Pros: "Yes the crew was great."
Cons: "It was a short 2.5 hr flight. Jet blue provided packaged snacks and a soft drink at no additional charge. Other airlines charge for everything. A carry on and a handbag were also allowed which others don't. The seats are leather and have more room. Seems Jet Blue is the last one of those traditional airlines giving more for your money. Thank you Jet Blue ! I am sold."

Pros: "The seats were not very comfortable. My seat was very mobile. When the person behind me would get up they would grab my seat. The flight attendants didn’t seem to care about anyone other then the customers in the front row and by the exit row. It was very cold in my area as well not just by the emergency exit."

We've flown JetBlue to Puerto Rico and loved the service. My adult son is a fan of JetBlue."

Also the control to my entertainment was on the right side, where the middle person kept changing my channels and volume. I would have liked for it to be on maybe the left side where no one else could touch it. (I sat at a window seat) The guy next to me fell asleep and so it was super hard to get to my controller (although there is one on the computer, he was still messing with it with his elbow)."

Our seats were originally in the very back of the plane. I loved that they ask for bags to be checked under.....so we do not have to lift them up.........Thank you. The pilot came out and introduced himself before we began our flight. Had a few funny things to say. IT was great!"

Cons: "Security line at JFK is awful. They only let expedited boarders through, and didn't process other lines for 30 minutes. Many people missed their flights. Even worse, a free screener was standing there, but didn't want to work. Only after many people complained did he start processing our line. And then the TVs on our airplane were broken."

Pros: "I haven't used any carrier but United Airlines in a very long time, so my impression is essentially a contrast between United and JetBlue. I have for some time bought "extra space" seats on United, so I did on JetBlue as well. Much roomier and more comfortable on JetBlue. For entertainment, United offers DirectTV for a fairly stiff fee. JetBlue offers a choice: one can purchase headphones for a fee or use one's own headphones for free, and the entertainment package comes not only with commercial-ridden DirectTV and a few recently-popular films, but some commercial free documentaries and popular TV comedy that I enjoyed. Their selection of music is also very large. I also appreciated the food selection and the free wifi."

Cons: "DO NOT FLY AMERICAN AIRLINES DURING A PANDEMIC. They were not keeping folks distanced from each other, they did not make sure that all the passengers had masks (I understand that people might take them off in flight briefly to drink etc but there were people that walked right on without masks on at all) The flight was FULL. They did a full drink/snack down the aisle thing ensuring that everyone packed into that small space would all be taking off their masks at the same time (if they still had it on in the first place). I did not feel safe at all."

Pros: "The trip started off poorly with a day delay and rebooking hotel and car at final destination. Not to mention our final destination is San Antonio not Phoenix. We were not rebooked for a flight from PHX to SAT. But after a few hours we were finally booked. We didn’t really appreciate the 7 hour layover at 0100 in the morning and nowhere to get a meal or even coffee. However, the flight had the same crew from the night prior and they were excellent. The flight was open so we were able to get more leg room, less waiting time for the bathroom, and pretty much one on one service from our flight attendants. With all the struggle in the beginning, this particular flight was actually the best flight I have been on."
Cons: "We were ok with the hotel and meal vouchers however, again, the only part of our itinerary looked at was the first flight, not the second into SAT. Had we not questioned the agent, we would have been stuck in PHX with no room, no car, and if we eventually would have gotten a flight, our reservations for car and hotel in SAT would have been cancelled and I would have been out $1700. I already lost money but it could have been worse. Basically, I am paying for a car and room that I am not currently in. Reimbursement for that would have been nice. Either way we will still travel using the travel service and this particular airline in the future."

What wasn't told to us was we would lose our seats and be put on the bottom of a waiting list. We were able to board bc other passengers did not show up, however we no longer had our seat preference, so I had a middle seat, although I'm a service member with a left knee issue so my seat needs to be an isle one. Also, there were no food choices that did not account for my allergy."

Cons: "I arrived at HNL nearly 2 hours before my flight. The check-in procedures at HNL were very poor. There were not enough operating machines to help passengers check-in. In fact, there appeared to be more non-functioning machines .than working ones which created a huge backlog of passengers. We then had to wait in another long line to have our bagged checked and boarded. This was one of the worse situations I've seen in a very long time."

To my surprise, there had many open space when I walked in the plane. The worst thing was my brand new suitcase was torn. Everything about the plane felt old and slightly dirty, and while flying across the Atlantic, it's slightly nerve wracking to still see cigarette disposals in the bathroom and on the seats (reminding you just how old the plane is)! The boarding process was a bit crazed, we were put on buses in no particular priority order and dropped off at the plane to all board at the same time!"

