Cons: "everything started when we tryed to check in online for our flights with Lufthansa, when we got some errors saying that our flights does not exist. NO Emails, not calls, no messages, no voice mesagges left by the company! -called the client service, located in Philipine apparently, the lady confirms that all our flights were canceled (3), then she hangs off the phone. -called the second time, another lady is rebooking me on a different flight, but she informs me that my husband is not on the same reservation as me, so basically he is in another flight. Eventualy she is changing his reservation as well and puts him on the same flight as me. -waiting for the confirmation email, of course the reservation is just for me, no husband anywere. -called the third time, a nice canadian gentelman informs us that the second flights was canceled so he will redirect us via NJ instead of Washington. -we are rushing to the Richmond airport to catch the NY flight, at the counter they let us know that this flights was canceled and we are back on the DC flight. -when ready to board in the DC flight they are announcing the this flights is delayed from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm due to weather conditions. -waiting in the line to be rebooked in another flight, after 3 h of waiting they decide they can fly to DC at 4:45 pm, with about 15 people on board."

Pros: "The crew was great throughout the 12 hour flight, the entertainment was varied as always, the flight time for departure and arrival was almost spot on."
Cons: "Due to the fact that I didn’t know my gate number and that my bags were going straight to destination, I waited for all the bags to be dispensed at the carousel which never came. I later rushed through security check and told one of the officers that my connecting flight’s last call was in 15 min. She then placed me in front of 20-25 people. I was the last person to board the plane. All of this could have been avoided had the printing machine write my gate number and the ticketing crew tell me about my bag. They were too casual overall. I want United to give me a cash credit for my next flight. Every flight that I’ve taken with them has always had a hiccup on one leg of the flight or the other."

Cons: "Hello I would like to submit a formal complaint. I could not complete early check in yesterday due to website maintenance. I arrived to the LAX airport on time today and due the misdirection of the ticket attendant I wasn’t able to select a seat, which I tried to do online approx 24 hours ahead of time but the site was not working or down. I’m a larger person with spinal impairments and unfortunately I was given a middle seat. This will undoubtedly cause significant pain during and after this long flight. I’m very displeased with this and I would like to request a credit or like compensation for my trouble and suffering. Advance thanks for your understanding. "

Cons: "Awfully rude and uncaring cabin crew. Especially a guy named Eric. Bumped my shoulder with service cart when Zi was sleeping. Ignored me when I tried to catch his attention several times. Didn’t care a damn about offering a vegetarian meal/snack. Both times only available meal was non vegetarian. Normally the crew tries to accommodate and offer some options. But Eric said this was it...take it or leave it. Just so rude and uncaring. No entertainment in head rest in front. Internet was extremely spotty and the charging station would stop after some time automatically :("

Cons: "Had a middle seat while I need a window to sleep in the plane. Was wasted on arrival."

Cons: "Very limited leg room, very expesive entertainment - even for flight information ($US4/hour), no need to follow TSA rules (number and size of carry-on, placing carry-on under the seat, storing bags in overhead close to where you sit, etc.)."

Cons: "12+ hour flight with no working outlet to charge phone or headphones. When I asked to move to a seat that had a charger, they basically said no - even though there were about 20 open seats in the next "economy class" level. So for 6 hours, after my phone died, I basically stared at the wall and then had no phone to assist with my directions or hotel reservations once we landed. Food was not good. Plane was old, and had a few random screens playing a movie that kept freezing and had to be restarted."

Pros: "The crew was excellent and the whole flight too. Except for a lady who kept refusing to shut her shade and didn't let us enjoy our movies or have some nice sleep."

Cons: "I recently had knee surgery. So, I booked isle seats for my trip. However, I was placed in window seat on regional jets. It was pretty uncomfortable."

Cons: "My trip was poor because my flight got cancelled and I couldn't get on another flight until 24hours later and there were NO hotels available at all that night and this was an emergency flight I needed to be on. I will not be flying with you guys again because no one cared that I was basically stranded in NY with no where to go and I wasn't given any options to make my trip with you guys better."

Cons: "I downloaded the United app for entertainment but for some reason, I wasn't able to watch movies. It kept giving me an error. Make sure you download the app before the flight and that you have the latest version! At least they were playing movies and shows on the main screens."

Pros: "So grateful the flight waited for us because our flight was delayed because of mechanical problems. The take off and landing were great and flight attendants Were great also. Snacks were marginal but served with a smile!"

Cons: "One of the male flight attendants was rude. Never seen such an impolite flight attendant before. Tapped my shoulder from behind to ask what drink i wanted which freaked me out, refused to lend a pen to passengers sitting next to me saying they could borrow one from ME and loaded extra snack for strangers sitting next to me on my table without telling me what you to do with them - am i a sandwich distrubutor who is supposed to stay awake till other passengers wake up to eat snack? I almost thought he was a racist that refused to talk to people who seem to speak no English. If that's the case, he'd better learn other languages so he can actually COMMUNICATE with passengers."

Pros: "Planes are old as dirt. Flight attendants were unfriendly and unaccommodating and finally, there was a 2.5 hour world wide data transfer systems failure on the last leg of my trip. Have a 12 hour day of surgery followed by appointments. Thank you United. Your airline is a joke and I'm ditching your stupid mileage credit card. I'd rather purchase magazines with my miles than fly with you ever again."

Cons: "There was a long time delay. The inflight crew seemed to have an issue with helping you and when you did finally get a stewardess/steward, they will tell you to wait. No hot towel and almost an 8 hour wait to get your meal on a 13 hr flight!!!"

Cons: "Although I am not enough of a united member to check into your club, I am in the military and I was told by your staff that checked me into my flight, that I could use the United Club as a military member. I went to the United Club in Narita going to the states I was allowed to go into the club. On my way back in went back to the same club and was told because I'm not going to Afghanistan I wasn't allowed into the Club. I walked away shaking my head at that. I guess because I am in S. Korea for a year without my family, that isn't good enough to be in your club."

Pros: "But I know how flying United used to be in the past, and it'seems just not the same big standard of service, as the flight attendants aren't as gracious and selfless as they once were. I fly Delta more often because they've retained a higher standard of service, i.e. graciousness toward the passengers, perhaps because they're based in the South where that still counts. I was a tour manager & took 32,000 customer service calls for Williams Sonoma so I know that a cheerful, efficient attitude is a choice, and not a hard thing to accomplish with good psychology incorporated into a lot of training programs today."
