I was forced into a middle seat and was uncomfortable and dehydrated the majority of the trip. Nice girl at baggage check said she'd ask a manager to move me, and to let them know at the gate, but the people at the gate said no. I felt discriminated against because I didn't book through them and/or I'm not Japanese. They historically love to put mushrooms in their food, like a fetish. This left me with one choice for the entree - some version of oyakodon - eggs and chicken. In my box there were two enormous chunks of fat/skin and another unidentifiable part of the chicken, and about the amount of edible chicken as 1 1/2 nuggets from Chick-Fil-A. There was more lotus root than chicken, so basically I had a box of rice and scrambled eggs with garnish. For the second meal, it was the Yoshinoya gyudon - a small serving of thinly sliced beef with rice. If I bought this fresh at a Yoshinoya restaurant, it would cost about $3. It's the rough equivalent of serving you a McDouble - cheap and filling and a coin toss if you get stomach pains. I lost that coin toss. Unless there is a big fare difference or I find out that their reserved seat policies are changed, I will choose ANA or another carrier. I used to enjoy JAL, but I cannot abide by idiotic decisions that seemed designed to punish people for using 3rd-party booking sites or who are not Japanese."

She was very professional , serving customer with the best she can. Always smiles. I feel good whenever I see her walks by, smile and very professional When the meal was serve but they only had one dish to choose instead of two ( I guess that day Chicken Masala dish was high on demand so there are only Japanese dish left) she said we are so sorry with a very sincere gesture , I chose Japanese food because I like Japanese food anyway , she politely thanks me for my choice and later bring a bag of small mix snack for me and said thank you for being flexible . Later on, when we getting off the airplane she even helped me to stroll my carry on out to the airplane because I was carry too many stuffs with me and my daughter being so tired of the long flight so I have to comforted my daughter . The stewardess saw that and helping me a hand . I wish every airlines has someone like this crew member . Thank you so much for the awesome service on Japan Airlines."

I literally arrived to the front desk 15 minutes before the plane departed. The ladies at the front desk were very aware of my urgency and walked me threw the crew line and got me to my gate without a missed flight. I cannot thank you enough for the kind and generous work you do."

The entertainment is good but frustrating that it is constantly interrupted with announcement about everything. I have never heard that many on any other plane. The announcement about customs paperwork was long and done 2 times in English and 2 times in Arabic. There safety video is soooo long and again is done in two languages. It was just all too much. Besides that everything was great."

With normal airlines, you realize your luggage which has been slightly overweight or over sized will be able to pass through without incurring any penalties. So any saying of rules are lame excuses and are shitty airlines’ lame excuses. The thing is good airlines will delay their flight a few minutes to wait for the passenger. If this is considered too needy of a requirement, then what happens next will shock you and reaffirm you how wrongful and shady this airline is. After missing the flight despite you arrived before the departing time, you have to purchase a full price ticket in order to fly again. As I declined to fly with them again since the ticket is too pricey and repurchased a ticket with another airline, they came up with an excuse that in order to release my luggage, they have to reissue a new flight ticket: so I have to pay both a luggage release fee and a flight ticket fee!!! What a gold digger Qatar Airway is haha. Luckily as I protested, they eventually didn’t make me to pay for a new flight ticket fee except a luggage release fee (really?). The sales office quoted a price of $250 to the luggage office. Then it took me a few minutes to get to the sales office. Strange thing happened, despite I mentioned the communication they are aware of, they are trying to find some “RULES” again to validate that I have to pay for an air ticket. Cons: "I didn't like how we were 20 minutes early yet after 1.5 hours of sitting on the Tarmac that I missed my connection by a few minutes. I wish the crew hadn't falsely informed the passengers onboard that the other planes would be delayed with the communication issue @ Reagan (DC)."

Cons: "Washington airport grounded our flight for no apparent reason while we were on the runway in Indy about to take off, then didn't tell us when we could expect the delay to end."

Pros: "The crew on board the air craft was great"
Cons: "The Indianapolis to JFK trip was the first of three legs. My bags were only checked to JFK. I have a badly broken ankle and needed a wheel chair. I could not manage my luggage and crutches. It forced me to take a taxi to the international terminal, then ask strangers for help with my luggage once I got there. I am extraordinarily displeased!!!! I will not fly American again."

Pros: "Easy boarding, im about 6'3 so i was a bit uncomfortable being in the middle seat (not airlines fault) overall good first experience."
Cons: "Would have liked to be able to sit by my spouse being my first time on an airplane. Wasnt an option?"

Pros: "As always, the staff was courteous and efficient. I never have any problems when I fly American Airlines. I often book my flights specifically for American Airlines when I can."

Pros: "I liked the smooth ride, and engaging captain. We didn't hit much turbulence, even if it is uncontrollable. Takeoff and landing was smooth and put my worries about flying to rest."

Pros: "Senior flight attendant and pilots were friendly and competent as were the checkin personnel. We also appreciated the fact that the flight was on schedule. Lastly, we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of coach."

Pros: "The airline used senior crew that was excellent. The entertainment was very good, but could use more bingeworthy titles. Great carry on room."
Cons: "Food and snack offerings were paltry and and standard. More for a domestic flight. No warm snacks nor extra snacks, just leftovers. So bring your own. There should be a bit more pitch for economy. Economy plus was just equal to what is economy on other ultra long flights. No amenity kit and only gave tiny blankets. Bathroom only had soap so bring lotions and other products."

Pros: "Nothing, worst experience I’ve ever had traveling. Up for nearly 2 days and with no help from the local airport staff."

Cons: "Crew members on all 37 United flights that I have taken in the past 19 months have been rude, unpleasant and grumpy. They do not accommodate modern methods of making children comfortable in seats, such as the use of jetkids and jetbox accessories. I have experienced lies (yes, I’ll be back with more water! Sure, I’ll check for some eye wash for your wife.), misleading (embellishing rules, enforcing rules that do not exist) and overall terrible behavior. With the exception of a few ground crew members who’ve shone through, my interactions with United staff have not been good."

Cons: "Policies about ultra economy tickets sucked. I'm certain I was warned multiple times in the fine print about the hazards of buying a cheap ticket. The fact I was forced to spend money to check a bag and given undo stress about whether or not I'd get bumped because you're not allowed advanced check-in or guaranteed seats with basic economy ticket is not right. Seems the price should simply be the cost to guarantee a basic flight (two carry-on's, guaranteed seat assignment, advanced check-in) so folks can opt out and go for a cheaper ticket on another airline that offer a cheaper fare for the above mentioned guaranteed basic flight options. Felt like a bait and switch."

Cons: "The plane is too small, I'm 6 foot 4 inches tall and there no leg room, my leg was raising the middle arm rest, I apologized to the guy next to me...he was cool about it. The plane does not absorb turbulence very well. That plane is to small for a flight that is a little over 2 hours"

And when we were heading for London half way, the pilot said some sensors stopped working and we had to come back to Dulles. To be honest, I will never take UA flights anymore, it is just TERRIBLE!"

Cons: "Actually I never got a flight to Seattle yesterday. My flight was cancelled and was on hold with United for over 2 hours only to have them tell me they could rebook for two days later. They said that was the only option in the whole Midwest on all airlines. I don't believe them. Horrible customer service. Ive had nothing good to say about United. I am supposed to fly through Newark tomorrow to Seattle and I hope that flight isn't cancelled because I've already missed two days of work. I am very displeased right now. No compensation either."