While we were not traveling further, those making connections again missed their flights. If they would only own up to the missed connections while still on the ground, alternate plans could be made. Cons: "No information or communication about bringing your own food or snacks on board. No food, snacks,entertainment or immigration forms were available. There was some food for purchase but if you didn't have a credit or debit card then you couldn't buy it. My mother was in a wheelchair waiting to board in Toronto and would have bought food to either eat there or carry on the plane but another passenger was severely reprimanded for getting out of her wheelchair and going to the bathroom, so my mother was intimidated to stay seated and not go to the bathroom nor ask any questions as to if she could go and buy some food or snack to eat while she was waiting. Only juices were served. She was flying since 11 am and arrived at 9:30 pm without any food. The website as well as all emails should inform about luggage weight as well as food and entertainment. On a layover the attendants should be more cooperative with disabled passengers and allow them to use the bathroom as well as to go and buy food."

Cons: "Children running around because there wasn't anything to do. Passengers ignoring no food and drink signs. A passenger had a nut allergy so no food could be eaten or served with nuts. I understand this serious health risk, but passengers need to be handed out free of charge crackers or cookies if they were counting on eating their own snack. Passengers were putting both their carry on and personal item in the over head storage and therefore there wasn't enough storage for those would only wished to store one item."

Cons: "I only had one gripe about this flight and my one other flight on Air Canada Rouge; the overhead bins are very poorly designed. I purchased a carry on bag specifically to meet their regs, yet it had it go in the bin longways, taking up a ton of room. The bins are tall, which is wasted space, when what they really need is another 1-2" in depth."

Cons: "Flight was delayed multiple times. Was tracking boarding from the Air Canada app as there was nowhere to sit by the departure gate or screens. The app didn't advise that the flight was boarding (unlike other apps such as BA). I missed my flight and they insisted on charging me more than what I paid for the entire ticket just to return home. I got back to London to find that my luggage didn't make the journey. Staff at Air Canada were unfriendly and unprofessional."

I think that I would rather have paid a little higher fee for the flight and have some of the things built into the ticket than have to keep paying out money for all the different things."

Cons: "Misinformation and poor scheduling caused us to miss connecting flights both ways! Luggage was delayed for 2 days. Flights were late and cramped. I had to buy one way ticket on another airline or be stuck in Montreal for 3 days."

Pros: "The crew was friendly"
Cons: "Seats are extremely small and cramped. Temperature was too cold during the flight and there wasn't even a fan on so it was the cabin temperature which couldn't be adjusted. In addition No blankets or cushions were provided. The leg room was horrible. I'm only 5'5" and I felt cramped, so I can't imagine how it would feel for someone taller. also, no one checked bags due to the newly imposed fee so everyone crammed their luggage into the overhead compartments and many of us had no room to store our carry-ons and had to put it below our seats, causing even less leg room. the Hawaiian airport also locked out the waiting area for international flights back to Vancouver due to some policy that the area must be locked down until the plane has arrived and everyone is off the plane. Many of us were sitting on the ground outside in the non-air conditioned hallway in front of the stores like homeless people for over 2 hours. Luckily seniors were sitting on wheelchairs and did not have to wait while standing or sitting on the ground. They finally let us in 20 minutes before boarding but really by then it made no difference."

Pros: "Crew is quite young and friendly.. good service. Boarding was quick and easy. Blanket and neck pillow package were comfy and worth the $7"

Cons: "There was 3 hour delay on the first flight, that made me miss my connecting flight then they booked another flight which was not a direct flight but with an additional stop. I reached Toronto 7 hours later than my original landing time"

Cons: "Customer service not very helpful. My luggage did not make connecting flight and was late arriving to destination. There was not any sense of urgency in getting my luggage to me quickly. I had to call several times for results. I did not have my luggage for more than 24 hours and nothing was done to compensate me in having to purchase basic necessities such as hygienic items."

Cons: "We had a short time between flights. Custom wasn't to bad but having to get through security again was a mess. The security guard at first location told us the floor above was moving faster and had more doors. We were in a hurry and changed lines and the other was worse we walked up to gate right in time."

"The check in process was kind of slow considering that I had already checked in and just needed to drop off my bag. Everything else was great! I love flying with the Japanese. Their customer service is always astounding."

Pros: "I paid for an Economy Plus seat and was three rows back from the galley and you would have thought the rows around me were prisoners. We were completely ignored by the flight crew. I had to actually go up and ask my own coffee and water. I saw one flight attendant yell at the person seating next to me, because she got up to go to the bathroom, after the "fasten seat belt" sign was off but the flight attendant was not aware of it. Basically everyone was rude."

Cons: "8hr flight with a glass of water, no entertainment, bad streaming, the toilet was DIRTY... what else a kind of a modern torture! Tired of being treated like animal."

