Good land side service (partially because I am Star Gold) and fair on-board service. luggage was delivered faster than expected in beijing.
Fair Food and Fair beverage... Air China indeed needs to have some western style food. seat is fair to poor condition; too narrow for me even for a economy class (mind you that business class is not much better). and maybe they should learn about something called "entertainment terminal". you stare at a public, plasma TV for 3 hours without change of programs. thanks for the ancient device. that does remind me what flights could be 20+ years ago.
Air condition was not cooling and all was hot for aprox. 5 hours then became 40% better
New York to Beijing plane was new.

I had the seat 48A which was next to the emergency exit and no chairs front of me which made me very comfortable. Also I can drink anything i want as much as I want.
Out of the whole 13 hours flight we only had 2 meals which was not enough for me. I was hungry between the two meals during the flight so i asked the flight attendant for anything to eat and she gave me 2 hot peice of bread. I accepted without complain.
Quick flight, friendly crew. It was nice that food was provided on such a short flight (though international, so it makes sense), and it wasn't bad.
Flight was delayed on the runway, no real announcements about the delay were made.

The low calories special meal was inedible. The protein was so overcooked.

The leg room in the economy is very tight my knees were hitting the seat in front of me. Also my special low calorie meal was inedible as the protein was so overcooked.
The food and the staff are excellent. 90% of the time I can get an exit row seat as I am 6 foot 2. I fly Turkish airlines frequently. This time the plane was full, so I understand that it was not possible.
A passenger and his wife were not seated together, so the passenger wanted to stand in the isle and talk to his wife over the top of me for significant portions of the fight. In a full flight keeping passengers out of the isle os key. I know this was a difficult flight for the crew.

The male flight attendant was friendly. The boarding personnel were friendly and apologetic for needing to check our carry ons.

Entertainment console was defective
Everything went smoothly, AND the flight was pretty empty so I got to spread out over 3 seats to sleep. A treat!
Easy boarding and crew kind of ok.
There is a toilet for the main cabin right behind row 5. The door was constantly banging due to a long flight from Orlando to SFO 5hrs 23 mins. Very old uncomfortable first class seats with very little reclining due to the toilet being so close. Not good!!! No real entertainment unless you brought it with you. If this is the standard of United first class now think I will give it a miss in the future.
It was late by 1 hour. Food was not enough. Was hungry since dinner was late due to delayed flight and breakfast was served at lunch time of MUC. Electrical outliets did not work in the flight and had problems in MUC for GPS.
Online check in, easy to board. Flight was on time.
I wish there was a vegan option for the food/snack onboard.
Flight crew made up time to arrive on time despite late arrival. They are pretty amazing - they got a plane hundreds of miles in the same time it took the ground crew to get my bag from the plane to the baggage claim.
Frankfurt is just an awful airport. Too many landings and not enough infrastructure. Also tired of planes having to park thousands of yards from the terminal. The time to get the bag is as long as the flight. Each about 55 minutes. There is very little about German efficiency here.
Crew rearranged people before takeoff to allow elbow room. Excellent food, salad and vegetable with meat option to help with hydration, wonderful noodle.
Slightly too cool but I had an extra blanket and that is preferable to hot.
The crew was very accommodating, Frequently offered water also.

We were fed a nice pasta meal and offered drinks twice. They also gave a muffin for desert. The flight attendants were very nice and attentive with cheerful smiles. I wish every airline had service this good!

The boarding was easy and you didn't have to wait inline for that long
KLM needs to upgrade the entertainment. It was very hard to see the images on the screen. The planes that KLM uses are old and they sure need to be upgraded.
Seats are always a pain in the butt Wifi has never worked for me -slow and keeps dropping

We paid extra for seats with additional leg room and knowing the first row of these is at a wall with no room for feet with legs extended, we requested a different row. We did not get this though we were told we did AND paid for it.

the food is terrible. he literally dropped my bread and picked it back up to give to me. it was soggy, tasteless and disgusting even more given the rude crew. I never comment a review unless it was a good or extremely terrible experience. One of the crew members was extremely rude to Americans. God forbid we ask him a question he would keep walking. For the price I paid and the duration of my flight (12 hours from LAX-FCO) I wish I chose a different airline. that was the most uncomfortable flight I've had in a long time and I travel often.

It seems the major airlines use older aircraft when the destination of the flight is a third world country(or Africa). The seats aren't as comfortable and the entertainment system (screens) are not as good as a Qatar and Europe bound flights.

