Cons: "This 6:00 am flight consistently leaves the gate more than 10 minutes early. The ticket counter shuts down promptly (and in some cases even earlier) 40 minutes prior to departure. If you don't have your boarding pass in hand, you are out of luck even though the ground crew is about 10 feet from you and can see you through the glass. The airport clocks at Lewiston airport are all 3 minutes slow, except for the clocks in the TSA area which are all 5 minutes fast. Reported to the airline and to the Airport manager, Robin Turner, who was extremely condescending and rude to our party, even though we were trying to pass on information that the Airline employees had complained about the issue for months."

Arrived to my connecting gate 10 Minutes prior to scheduled departure with no delta attendants in sight and watched my plane sit at the gate and pull away with no way to get on board. Now I’m waiting unnecessarily for 4 hours on another flight."

Cons: "Rather than pay luggage fees, people are bringing on their luggage and the flight ALWAYS runs out of space. Suitcases are being moved around right at people heads and more than once I've been hit and seen other people be hit in the head by a suitcase. Getting luggage in place used to be a simple and minor issue, now it occupies much of the time, energy, and attention of the cabin crew as well as the gate crew. I realize this is making money for Delta but the cost is being paid by people being hit in the head with luggage and the crew's unavailability to deal with other issues."

Specifically, was were traveling with guitars and they gave us no hesitation to board early in order to Stowe our instruments safely. They were very pleasant during serving and with requests. The offerings of movies and TV were excellent and extensive."

A surprise for us was being asked if we would like to move seats from the back of the aircraft to Comfort Economy (we think it was to do with weight balance! but appreciated very much none the less). Cons: "Our flight was originally scheduled for departure at 7:45 PM. We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas."

I emailed American Airlines last week but hadn’t gotten a response yet so when they announced that we would exit by stairs, I was almost in tears as I gathered my belongings. To my surprise, American Airlines had a ramp for us to use. I don’t know it it was a coincidence or if they responded that quickly knowing I was on the plane through todays’s technology. I will be a fan and a customer forever."

That began a 14 hour nightmare of bumping between flights and delays and the inevitable lost luggage. Paid for $300 hotel room at Vancouver that I will get to stay in for 4 hours. About 10 minutes later they said to come back and board. You shouldn’t have made us wait in the freezing cold unless you knew the plane was ready to board"

Cons: "The crew at the gate was really rude. Zero customer service. She raised her voice at us and another customer who was charged $50 for our carry on. Not only was the flight delayed for over 2 hours. We were not informed that we could not bring a carry on even when we were at the main entrance with an agent for over 30 mins when you entered the airport. All their staff needs new training everyone kept on giving us a different answer. We asked because of this delayed will our room be comp due to the fact we will be missing our connected flight. On the phone the agent said yes. When we got to the airport that agent said no. When we got on the plane that agent said no. When we landed in Denver that agent comp our room. We ended up booking a room making sure we had a place to stay at night. It created more work for us because we were trying to cancel our room took even more time. Definitely wanted to give United the benefit of the doubt that they were at least at the level of American Airlines. The last time we flew United it was delayed for 8 hours they ended up canceling the flight. When we called they said it was the weather and we told that agent it's mechanical issue because we are watching someone remove the engine. We will stick to American Airlines. Free entertainment."

Pros: "Get to Denver, they tell me I don't have a seat, they asked me if I wanted to fly out the next day because they over booked met three other people who had been there for 10hrs because they did the same thing to them! One girl told me they told her it was because we paid less then other people! A nice couple stayed so I could come home. I was pissed! My daughter flew into Houston, the flight was late getting in to LA, by two hrs, missed her connecting flight to San Luis Obispo, her sister had to drive down 4hrs to pick her up and drive back because she had work! Not happy!!!!"

Cons: "Despite wearing a down coat, scarf, and hat, and holding my bag in my lap, I was freezing cold the entire flight. This was after the flight attendant let me move towards the back of the plane so I could be warmer than sitting up towards the doors. A December 6am flight with no heat? Ridiculous!"

Cons: "United operated the ROR-GUM. Philippine Airlines operated the GUM to MNL segment. Checked baggage could not be transferred in GUM. Checked bags had to be picked upnin baggage claim and rechecked with PR. Should not have been listed as a joint fare."

Cons: "It was so cold on this flight. Like ice cold. It wasn't just me, I traveled with 3 other people who were spread out on the plane and all of them noted the sub zero temperatures."

Pros: "I liked the equipment, very comfortable. The actual entertainment was alright, but it would be better to have the movies start when one is ready, and not on a fixed schedule. Plenty of bathrooms."
Cons: "We were quite shocked that we couldn't check in on-line. We spent literally hours, even brought a computer with us on a day-trip so we would be the regular 24 hrs before. Then tat also changed to 23 hours, then we were denied completely. This is very old-fashioned and really unacceptable. Why???"

Cons: "Late night flight to begin with then mechanical issues so more delay which made it later. Chicago ground folks were very good at keeping us informed on the status."

Cons: "Boarding group announcrments were hard to understand. Aisle were full of people getting settled and nobody could move. Loading back to front makes more sense."

Pros: "All crew members were extremely friendly from boarding to being on the flight, even the captain. When there was a small delay from so control flight attendants had provided great resources for people with connecting flights (they even offered their own phones with the United app to look up connecting flight information). The little waffle treats that were handed out for free were delicious and a nice break from the pretzels other airlines usually pass out."
Cons: "The space between my seat and the seat in front was very small and I'm not a big person. My seat wouldn't even recline during the flight to give me just a few extra inches."

And I was stuck in an unfamiliar airport for 10 hours waiting for a new flight through another airline. Oh and dod I mention the bag they lost for a whole day was 50lbs of fresh Alaskan seafood and yes it all was thawed.... I will never fly United airlines again."

Cons: "Flight cancelled due to weather at ohare despite the fact that many other flights were still going. First delayed, sat around for hours, then cancelled almost 3 hours post scheduled departure time. No hotel voucher provided. Rebooked, but not done correctly so when I tried to check in, it was discovered that I didn't actually have a rebooking, requiring additional calls and second rebooking."