Pros: "Good trip and on time"

Pros: "Crew was great, accommodating and friendly. Beverage and snack service were on par with other United flights."
Cons: "Flight had issues with WiFi so personal entertainment didn’t work until a few hours into the flight. Although, I was never fully able to watch a movie due to buffering. As for boarding, Honolulu airport terminal is under construction so it made boarding the plane a mess as groups merged with other groups. Not United’s fault but felt it could have been managed better."

Pros: "The crew was friendly, and the flight time was an hour shorter than scheduled. But those are silver linings to real problems I encountered."
Cons: "This flight was actually from Denver to Kona. There was 1.5 hour delay due to mechanical issue with plane, so we had to switch gates and planes. That wasn't so bad. What made it bad was an extra 45 minute delay because apparently maintenance forgot to sign off on the new plane. Also, the space below the seat for my feet and carry-on was unacceptable. All the aisle seats like mine had only half the space of the window seats for their feet. If you're in an aisle seat on that plane, it's impossible to fit anything but the size of a small purse under the seat in front of you. And the middle seat fares only a bit better. Finally, with 7 hours of flight time plus about an hour waiting to depart from gate on plane, the crew ignorantly decided to hand out the Hawaii form to fill out within 2 minutes of preparing to land. Many people didn't have time to fill out the form before being required to put tray tables up. Fortunately, these forms aren't as serious as going thru customs, but it's stupid to pass out the forms that late into the flight expecting people to complete them."

Cons: "1) a 5-hour flight to Honolulu was delayed for 6 hours due to mechanical problems, twice! First plane had issues and we had to change to another plane, found issues again before being taxied. Poor maintenance United! Are your planes even safe? 2) United first class is terrible! It isn’t even near first class standard with very tight seats and rude flight attendants. Absolutely zero service! No more United!"

Pros: "That I didn't get dragged off the plane and I landed alive."
Cons: "Everything else."

Cons: "First leg of my journey was delayed, so it was crazy connecting to my second United flight to Vegas. Poor service overnight."

Pros: "Flight attendants were very helpful, boarding was quick and simple"
Cons: "A family of 5 kept switching seats with each other and I ended up stuck between the father and a women, he was not considerate of my space I had to ask several times for him to move over."

Pros: "Excellent flight"
Cons: "At check in time being told I needed a eta visa to enter Canada!"

Cons: "The flight ran out of eggs so my breakfast was only fruit and a yogurt but honestly with that being the worst thing that happened I will take it."

Cons: "Seats very close"

Cons: "My new luggage was mishandled so poorly that the bottom wheel assembly snapped in two and there is a puncture hole about an inch long in a different area of the bag. The bag is also very dirty. When I brought it to the counter I was told "Minor tears and wheels are not covered" and that I could "...make a homeowner's insurance claim." Not even an apology."

Pros: "Love the little blanket. I think people who take the red-eye realize It will just be dozing, that no real sleep is possible."
Cons: "Like I said earlier, coffee in any form would have been greatly appreciated."

Pros: "Gate agent was nice and friendly."
Cons: "The loading process is horrible as usual and by the time I got on board there were no overhead bins available for my bag. I had to go back four rows and really shove my bag into a bin--and my bag isn't ovesized. After leaving the gate, we sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes because there was some kind of incident in the back of the plane. Some of the crew headed to the back of the plane wearing latex gloves and later a passenger went into a lavatory to change his pants. I think someone threw up on the poor guy. What I didn't like was no one telling us why we weren't taking off, and no apology when we did! Later in the flight, I was asleep when the crew went up the aisle with a food cart and pinched my foot!"

Pros: "No delays, nice personnel and food pas OK but a little pricy."
Cons: "Internet costing 8$ for an hour is way overpriced, no leg room, seats not really comfy, no meals provided during an 8 hour flight."

Pros: "I enjoyed the amount of space I had. (I was in an exit row.)"
Cons: "The crew and staff of united in general seemed to really be unhappy with their jobs. The flight crew seemed very unpleasant."

Pros: "The crew onboard the United flights were very friendly and capable. Plus I downloaded the United app and was able to watch any show I could think of but Landed on Westworld, cause I can never catch-up."
Cons: "Virtually no food included on an $800 dollar 5 hr flight. I even upgraded economy elite. In the equivalent range Alaskan gives a very nice fo-meal in a box. Finally, I arrived for my flight from San Luis Obispo an hour and 45 minutes early and stood in line to check my small bag for the first 45 minutes. At which point the desk agent made the announcement she would no longer take bags. Luckily my bag was small enough to be considered a carry on so I just went to security. I don't know what people with large bags behind me did? then it takes another 45 mins to get through security at which point they see my 5 inch knife on X-ray machine. Which I packed 3 days earlier when I planned to check my bag. Lost the knife, fine, my fault, goodbye favorite pocket knife. but now I am randomly selected for explosives LOL by TSA. I get to the gate the gate agent scans a ticket for the person infront of me. I step up and the same gate agent puts her hand over the scanner and says sorry it is late!? There were 6 other people behind me and this is a 22 person plane. So I still not upset walk back out of the security area because TSA closes the area in between flights and call United. They get me on the next flight out and rescheduled my following flight only a 3 hour wait. An hour goes by and the first desk agent, they have been holding the first flight because enough people aren't onboard. SLB is a joke."

