I used to every time get excited to fly with Thai. this time i had two Thai connections between Tokyo - Bankgkok and Bangkok-Delhi, both times my two young minor children were automatically seated away from me and each other also during checkin process. it took a lot of time and convincing the agent to get my own children seated with me on long international flights! Food service was worse than expect for name of Thai airways!"

I travelled several times in Qatar, but never had this kind of experience."

Extra comfort with wider seats. And priority boarding as well. This was more like premium economy that you get with European airlines. For long haul flights, well worth the cost. Flight was delayed 2 hours, but Delta had their own special route in Shanghai airport to bypass a lot of the crowds either transferring or checking in for fight. I wouldn’t have made my connecting flight if they hadn’t. Plus my checked bags went straight thru to my final destination in china,n instead of having to pick up and re-check them in Shanghai."

Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

Economy class had to wait inside the plane while business class was let out and shuttled first because the plane parked out away from building and we had to walk down steep stairs and then ride a shuttle bus to the building."

Cons: "I fly economy class with United and Lufthansa when I travel from the US to Asia or Europe. Lufthansa seats feel narrower. I am only 1.62 meters in height. I felt there was not enough room for a 12+ hour flight (delayed by one hour). The small leg room began to take a toll after 6 hours of flight."

Cons: "Frankfurt Airport - Awfully long walk. We took a bus between the airplane and the airport when arriving and departing from FRA, with a long walk between drop-off and boarding spots. I had to wonder if the walk across the tarmac between the 2 airplanes would have been shorter than the walk in the airport?"

Pros: "Smooth flight, very nice, polite crew, good entertainment selection. I'm a tall guy so I'll always complain about comfort lol. Food was OK. Choice of mystery pasta and once beef once chicken ( I had pasta twice )."

Cons: "Greek managers who hate Macedonian flyers. On purpose he took our carry-on bags for check-in when I said that I had things that can be broken inside. Both bags were bellow 8 kg and we ware family of 3. Our bags were approved by Luftansa on check-in an we have them as carry-on bags from SFO. Two precious trophies was broken because of this. He did this when he saw our Macedonian passport although first the Luftansa lady said bags are ok. I will never fly with Agean Luftansa ever again."

Cons: "The window seats are not comfortable like in other planes. The windows are too high, you don't see anything. The seat is too far from the window so you cannot lean towards it. For a 10 hour flight it was not comfortable."
