Pros: "Where another airline waited till the last minute to advise me of a delay that completely stopped my travel, you had multiple availability schedules at the last moment. That airline did not even attempt to search other airlines to accommodate my need. In fact your connections were more direct!"

It would be nice to see more comfortable seats, additional amenities and lower prices. I bought the last minute ticket one war PDX to PHX for $500. I think that was a little expensive, even for last minute traveling."

Everyone around thought that was sibling or daughter of a passenger nearby until the last duration of the flight. She was very cute and it wasn't a big deal, but if there was a way for people around her to know I'm sure we would have helped her out a lot earlier in the flight with all her stuff."

Gaps for our feet were not set below the chairs evenly. I had the middle seat but my floor space went into what should have been the aisle seat's space. I felt bad for the guy. Chair support landed right were his foot would have naturally slide forward."

Pros: "The front cabin stewardess smiled s lot, you don't always see that. We actually got a snack! Some hour flights don't do that... Keep it up, it's just a nice industry standard to maintain. Good communication regarding expectations/limitations of plane/process."
Cons: "I rated seats low just because they are always hard and about 45 minutes sitting is all I can take in them. while there was an Alaska Air magazine, there was nothing else to read or watch. Could do without the five minute sales pitch for a credit card (?) during decent... I tuned her out after " we like to offer.... " So not really sure what her pitch was it was just extra noise and when I finished reading my article I noticed she was STILL talking! Poor girl... Don't make her do that!"

The electric outlets at each of our first class seats were not functional, both the USB ports and the electric plugs did not work so we were not able to charge our phones during the flight. When I mentioned this to the flight attendant her response was that she had not received a report that the electric was not working. No other assistance was offered. There was very little legroom even though these were sold as first class seats. The plane was old and dirty, the armrests were sticky."

Next flight was not much better, oh and wifi did I t work on it also - last 3-4 delta flights I've taken have been late and didn't have working wifi - starting to think their system doesn't work at all - seriously going to take any other carrier but Delta going forward"

This does not seem very considerate of our health during a Pandemic especially with their messaging about social distancing. They also did a very poor job of keeping people patient in the deplaning process. They should have better messaging and a very non threatening way of encouraging passengers to be patient and courteous. Maybe they good offer each passenger a choice some type of goodie like a mint or a chocolate that says "please enjoy this while you wait for others to exit the plane"."

Gracias to her!!"

As we were boarding the plane from Austin to Phoenix, we got a notification that our layover had been delayed an additional 5 hours due to construction at SFO. I’d have appreciated more of a heads up than as I’m boarding."

Cons: "I arrived at the airport and had already checked in and had m boarding passes. For some reason they could not find me when I went to check my bag. After 30 minutes they saw that my seat assignment had been changed and that is why my boarding passes that I had printed at home did not match what their computer showed. I booked this reservation in May and had a seat chosen fairly toward the front. I am 73 years old and the closer to the front I can be helps. When I finally got on the plane to my surprise my seat was the very last seat on the plane across from the restroom. People continued to leave the door open after using the restroom so had to get up and continue to close the door or look at the restroom the whole flight. There was never any explanation as to why they did this. As a result, being lst off the plane, I almost missed my connection as I had to go two terminals over for my connection. At my age I cannot run so I arrived as the last people were getting on the plane. I will never fly American Airlines again."

To my surprise, there had many open space when I walked in the plane. The worst thing was my brand new suitcase was torn. I told the luggage agent the incident and she said they had no liability what so ever."

AA attendant at gate at CLT was extremely rude and unprofessional when I accuse Left my boarding passes in seat pocket. Would not summon someone to retrieve it. Made me wait until entire plane was disembarked and cleaned, and made me wait some more after. She was super snarky, made rude comments, and almost made my family miss our connection to EWN. I will never, ever, fly AA again. Worst customer service and tons of issues with maintenance, luggage handling, and delays."

Cons: "I called American Airlines as ssoon as I book my trip to set up and make sure my small dog could fly with me. They neglected to inform me their partner, jetstar, does not fly animals. My luggage did not arrive with me. Both of my suitcases were mangled and broken. Items in my suitcases were shattered and crushed even though they were well packed and protected. We got stuck on the terminal in MSP and missed our connecting flight. When we finally arrived the systems were down and could not get new flights or hotels. We were told we could not get hotels and had to argue for an hour. Even though it was a maintenance issue. I arrived a day late and had to take extra leave. The plane from LAX to Tokyo was horrific. I booked a window seat, was stuck in the very middle. There was no way to charge outlets devices. The screen did not work. And my new luggage was also damaged with even more items destroyed."

It took many calls, one with over an hour wait, where were told different stories and expectations. I did not receive an actual ticket until the very morning if this flight!! It was very stressful!"

Cons: "Bad enough the long part of my trip ove seas had no wifi but then the 4 hour domestic flight did not have it either. I had planned to put my flight time to good use and catch up on work so i did not go back to a mountain of work but that never happened. Also, I've never been to an airport where you exit the boarding doors in the terminal then head down stairs to the tarmac to board a bus that make a complete lap of the terminal going near every AA plane obviously trying to figure out which one they need to drop us off at. If can get this close to losing people I now understand how luggage gets lost so often."

