Cons: "SAS has introduced hand luggage measurement and weighing at checkin, for a maximum of 17.5 lbs or 8 kg. SAS does not care if you have flown on another transatlantic carrier, which allows more than 8 kg. Then you need to start emptying your hand luggage at checkin. The whole checkin process was a big mess, the contract employees eg. at Heathrow do not help much (they probably do not do this to any other airline). SAS staff does not remind you to take your IDs and passport, medications etc. from your hand luggage, which is then checkedin luggage as opposed to hand luggage. It is obvious that transatlantic passengers have more hand luggage than many local passengers."

They described how they waited until group 3 was called and then went right through. While we were waiting, we watched them do it again. If you need to cram people into tiny spaces to be profitable, then you cannot allow them to make it worse by putting back their seats. I spent 90 minutes with a seat back jammed into my chest. We were ignored when handing out snacks, probably because we were invisible behind the seats pushed in our faces. It was one of the most miserable flights I’ve experienced."

Cons: "I was apparently "flagged" by British Airways for extra security checks. As I understood it in London, I was randomly selected for this security check. This then apparently meant that I was to be flagged for all subsequent flights. This meant that in Chicago, after going through two other security checks that day (Zurich and London) and completing customs, I had to engage in a full Homeland security check. This involved removing protective covers from my laptop and phone that were hard to get off (not meant to be taken off regularly) and a full body search that I did not have to do in London. After many hours of traveling, this was very a frustrating experience."

Most of the announcements in flight were muffled and hard to hear. The safety speech was really quite terrible. I think someone was torturing her to do it. It was really quite painful to listen to....."

There were only 2 people helping on check in (in machines) and these people were still not helping people (like me) with questions about on how to do check in in those machines. On the other hand to dispatch the bags there were almost 8 attendants to receive the bags. Ridiculous! I’ve tried calling American Airlines and Latam several times to assign a seat for me and they swore there were only middle seats but I know how airlines work to make extra money on these seats. At the end, they only gave me a middle seat option and I had to take I.t of course. On the plane I realized there were dozens of empty seats and yet they made sure not give them to me or anyone else. Unbelievable! Unfortunately I still have to use AA on my way back to Brazil. After this, I’ll chose another airlines for sure. Also, the 3,4,3 arrangement is ridiculous: there’s no corridor space making people touching you everything someone passes by your seat. And boy! Those seats are so uncomfortable and there’s no way to incline the chair so you can even have a little rest (because it’s impossible to even sleep on those seats). The crew were simply doing their jobs! No pleasure! No smile! No engaging with anyone unfortunately! They looked miserable and I asked for water and the flight attendant NEVER brought me anything. Seriously! Water is free!"

The plane was not clean and I actually picked up a virus on the plane and am still sick. I wiped down all of the surface area around my seat and still got sick. Cons: "AA used a ground hold in ICT. Was told connection to Flint would not be a problem. When I got off of plane in Chicago the flight Flint had already pushed back. Could either wait for the next Flint flight that would get in at about midnight and risk not having a rental car or take an earlier flight to Detroit and pay $85 for dropping rental car off at Flint."

I certainly wouldn’t chose to fly them again if I had an alternative tho they are better than that horror Vueling whose seats were so close together that I was unable to sit with my legs straight because the leg room was so little."

Cons: "The plane was an Airbus 330. I'm 6'2" and was uncomfortable in the seat for 7 1/2 hours. My knees hit the seat in front, and later the person there reclined to make things even worse. Since I couldn't slouch, my head was far above the seat back. I realize airlines are squeezing space and this trend will continue. It's become an accessibility problem for me."

After flying my first segment with British airways, I wondered if the Spanish airline could keep up with BA's standards. Well, Iberia not only met the standards, but raised the bar! I am not sure if the fact that this was a day flight (unlike BA's red eye trip) or the fact that it took 2 more hours, but the crew served a full lunch, a snack AND a light meal, when with British i only received one full dinner and a morning snack."

