Cons: "I fell sick and my doctor advised against flying. Tried calling Swiss Air and JustFly.com: 6 calls back and forth and 7 hours on hold, no help. Finally got advised on driving to the airport to make the flight change at the Swiss Air counter at O’Hare. The representative told me to bring a note from doctor to switch flights. I did the next day. The same representative looked me in the eye after advising the day before and said there’s nothing she could do. Why make an elderly sick person drive to the airport again if you know already you cannot help??Absolutely terrible experience, no help from the airline or travel agency. Total loss of the full price of the ticket."

Cons: "The crew responsible for boarding did not provide timely information (especially on who boarding order) and "made up" for this lack of communication by yelling and screaming at passengers as if they were cattle."

Cons: "I had a carry-on sized bag which would have fit in the overhead compartment. I was told that it would not fit the Swiss Air compartment, thus was forced to check it at the gate. I expressed my concern that it would get lost (thus the reason I never opt to check bags) and was assured "They are very efficient in Zurich." When we arrived in Madrid, my bag was not at the carousel. I was told at Customer Service that it was on another flight, but that they could deliver it to my Airbnb between 4-7 pm. I had to wait there instead of enjoying my vacation to wait for my bag. The bag did not arrive until 10:30 pm. I did not have my clothes or belongings with me all day. Swiss Air in particular needs to update their overhead compartment regulations, as my bag definitely would have fit there, and could have avoided this entire situations."

Pros: "Flight attendants were friendly, and also very skilled so that their service was unobtrusive, graceful, and helpful. They took great care to get people what they wanted, and I saw them fulfill a few special requests from the people around me politely and quickly. The entertainment selections were good. The variety of interesting musical selections allowed me to go the whole flight without running down the battery on any of my own musical devices. The seat space was comfortable, especially compared to domestic flights I've taken for the last 10 years. The enforcement of carry-on luggage rules meant the overhead compartments were sufficient for what was brought aboard and people weren't filling the foot-space with bags."

Relatively little communication from American whose flight it was. Scheduled departure 10 PM. Actual departure 1:30 AM I reserved a center aisle seat in a row that was completely empty a day or two before departure, hoping to get the whole row. Didn't work out. Just before we closed the doors a couple arrived at the row and took up three of the seats. Darn it. But I still got a good nights sleep. Wish there was an option to check N/A on several of the options above. I didn't speak to a crew member. I didn't eat or drink anything. I never turned on the entertainment system."

I had to exit use the external train (which was delayed) and go through the very slow Terminal 5 security. Almost missed my ORD-LHR flight (arrived at the gate after the official closing time)"

Cons: "I regularly fly between Chicago and London and dread having to get on AA90. The planes are ridiculously old with barely any legroom and no seat-back entertainment. On this occasion, my friend sitting next to me, who is 5'10" had his knees right up against the seat in front. When the passengers in front reclined it was almost impossible to get comfortable. There is no seat-back entertainment. For some this may not be a big deal, what with iPads and other devices, but it speaks to AA's failure to consider it's customers comfort and ease on long-haul flights."

Cons: "Flight to Stockholm was cancelled. SAS Provided no informaton on the steps for re-scheduling my flight. I had to call the SAS headquarters in Stockholm before receiving any guidance on what to do next. All service attendants ditched the ticketing desk leaving one poor employee to answer questions for over 70 disgruntled passengers. Very very very poor communication. Luckily I was finally able to book a flight using another airline after waiting on hold for 20 minutes with the regional customer service provider."

Because we did not notice this until we got to our apartment we found that it is not possible to make acclaim, rather you just have to make a general complaint with a response according to SAS likely in 3 weeks. This process took over an hour of my time. The three tel numbers given to report damage are in Scandinavia and not much use when travelling within the UK."

We were later diverted for a person on the flight who had health issues all the way back to Canada when we were practically over Ireland. We flew back I believe an hour and a half back only to not have proper fuel equipment which took fueling forever and caused our crew to go past their duty day which made use get diverted again to Iceland for a new crew and even more gas. We were held on the plane for a total of 8 additional hours! We were never allowed to get off the plane, we were given very minimal food and drink the additional 8 hours, and when my girlfriend asked what was going on your information person in Copenhagen said they had no idea what was going on with my Flight and had no idea where it was."

Cons: "We waited an hour in the plane before take-off and after boarding, during which time the crew deliberately filled the cabin icecold air thick with the highly toxic fumes from the deicing. I got a headache from it. Throughout the process the entertainment units were disabled, when they could have helped distract passengers from this ordeal. The food was disgusting. When the Danish government has repatedly bailed out SAS, it would make a lot more sense for everyone involved to have higher quality Danish products on board for the meals, especially for such things as dairy products."

