We were forced to eat vegetarian food because non veg food ran out. The breakfast was mediocre.
Lost of requested seat assignments. Lost my husband's meal choice
Overall a good experience, but no wifi available for free or for purchase and we got wet from condensation or other water source during descent.
Aircraft was noisy, old and never dimmed the lights on a night flight even on business class! I flew 17 times on United and probably another 40 on other airlines United USA /Europe flights were the worst to include luggage delayed once going to europe and once coming back
Flight was delayed from 35 minute delayed aircraft arrival to 90 minute delay causing us to miss international connecting flight on SWISS resulting in 16 hour delay to reach detonation causing significant angst, monetary loss and discomfort. SWISS transfer desk and staff was like robots not willing to help at all.
Not the best. Mean. Didn’t give any value to me being a united silver member and lots of attitude.
Aisle chair was good and liked the foot bar preventing you from putting your foot in the isle, The breakfast on this international flight to Zurich was horrible (Europeans, specially, used to good food) may make this a dealbreaker for booking with United Airlines again. I agreed with my Spanish fellow passenger.
Plane didn’t even make it off the ground. We all had to get off and walk to a different terminal (lots of confusion) to get on a different plane. Landed fairly late, connections missed.
Awful…flight was delayed more than 12hrs, missed all connections to Fort Wayne, IN, had to get flight to another city 2 hours from my destination, flight was again delayed by 40 mins because they did not have enough fuel, again missed a connection, finally arrived in Indiana at 11pm…but before my 2 hour drive home, ay, no Five That Our Luggage Never Made On The plane and Still In Chicago
my seat got changed twice after checking on then boarding it had been given to a family so by the time they found a seat for me no overhead storage left. i ended up losing my Sony Headphones case because i could even access underthe seat in front of my when deplaning.
Awful customer service. What you are told 100% depends on who you talk to.
Most narrow seat of my life. Easyjet has larger seats. And as I just wrote in the last comment section - Seat 1A promises luxury after a great businessflight. Instead, it's narrow, the seatbelt is 20cm shorter than the one in 1B, it's just a joke.
I love flying with them, the long-haul was fantastic. The short flight from Dublin --> Switzerland was horrible though. Most narrow seats I ever had, first and only time in my life I couldn't even close the seatbelt in seat 1A which was very embarrassing so I had to sit in the middle, because that seatbeld was 20cm longer. No idea why seat 1A would have a much shorter belt, it's just ridicilous. Also I hate the fixed seats, way too narrow.
Food was mediocre, but as expected in economy class on an airline. Wrap was ice cold , my son’s served by a steward on the next aisle was warm . As expected, but at least heat the food up a bit. No frills, but it’s economy. Excellent free WiFi was a bonus
I flew Aer Lingus Business class for the first time. Having flown economy a few times, I was familiar with the airline, and happy enough with economy. I’ve certainly been in nicer economy airlines before, but Aer Lingus is usually very reasonable, and I find the staff to be kind and have an Irish sense of humor and accommodation. The business experience was good, in that you got superior service to the back, lay down seats, better food and drinks, and more attentive service. However, the plane was a bit older, the WiFi was slow(not Starlink) and the pods were too close to one another for privacy, or function. When the Oder lady to the left of me fell asleep(fully reclined) there was no way for me to escape without having to wake her and put her seat all the way up. That lead to me being stuck with luggage I couldn’t put away in a cramped(for business) space, and no way to use the restroom for almost the whole 8 1/2 hour trip. I ended up trying to sleep with a large backpack blocking my feet. The food was good for plane food, but not great. The drinks were great, shame I couldn’t have had more, but I’d have peed myself. I love a window, but next time maybe an isle seat. Overall, the experience was good, not great, but an expensive good experience during which I got zero sleep. I’d do it again, but it’d have to be a deal.
The direct flight was a superb idea; please continue. The seats were less than comfortable for such a long flight.
We missed that flight, and I am hoping that we will got the refund. It was very confusing to figure out about Aer Lingus operated by American Airlines. Then we bought another more expensive ticket to travel.
The check in and boarding process was smooth, and the flight was fine.
The free WiFi was great so I could stream movies during the flight. I would like to have movies available instead of on my device. Thanks!
Nice to be on a flight that wasn't fully booked so there were only two of us in the three seat row.