Cons: "Ear headphone jack would not turn down, you could hear the show from three seats away and the flight attendant was rude when I asked her for some different headphone to see if it would help. She acted like I was stupid and said "well did you turn it down?" Of course I tried that. I was very taken back by how she acted."

Cons: "i had my boarding pass and chose my seat some time ago, in row 4. When I checked in, the AA representative switched my boarding card and I was told that my seat was no longer available. When I got to the gate, I spoke to the gate attendant. There were several people also speaking to them about their seats. I did not have a seat assigned to my boarding pass, so I stood until the entire plane boarded and the gate attendants could sort things out. In the end, I was given a seat at the back of the plane, even though booked my seat some time ago and am a Sapphire member. When I boarded, there was no room for my carry-on luggage. The flight attendant already understood what happened. She immediately took my bag, and found a space at the front of the airplane. This is the second disappointing flight in a row in 2 weeks I have had with AA. I'm not sure if it's just bad luck, or has something to do with the company. I had flown with U.S. Airways for years and never experienced any major issues."

Pros: "From start to finish the flight faced problems: unscheduled stop for refueling, change in planes for mechanical problems, emergency medical intervention, and more. Yet at every stage the flight crew and gate staff did an outstanding job communicating and seeking to alleviate passenger woes. With delays, we missed connections, and yet AA worked wonderfully to find alternatives. At the end of the day, we arrived at our destination, and even our luggage made the trip successfully! Wonderful courtesy, adaptability, and determination to serve. Thank you."

We felt abandoned by American Airlines because we asked three different people for assistance and they didn't seem to want to take on the problem. They were like Pontius Pilate, and "washed their hands" of us!!!"

Pros: "I don't usually complain, and I have never responded to this kind of rating request, but, the American Airlines flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Phoenix was too inept to ignore. Firstly, I wasn't assigned a seat when I booked the flight. Then, at the time I checked in, as no regularly priced seat was reserved for me, I was forced to pay for a premium seat, for both the outbound and inbound segments. Secondly, no snacks were offered on the outbound flight, because "the ground crew forgot to supply the plane". This didn't bother me, but it did infuriate some of the other passengers. Finally, I paid for the GoGo inflight internet, but the download speed was sooooo slow, I finally gave up."

I told her we'd put the purse in the bag but for some reason she demanded we check in our carry on. And we saw two women right in front of us with "3" bags... That meant an additional 30 minutes at bag check while our ride circled the airport. The was the last of 4 flights, and it was the only time anyone made this an issue."

You cannot pick your seat and will not be able to purchase a better seat even if it says available. Paid way too much and had to stay longer for my father's heart attack and lost the ticket and had to but a 1 way ticket back home and had to purchase my seat on top of all this. Over $1600 paid and still wanted $80 for my seat of choice. How Greedy."

But she the attendant told me another passenger said the same thing. The only difference was the boarding agent told them 179.00 to change seats. She suggested I bring it up to United, which I will do."

Supervisor was loud, crude and the opposite of sympathetic. My son was forced to drive back home to take 4hr. round- trip again next day 5/21/17."

Cons: "The flight had been delayed 4 1/2 hours. This was because they were waiting for another plane to arrive due to mechanical problems. The plane seating is cramped and no leg room. Nothing special about your flight attendant.."

Cons: "The bag charges were over the top. BUT that wasn't the worst. I landed in Phx a little before midnight and walked to retrieve my checked bags. It took almost 2 hours before the bags came out of the carousel. There were no Frontier employees to help. Sky Harbor employees recommended we call the Frontier line and several passengers did. It wasn't just our flight either, the Frontier flight that landed an hour before us was still waiting and didn't get their bags until 90 minutes post landing. This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The high bag fees only added insult to injury."

Cons: "Biggest regret buying this "discounted" ticket. Not a real discount. Found out there were a bunch of hidden fees when I was checking in. They charge $60 for the checked bag EACH WAY and was super shocked they charge for a CARRYON!! Unbelievable. None of the regular seats recline whatsoever unless you pay more hidden fees just to have your seat not be straight up the entire time, and there is no front table to put a computer. To save another dime, they installed some super cheap 6 inch x 3 inch mini ledges that they call tables. I'll NEVER fly with Frontier again. They also refused to let me check in early so I had to sit and wait for hours since they refused to give me a boarding pass until I came all the way back to ticketing exactly and only exactly at 2 hours before boarding. Worst flight. A total shame since the crew was incredibly nice."

Got on the plane an hour late, sat on the plane for over an hour, had to get off the plane and wait in the terminal for 2 hours therefore missed my connecting flight and have not arrived at my final destination. There was nothing offered for the trouble or inconenience (snacks, drinks, etc.). I had to miss an important meeting and never want to fly Frontier again."