Then there was a dinner- not bad at all-, a snack later on, and breakfast too, all included. Headphones if you needed them ( lifesaver there as I had temporary misplaced mine), a blanket, and a pillow. The crew was really polite, and there was never more than one person in line for the bathroom."

Getting a completely new ticket was cheaper, but not cheap. With such cost of even minor changes, next time I will look into booking directly with airlines, instead of Kayak; sorry to say that, as I really liked using your service."

I got off my first SAS flight with 15 minutes to make it to a gate 20 minutes away. I will point out I was going to another SAS flight. I booked it, even running when I could. My flight took off without me even though I was only three minutes late and had been assured the flight would be held. At least 12 other people were in the same boat. My rescheduled flight had me do yet another layover and I arrived in Warsaw a full 6 hours late. All because SAS was incompetent to hold their flight for a few minutes."

When I woke up close to landing, I asked for a cup of coffee, which the stewardesses made for me promptly. The flight was smooth, and the good night's rest was refreshing."

Cons: "To whom it may concern, In the last week I have flown Iceland Air three times. In fact had it been up to me, the first time would have been the last. But due to family traveling, our plans were set. So listed below is the detailed description of my horrible travels with your airline as well as all the added expenses it cost me. Due to all of the misshaps with Iceland air I have had in the last couple weeks, I made sure on my returning flight to check in and pick the seats for myself and the family member I was traveling with for my returning flight from Gatwick to Iceland. However when we got the gate, my ticket dinged because they had moved my seat from next to my family to the back of the plane, because they over booked the flight. This has been a disaster only because of this airline. Next time I plan on using British airways, the flight I took with them was amazing and effortless on my part!"

Cons: "no communication from crew and cockpit. we were sitting an hour on the runway without getting info what is going on. almost missed my connection because if the delay, where btw the crew won't give you any information either about connecting flights (e.g. gate#)"

I am in London meeting with clients... and all I have is a sweatsuit. I don't have time to go buy new clothes, so I will look like an idiot in front of my boss and our clients. Cons: "There were so many things wrong with our flight from Gatwick to NYC. The check in staff were rude and homophobic at check in, forcing my partner and I to separate for check in while we watched heterosexual partners check in together freely. The disabled toilet alarm broke as we descended into NYC and we listened to end-of-the-world death sirens as we were landing. It was not communicates that food was a microtransaction on flight and was so overpriced so we went nearly 13 hours without food because the flights were also delayed on the tarmac. The de-icing tow truck in Iceland was broken down so we were delayed two hours on the layover. On return, both Icelandair gates opened late. During the layover we were kettled in hot container units before 20 min before being bussed to the plane and held for 15 minutes. Then, the icing on the cake was landing back at Gatwick and seeing my brand new luggage I bought on the trip damaged with thr back pocked ripped out along the bottom seam. I will never again ride with these rude, price-gouging, apathetic amateurs."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed for 1.5 hours but we were told not to worry, that we would make up the time in the air. We were late landing and I had to run to the gate to catch my connecting flight. Although I made it to the gate on time, Icelandair thought we would arrive later, so they had already given away our tickets. I had to be rerouted and reconnected through England before catching another connection to my final destination. This delayed my arrival to my destination by more than 8 hours. I will never fly Icelandair again!!"

Pros: "This was probably the worst flight I have ever been on (and I have flown internationally a lot - and travel weekly for work purposes Icelandair - hands you a bottle of water and you never see the flight attendant again - this for a 6 hour flight!!!!!! the plane was extremely hot there was no communication to tell people what was going on, that we were late, agents to help - etc etc - nothing needless to say - I will never fly Icelandair again others were worse then us - some had no flight to be redirected too - and side note - the customer service counter at Birmingham - had NO ONE there for over an hour - they had to finally call someone to come down and help the many people there"
Cons: "Icelandair was delayed out of Chicago - but the agent stated our flight would be fine - we would only be arriving 15 min late - and even so - they would "hold" the flight" . We arrived and ran to the gate- people were still boarding - gate was open and the agent said to us and others - oh you are the Chicago people - you have to go to customer service. We find out we have been "bumped" off the flight and placed on a new flight 2 hours later with a non direct flight - we have to go through Birmingham now. We are delayed again out of Iceland and get into Birmingham 1 hour late. We were never told that we had to reclaim our luggage. When we preceded to reclaim our luggage - there was NO luggage. and spent over an hours looking for it Icelandair never put our bags on the plane - and stated they would go on flights sometime the next day - we still have no word"

Cons: "My second flight has been cancelled and replaced by an other flight 8 hours later. I as really annoyed but still I wanted to go out-of the city and visit a little bit. But in the end this flight has been so late that I haven't been able to do it... + no food in the plane (even though I was supposed to arrive in Paris at 1pm and I finally got there at 10.30 pm...)"