We tried upgrading to business but Delta said we had to contact Air France in Detroit. When thrre, the gentleman on ground crew was actually rude when I asked about it. He could have just politely told me there was nothing available. Not looking forward to my return flight
From the boarding, to the friendly hostesses to the food and the business class seat, I was impressed all the way. My first time to fly Air France business to the US and it was great. I recommend it!
I just expected better toilet bag for business but what was given out was just basic.
The food was okay and the staff were friendly.
My seat and several others around me were broken so that they would fall all the way back if we leaned back at all. The entertainment system kept crashing and forgetting what shows everyone on board we’re watching. There were no air vents to control. The games crashed constantly. The usb hubs didn’t work.
We flew with our special needs child without requesting any particular accommodations except for gluten free meals. The gate staff and flight crew identified him and allowed us special bordering that facilitated the process. That act of kindness is a rare experience on our part. Thank you Air France staff!

My first meal offered a lamb and rice dish with carrots and currants that was most tasty, while the second meal included a nice vegetarian rice dish. They were both very good and a good introduction to the wonderful food of the Middle East.
I had an issue with the sound on my entertainment unit that caused it to stop every time I paused a viewing. I had to exit then return to the show, which restarted where I paused it, but it was annoying. It also would have been nice to have a solitaire card game to play online. Overall, though, the variety was well thought out.
Very old aircraft
We paid for ecomony x which gave us priority check in and boarding plus first meal. Very impressed, we had an exit row seat and the flight attendant who sat opposite us was extremely friendly.
I wish the economy x seats weren’t located next to the toilets... it’s pretty bothersome with the noise, smells and light emitted

Virgin Atlantic offers good service at a reasonable price to/from the US to London. Good food service and unbelieveable number of movies and entertainment to choose from.
The seating and leg room in economy classic were inadequate. We felt way too confined in our seats and the leg room was a joke. I am only 6' tall and this was unacceptable. We will try to upgrade for the return trip.

Seat Assignments were not done due to overbooking of flight. Given Emergency Riw seat finally but seat was damaged. Cushion not staying on seat. Food service was slow and unresponsive- ran out of food non-veg and staff were playing favorites with giving out food. Quality has progressively been declining and this flight sealed the deal for me - Vistara airlines from now on.
I was charged for the extra kgs, as per the ticket it was mentioned 23kgs of baggage is allowed on each ticket, but Jet Airways charged me extra amount on each bag, costing me another 7500 INR at the Delhi airport. I have booked 2 tickets from Kayak and both were charged extra. Horrible experience.

Boarding process was very orderly. The 2-4-2 seating arrangement is quite nice for economy as it is a bit more spacious & comfortable. Sat in window seat with a huge compartment storage next to me by window - great for easy access to electronics, etc.. Great movie selection. Short and efficient flight and my fears about basic economy ticket were dissipated as I was able to check a bag and get better seat assignment at airport.
Slow service, not served dinner until almost 10pm. Lights were never turned down so difficult to sleep altho I had eye mask and noise cancelling headphones. Seats are not super comfortable but if you bring neck pillow and blanket it’s better.

Flight attendants completely unresponsive when overhead space was filled by a lot of backpacks that supposed to go under seats. Also, kept selling alcohol to people who were clearly drunk and were obnoxious and loud the whole trip.
Flight was 55 minutes late leaving making me miss my connection home. Awesome.

The plane was clean and the boarding process was very smooth. The crew was professional. The selection of movies was outstanding.
There was not as much legroom as I would have liked. We had Asian Veg meals which were a little bit too much the same each time.

i didn't receive my bags for days after despite being stranded in the airport even though China Southern has a free hotel policy for layovers more than 8 hours.

Tickets were in the wrong name and the company that issued them refused to fix the problem. I ended up buying a second ticket directly from the airlines.
The fact that my father was diagnosed with Cancer and they wouldn’t refund our 1300.00 for round trip tickets to the Philippines which is our vacation home. The airline required documentation from my fathers doc which I provided. He was not going anywhere for at least a year (radiation and chemo) and the denied even credit.I was able to get my parents tickets refunded by a different airline. NEVER Again. my father passed 8/12/2018. Our trip was scheduled for 9/13/2018. Very disappointing.see
I wish all long haul flights were like this. Very clean and well maintained cabin space, good quality food, very attentive, helpful and polite cabin crew. Never thought I’d be able to say this, but the 14 hour flight with two young children in economy was a really enjoyable experience with JAL!
