Entry restrictions
Lebanon has reopened its airports with limited capacity.
People traveling to Lebanon will be required to comply with testing and self-isolation measures to reduce the spread of coronavirus. Check with the airline and Lebanese embassy before booking.
Entry requirements
Travelers 12 and over who are arriving from countries with PCR testing capability will be required to take a PCR test within 96 hours prior to travel and take another test on arrival. Certain airlines are covering the cost of this test whilst others may not.
Travelers 12 and over who are arriving from countries without PCR test capability will be required to have a test on arrival. The test costs USD $100 and is covered by some airlines. Travelers will be required to self-isolate, and must take a second PCR test 72 hours after arrival at their own expense. If both tests are negative, no further self-isolation will be required.
From December 22, travelers from the UK will be subject to supplementary COVID-19 measures in addition to the ones already in place. They will be required to take a PCR test at Beirut International Airport upon arrival (which is provided at the airline’s expense), and then self-isolate at their accommodation for 72 hours before taking another PCR test and wait in self-isolation for the results. If both tests are negative, they may leave self-isolation. The same measures apply to Lebanese and resident foreign nationals arriving from Iraq.
Travelers arriving from Syria, Turkey and all African countries, must proceed to their accommodation and quarantine for 48 hours, until they receive the results of a PCR test conducted at the airport.
Travelers arriving from Iraq must have a hotel reservation confirmation for 72 hours for either Golden Tulip Hotel, Kanaan Hotels, Lancaster Hotels, Radisson Blu Martinez or Radisson Blu Verdun. This does not apply to nationals and residents of Lebanon.
Travelers who test positive will have to self-isolate and follow Ministry of Health guidelines.
Travelers who left Lebanon for a period not exceeding one week will be exempt from PCR testing on their return.
Travelers are required to download the Government of Lebanon application "MOPH Ma3an" on their mobile phone and complete a health declaration form before departure, and must have insurance for their whole stay in Lebanon, which will cover in full the costs of medical treatment in case they test positive for coronavirus.
Quarantine requirements
Travelers are subject to a 7-day quarantine. The first 48 hours of quarantine must be spent at a Government of Lebanon approved hotel, while travelers wait for the results of their PCR test on arrival. When they receive their airport test result, if it is negative, they may move to their accommodation. They must continue to quarantine at their accommodation before taking another PCR test (that they must arrange yourself) a week after their arrival. If both tests are negative, they may leave quarantine. Diplomats and their families, official delegations and UNFIL officers are exempt from the quarantine measures, as well as those who have received the COVID-19 vaccination, on the condition that they have proof of vaccination and take a PCR test on arrival as a precautionary measure.
Travelers arriving from Baghdad, Istanbul, Adana, Cairo or Addis Ababa are subject to 7-day quarantine at a Government of Lebanon approved hotel.

Pros: "N/a"
Cons: "N/a"
Pros: "Crew was great"
Cons: "Out of mango juice and the plane was too old."
Pros: "It was just a lovely airplane with a lovely crew. Also, good airplane food."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Everything"
Pros: "Stewardesses were more helpful on this flight than we had experienced on the previous flights. However their resources were limited. landed safely."
Cons: "Food on the four different flights (from DFW to Doha on to Cape Town and then from Johannesburg to Doha on to DWF) was not good at all. Timing of meals, food all below expected. One flight attendant trying to serve both meal and drink to each person took a lot of time. Snacks offerings were almost non-existent. Those of us traveling on three connecting flights with no time to purchase food nor water had a rough time of it. Would not fly Qatar nor connect in Doha again unless absolutely necessary."
Pros: "They don't charge you for any seat in economy class"
Cons: "The boarding process feels very hostile, they are not nice and you are threaded as a terrorist (while they smile at you during the process). Since a new policy of TSA according to them, you cannot take your computer with you in the plane. This means that working in your way back is very hard and you will be loosing the day which is very uneficient. But what was even worse, is that they didn't allow me to check my bag in the last connection gettting to the US, instead they made me check it from my original destination which made me loose almost two days of work without giving me a logic response on why I couldn't check my bag from my inbound flight to the US. By the way, this protocol from TSA is terrible. No internet in their flights No chargers plugs in all of their flights (including the ones that take you more than 4 hours) Lunch in their 15 hours flight is mediocre, everyone was starving since they only gave us one mini empanada."
Cons: "I was Told the flight form Doha back to Houston was over booked so I had to get re-routed through another city. For a $6,600 business class ticket this is very bad form."
Pros: "Quick and easy boarding and decent crew."
Cons: "Food wasn't great, but edible. No options for a vegan who didn't choose a vegan meal as the flight was booked last minute. Unhealthy food."
Pros: "Everything was great except the plane from Doha to Beirut it was too small with no seat screens and bad c music channels and non-comfortable seats !! :( otherwise everything was great !! I like Qatar airlines and don't hesitate to travel with them again Thank you"
Pros: "The aircraft was kinda old.. There was no usp plug to charge ur phone. . This was an issue for me. . I was out of charge and i wanted to make some calls after landing"