Cons: "Flight got cancelled, stuck for an extra day in Honolulu. United put me in a hotel for the night, but I have to check out at 11am and the new flight doesn't leave until 8:40pm. So now I'm just supposed to sit around the airport for 9 hours? Plus last night they told me all the other flights were full. But my girlfriend called this morning and also checked online and there was an earlier flight at 7am, that would have still got me to Denver tonight. and there WAS availability on it, but since I got different information from different people, time ran out and I couldn't get on that one. So I lose an entire day of my trip, and have to cancel the appointments I had scheduled in Denver for today. Plus the expense of having to find food in Honolulu for a day. So...yay united. Once again, you're awesome."

Cons: "The movies kept doing out. They told us to log in and get compensated in a few days"

Cons: "Same experience on ANOTHER 8 hour flight I have NEVER flown on an international flight and NOT received a complimentary meal or two...When I'm flying for 8 hours. On top of that the seats were very small and uncomfortable. I shouldn't feel a person grabbing a magazine or pulling down a tray when I'm sitting in the seat in front of them. I couldn't consistently watch a show or movie for 3 minutes thanks to the wifi and or app on MY Samsung tablet....it's SO sad that you guys couldn't have them already installed like other airlines. This airline is already in hot water, I expected MUCH better customer service. I will do my best NOT to use them again and tell others to do the same."

Pros: "Ground Stall and flight attendants were unusually pleasant. Perhaps the recent bad press United has been receiving had something to do with the turn around. All for the better. Keep up the good work."
Cons: "As usual, plane was crowded and seats were uncomfortable, even in economy plus."

Cons: "Not getting a confirmation email or check-in reminder. No working wifi or power docks on plane (marketed as having in-seat entertainment). Moved to the back of the plane with no recline and destroying my back after telling them I need at least minimal recline. Out of most food options upon being served last and given a soggy undressed chicken wrap for 12.00. Finally, the gate dock was not able to connect with the plane upon arrival yeilding a 30 minute delay at the gate. Unapologetic crew simply ready to turn onto the next flight. This is why I don't fly united."

Cons: "Not only did we sit on the plan for almost two hours before they realized that the plane didn't have enough gas we sat there for a another 30 minutes circling the dam flight line only to realize that there is to much cargo in the plane that it's to heavy to fly they didn't let anyone use the bathroom and we proceeded back to the terminal only to get on a different plane to fly out"

Cons: "The comfort, like most non-business class cabin seats, was very uncomfortable after the first couple of hours. Also, I was pretty shocked that a meal was not included for a 9 Hr flight."

Cons: "The following points would be totally ok for a 50 Minute business flight, but not to a 5.5h flight to Hawaii. - Luggage costs extra $25 per direction. This amounts to additional 10% of the total costs. Does anyone not take checked luggage to Hawaii? - The lunch was a savory snack. Really, because a sandwich is too expensive? - Entertainment needs to be purchased extra. Use your existing Directv subscription? Of course not. - Power socket underneath the seat - good idea. One that actually works? Oh wait."

Pros: "The flight was smooth. And the wine was good."
Cons: "I paid for 2 round trip tickets and because my son was not there for the first leg, they resold the seat. So they got my money and the other person's money for the same seat. I wanted both seats and paid for both seats. It is theft and should not be allowed. The flight attendant was extremely rude and dismissive. It is a poor practice. You could have at least asked first before rebooking the seat. At least have offered compensation or something. I probably would have said yes Anyway. It's the principle of the process being wrong to the consumer which only benefits the corporation."

Pros: "Crew was great willing to accommodate and professional."
Cons: "Extra costs for luggage, fees for internet and entertainment which is wrong especially on long flights. Delta offered free entertainment. on their flight for LAX to Honolulu. SEATING WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE !"

Cons: "I arrived at 4:58 AM and there was no coffee shop in the terminal 7 arrival area. I had to walk all the way to Delta airlines terminal 5 just to buy a cup of coffee. What. A. Shame."

Pros: "The return flightf we had our be on from S,an Francisco to Atlanta , we had only 20 minutes to make it to the boarding gate. We were tired and didn't have time to use the bathroom nor eat before boarding. This is because my flight was changed. I'm so upset with United."
