Cons: "I had a 12 hour layover in Istanbul. The hotel was great and I appreciated the good food and rest. However, it took nearly an hour each way to the hotel. I think it would be great if Istanbul airways cooperated with the Yotel so transit passengers could stay in the airport. They helped me to get a visa and they say it will be reimbursed, but all of those things took time when I was so exhausted after a long flight. Overall, it was wonderful to have that opportunity to rest and shower on a long wait, but it would be even better if it was closer and it was clear ahead of time that a visa would be needed."

Cons: "This was the worst airline I have flown with. I booked my tickets last minute, it was for me and my 4 month old son. I had 3 suitcases a stroller and 2 carryons. I had paid for the suitcases, but because I was traveling alone I went there with my husband and he politely asked if they could please take the carryons on the plane because she can’t carry everything by herself. The manager came out and said that we have to pay. I said I already paid extra for my suitcases please help us because my wife is carrying our son, the diaper bag and 2 carryons. He was rude stating that we have to pay each carryon. We didn’t have the extra money and my wife took everything with her. If that’s how Turkish Airline treats their customers, they shouldn’t be operating. It was the last time I use this airline. No dignity or humanity, it’s all only about the money. And when I took the stroller with my son. They made me package the stroller by myself looking that I had my son on me crying and when I asked for help they said that they can’t help me... unbelievable... they see me with 2 carryons a stroller and a baby and they can’t help me."

I know the airline has nothing to do with it but they should pressure the airport to have more safety for the passengers or find an airport in another country that is safer like Macedonia or Bulgary. Just as a temporary thing while things become safer in Turkey. In other words, only stop in Turkey for people who is flying to that country. Connecting flights should stop somewhere else."

Turkish Airline changed my connection time without notifying me such that I had 5 min left for my cooection in stambul. They gave me no other option and blamed this on Kayak and kayak blamed it on the Airline leaving me with no options. I had to stay in Birlin at my own expense. Complaint filed with Turkish airline resulted in nothing. I made several calls for update and only repose I got was we will send an email to the complaint dept. and you will here in 24 hours. This has been going on for over 5 days with no contect, update or resolution. Once back in the US, I plane to file a formal complaint with FAA and more. DO NOT take this airline. They are worst airline I have ever used and will never use it again."

Cons: "As a handicaped disabled not able to walk and should be using a wheel chair,as I know from my many previous travels with other companies like lufthanza, klm..etc, I used to be the first traveller to go to the air craft when loading it to take off and the last one who would be leaving it after landing. Even when going through the check and security points I used to go in a special route especially for the handicaped but going with all other normal travelers lines with such amount of time waiting and crowdness is completely inconvenient. what happened through the trip was quit different , going with the travelers or after when they are boarding the craft make it very hard and time consuming , Wish you take care of it, as it's a very important handicaped service. Cons: "First, I'm not sure where the problem was - whether with AA or Royal Jordanian, but my luggage did not make it to Amman with me. In fact, there was a whole group of passengers traveling on American from different US cities, switching to RJ in Chicago, whose luggage did not come on the flight to Amman. My advice: be sure to pack enough for a couple of days in your carryon - and don't accept an offer to check your carryon to its final destination! The food was very mediocre, and not much for a flight of over 10 hours. And the movie options were limited, mostly older. The crew never came and offered water between meals - although I did discover we could go to the galley and get drinks. It would have been nice to have that option mentioned. The plane itself was nice, and seating slightly more roomy than other carriers."

Finally, I did not like the fact that there was very little service on the flight. I would have liked to see more beverages (hot and cold) offered throughout the flight, and the clearing of meals done more rapidly."

Cons: "I asked for a window seat and I have platinum card. I was told to check at the counter. The counter lady said there is no window seat available and the whole row of three seats was empty! As soon as I entered the flight it had an urine like odor through out the flight. I travel a lot in this airline and this is the first flight that had that odor. I will fly again and if that continues I will consider changing the airline."

The experience of flying in a Dreamliner was pretty cool in coach, first class looked more like the dream. Quite a massive difference!"

RJ -Amman gave us 2 weeks ahead of flight oyr set seat K19 and H19 when we arrived 2.5 hr ahead of boarding they told me you have 2 saparet seats.. I told her that my Mom is sick and that I have already sets seat she told me I dont know this is what you have now then i asked for supervisor /another lier who told me that they have no seats and after waiting she gave us 2 seats by each other .. I told her my Mom had problem in her back n knee and I need 1st raw for her she said the dont have while when we boarded there was 1 empty seat in front of us whole flight ....they come from culture of friend and family comes first.. so they give and keep seats for their friend and family ...such a shame.. My Mom suffered from burning and nummbing the whole flight and arrived Amman sick .Will never choose RJ again ."

Cons: "Delayed at Ohare by an hour. Sitting on the Tarmac for a half hour in Reagan, waiting for a gate. This was our leg back to DC, after our leg to Chicago four days previously. On that trip I did a review and gave the whole trip a 1 out of 5 stars. That trip was the trip from hell, with delays, waiting on the Tarmac, deplaning, almost cancelled, more waiting on the Tarmac, wheels up in Reagan, wheels down in ORD, and then more Tarmac waiting for a gate. So I was already more than perturbed when this trip had similar outcomes."