Cons: "Very poor customer service at Iberia check in combined with a very large airport with no info on my receipt from Kayak telling me which terminal I was in resulted in needing a full three hours to get from arriving at the airport to getting to my gate. Long line to check in and the person checking me in told me I could not check hiking pools. I asked twice because I thought I couldn't carry them on. I waited in line for the security check and they told me I couldn't carry on my pools. Went back to check in and a person managing the line told me to go to a check in desk at the end. I waited there for 15 minutes and then when he finished with the family he was helping he told me he was on break and walked away. Went back to the woman that told me to go to him, she offered no apology and told me to wait back in the check in line. I then needed help to get back in the security line because my pass wouldn't scan, then had to take a tram to get to the correct gate (this is after taking a subway and then a shuttle bus to get to the right terminal). It is very unlikely I will fly Iberia again. The night before it took almost one hour for them to get luggage off the plan on a small local flight. Boarding both to and from Madrid was also disorganized and no one at the desk ensured that only people in a given boarding group were in line. Another source of frustration is that this was booked through Finnish air (code share?) so I could not check in on line or choose my seats."

Pros: "I was first in zone three to enter the craft. Still overhead bins!!"
Cons: "Worrying about overhead bins!"

Pros: "Our flight was cancelled due to wind. 35kts, didn't seem like a lot. They also said that Vancouver airport was experiencing bad weather too, but it seems like it was ONLY Air Canada flights that got cancelled that day. The next flight they wanted to put us on was 2 days later. We missed our connecting flight which cost us $3300 to change dates on."

Pros: "Fairly comfortable flight. I enjoyed the new shading windows with no physical shutters"
Cons: "I did not like the glass in my food. I mentioned it to the flight attendent and she said I probably have nothing to worry about but took my information down."

Pros: "chairs and plane service was good and friendly ."
Cons: "the food was not good"

Cons: "When I bought the ticket I thought it was air Canada but it was air Canada rouge so no food no entertainment tried to download air Canada app but took about an hour to get 10 percent done so flew with no entertainment no drinks no food nothing. Boarding was a pain had a three year old also had to pay extra 50 dollars for my baggage. Typical air Canada nonsense. Would not use them again."

Pros: "This was a very pleasant flight. The attendants were excellent. The plane was clean. The food was fantastic . The entertainment system made the flight go by better. Over all an excellent experience"

Cons: "The long wait on the aircraft after all passengers and crew were on board waiting for the oxygen tank to arrive."

Pros: "There was nothing unpleasant"
Cons: "Long walk from terminal F and it wasn't well maked"

Pros: "Able to get onto this earlier flight rather than waiting an additional 4 hours in the Toronto airport."
Cons: "Uncomfortable and cramped. Volume on the intercom system was extremely loud (startlingly so) and crew speak so quickly it was still difficult to catch. He actually sounded more like a Scottish auctioneer. The flight couldn't arrive soon enough."

Pros: "Most parts of the flight were normal - nothing exceptional or problematic"

Pros: "The plane took off and landed on time."
Cons: "The food was terrible and the staff were in there own world and not particularly polite. Hand luggage was not managed so the bins were rammed. Some people had 3 pieces of large hand luggage. Food was the worse I have had on any flight. I would rather pay and have something edible. On 2 of my 3 flights the staff were so wrapped up in there own life's, they did not manage to finish the safety checks before taking there seat. Overall a poor experience."

Cons: "Extreme delays on my return flight which made me miss my connection and get rebooked on another flight for the next day. We were delayed on departure, then on the tarmac, then in the air, and finally when getting off the plane. I am glad that I was rebooked and was given a hotel to stay at, but I did not like the way I was treated by Air Canada staff at customs. I passed through customs only to be sent back into Canada after having crossed through security because the staff decided to close. We were told by other staff members that it was up to them to decide when they were done and to talk them. I ran through the whole airport with about 7 other people to make it. Why make us cross through security only to send us back? There was no one there to guide us on what to do. I had to go through the whole thing again the following day only to have my face cream taken away (it is technically cream, not a liquid) and then be detained. None of this happened AT ALL the day before. I'd give more details but it was a complete mess."

Pros: "Inexpensive flight, good connections, decent food, and professional and friendly flight attendants and service."

Pros: "Long slow lines. Insufficient signage for US Global Entry. Too few and slow US Customs. Largest plane ever flown to Florida from Northeast."

Pros: "That we ended the trip safely."
Cons: "Paid the trip to Lufthansa and flown with Rouge not even Air Canada ! Big disappointment, never again."