Cons: "We didn't fly Icelandair, the flight was delayed more than 5 hours because there not enough passengers. Took an extra day to get to Brussels. Not impressed at all. I will be calling Icelandair for compensation."

Cons: "My flight from ORD to Reykjavik was delayed and so I missed my connection to Glasgow. I was rerouted to Amsterdam and got to Glasgow 7 hours after my original flight. Needless to say my luggage did not make it to Glasgow. I arrived in Glasgow on June 14th and did not receive my luggage until the evening of June 17th only because I went to the airport to pick it up myself instead of waiting for it to be delivered on the 18th. Four days of my 12 days of vacation were spent on the phone tracking down my luggage and worrying about whether I'd ever see it again."

Pros: "Crew had filled overhead lockers with their bags leaving no room for ours"

Cons: "The cabin lights were left on too long for a red eye. Cramped quarters - but that is true of every airline now. We did receive a blanket and pilllow, which was nice. Did not have dinner so can’t comment. Croissant with cream cheese prior to landing was OK Nice smooth flight.Nice pleasant crew"

Cons: "Delay , rebooked on fight. Had to wait 8 hours. I needed a wheelchair .. they put Erin a remote location with a rude assistant in charge of transfers for wheel chairs . She had none. Made me walk 15 minutes to find a place to take my meds. She couldn’t care less."

Pros: "I loved the in flight service and entertainment. Also, the flight had seats that actually reclined and I was able to sleep."
Cons: "I did not like switching airlines between my flights. It caused a lot of confusion and made check in extremely difficult. In addition, my bag was lost between changing companies between flights. Not happy at all."

Cons: "The airline sent me on a wild goose chase through the airport only to end up back at the same counter. They then told me it was too late to check in. Do not book tickets with cheapoair-British Airlines said this releasesthem from all responsibilities and cheapoair will do nothing but send you to different people trying to sell you another flight. It was the worst experience every!"

Pros: "Food was decent and it was nice to have all drinks included (but after the first one you had to go to the galley to get a drink)."
Cons: "Definitely an older plane with very narrow seats and very little legroom compared to other long haul flights that I have been on. They only delivered drinks once and then if you wanted any more you had to climb over people and go to the galley to obtaining yourself. Plane was also very warm so it was hard to get comfortable and there was not much airflow to cool you off."

Cons: "-I was unable to check-in online and I think it's because my name got messed up in the reservation system even though I entered it correctly -Compared to other airlines, BA does not stop by frequently to offer beverages. Food and beverage service provided by BA faded in comparison to what was provided by American Airlines on the way back. - Our flight was delayed due to weather, but we also sat in the plane for a long period of time with no explanation. -We appreciated that BA automatically re-booked us on another flight (although it was not the next flight), and provided 2 meal tickets for 10 euro each. There was no other compensation for the incurred delay (about 2.5 hours)"

Cons: "The width of the seats in economy are so narrow they don't fit my back. I am not a fat person. 6 feet 170 lbs and fit. No legroom and the tray table is not deep enough to support the food tray. Breakfast after an 8 hour flight consisted of a Kellogg's snack bar in a wrapper. I am used to Southwest Airlines which allows more than one peanut bag so I took two breakfast bars and the stewardess scolded me and said only one and made me return my extra. Not everyone in my roll even took a bar. They treat you like dirt in coach."

Cons: "I had been waiting a few hours for my next connecting flight ant at about 8:00 pm (45 minutes before departure), they announce that our flight might be delayed do to mechanical problems on our plane. It took them 4 hours to fix it. Which was not too bad. What was bad is that they lied to us. Because I missed my connecting flight, they said that they would be waiting for us with our new flights and not to worry. When we arrived in London, we were scrambling to find out where to go. there was several families in front of me that missed their flights and they were having problems trying to re-book their flights. It took about 3/4 hours for me (one person) to re-book my London to Glasgow because I was stuck behind families. I was trying to explain one of BA employees that I (1 person) needed a flight to Glasgow. It was getting late and I was worried that I might miss the last flight of the day and would be stuck in London until the next day. She didn't like that I told her that and didn't want to help me. so it took me about 4 hours in line to get my flight and had to rush to get it. I had also purchased a window sit that I was not able to get. The guy that help me re-book my flight told me that I would have to call for that. Which I did now but the first phone # I called, the guy said that I had to call this other #. I called the # he gave me and a recording comes out that they are too backed up with calls and cannot help me to go to the website. At the website, they are asking for the flight # of the re-booked flight (I only have my original flight #'s on my email). I don't know what happened to the ticket they gave me to board the re-booked flight so I don't have it. I don't know where else to call about my refund and also think I deserve some kind of compensation for missing a day at both airports with horrible treatment and service. CAN YOU HELP ME ON HOW TO TALK TO A REPRESENTATIVE ABOUT MY REFUND AND SOME SORT OF COMPENSATION?"
