenses before the 24 the early check in, might have booked a different carrier. Just felt deceived by all the add-on fees after booking"