Cons: "Nothing! They treated me like garbage; the plane never left; I went on an inferiors third class airline from First with now refund; and they lost all of my luggage for over a week! I looked like a fool to my clients and peers!"

Cons: "Our flights were switched twice. Ended up paying for seats on an added interim flight to Chicago. Not good. Do not like surprises."

Cons: "Confusion at boarding, delays and turbulence the whole ride so they did not serve beverages."

Pros: "Got to fly on a brand-new 787, which was terrific! And service was excellent by all crew members. We had an overall great experience!"

Cons: "Bag damaged. No one to report damage to"

Pros: "The airline was aware we were held up in the transit from the boston flight to the victoria flight and made some effort to hold the gate open for us. We made it with one minute to spare."
Cons: "The airport security were helpful in the end, but our our struggle to get from the boston flight to the victoria flight was a nighmare. We had to beg at each intersection to get through lines so that we could get to our flight. Is ther no way to streamline this process? It colours the journey with stress beyond belief. I cannot send my mother on any such trips because of this."

Pros: "The fact that there were several vacant seats helped with finding room to stretch out."
Cons: "Nothing in particular."

Cons: "Worse pizza ever! A 5 hour flight with not even a free snack. Shame on Air Canada. You should fly KLM or Air France to learn what food should be like on an airline, and customer service. Within Europe or overseas, no charge for great food, free alcohol and smiling staff."

Pros: "Crew were nice."
Cons: "I had a window seat and there really wasn't a lot of leg room because of how the body of the plane curves. Food was ok. Not a lot of elbow room to eat."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "There was a thunderstorm & a wreck that morning, so even though we planned to arrive 90 minutes before boarding we ended up not making it until avout 62 minutes before flight time. They only had one gate agent and she stepped away before we could check in. Assuming she'd be right back, we waited for her instead of checking in by terminal. By the time she returned it was too late to check in and they wouldn't let us board. Air Canada didn't have another flight until the next day, so we had to spend $5000 to re-book our flight on a different airline."

Cons: "On Time and the service was awesome. Best red eye flight to Toronto."

Cons: "Entertainment system. Spacious seating for economy class."

Pros: "Entertainment was excellent. Water was offered."
Cons: "Service was desultory at best. Eg. Had to pass by crew on East to bathroom and they barely moved out of the way and continued their chitchat as if I didn't exist."

Cons: "Lack of entertainment . Unfriendly staff. Flight was long and crew did not ask passengers to close shades in order to sleep."

Pros: "In spite of the issues with the equipment (screens & lights) he crew was very reactive and listen to our request."
Cons: "The screens of an entire row didn't work at all making it impossible to watch movies, listen to music or watch the flight's info. On top of that, when I wanted to read, I figured the light above my seat did not work either."

Cons: "The plain didn't have tv and bearly got drinks on the plain"

Cons: "My one checked bag did not arrive,. And when I reported it, there was no tracking for it. It was stressful because I had one night before I was leaving for a back country trip and the " lost" bag had " no hits" when the bar Cade was scanned. So I spent hours trying to find someone who could assist me. I lost one whole vacation day dealing with the bag issue. Sure wish I could get some compensation."

Pros: "Comfort of seats and spaciousness of the plane"
Cons: "Agent off loaded me and only me from return flight with zero reason. Second flight I was put on was delayed 2 hours. Sat for 5 hours in the airport for a 1 hour domestic flight. Customer service was terrible. Emailed Air Canada 4 days ago and have yet to recover any response."

Pros: "May eventually get home."
Cons: "Damn Turkey political instability!"

Cons: "Service is absolutely poor. Pathetic. I asked to take away my cup of water. They said we will be back. That point did not arrive till the flight landed."

Pros: "They had a wheelchair accessible for me and delivered me to my waiting party."

Pros: "IT was a good non stop flight. A little uncomfortable for long legged people---but OK. We really liked the NON STOP Thank you AIR CANADA Erica Ann and Nicholas"

Cons: "My flight was cancelled. I had a wedding to attend on Saturday morning and could only be rebooked on a flight the next day at 3:10pm. I wanted to simply cancel the flight that I was automatically rebooked on; however, I have been on hold with customer service for HOURS and can not get through. I have never experienced such terrible customer service."
