Travelers with invitation of the USA government for a purpose related to the containment/mitigation of the Coronavirus (COVID-19);
Travelers with documents issued by the US Department of Homeland Security, US Customs and Border Protection, or US Department of State indicating that the traveler is exempt from the restriction;
B1 crew crewmembers that are engaged in lightering, Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) activity, wind farm activity, private air/sea crew and other similar crewmember activities;
Students with an F-1 or M-1 visa and their F-2 and M-2 dependents, if they arrive from or have been in Ireland, the UK or Schengen Area in the past 14 days.
All travelers, 2 years of age or older (including US citizens and transit passenger) must present a negative COVID-19 viral or antigen test result issued 72 hours prior to departure or have a proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days prior to boarding the plane.
Travelers must complete a disclosure and attestation form before departure.
Exemptions or waiver to the testing requirements may be granted by the CDC on an extremely limited basis when emergency travel (like an emergency medical evacuation) must occur to preserve someone’s life, health against a serious danger, or physical safety and testing cannot be completed before travel.
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.
Travelers arriving in New York State must complete the Traveler Health Form.
Travelers arriving in Massachusetts must complete the Massachusetts Health Form.
Travelers are advised to get tested 3-5 days after travel and stay home and self-quarantine for 7 days after travel. Even if they test negative, they must still stay home and self-quarantine for the full 7 days. If the test is positive, isolate to protect others from getting infected.
Travelers who did not get tested, are advised to stay home and self-quarantine for 10 days after travel.

So altogether the plane was delayed 4 hours they could have just given us the food on the plane for free."

After calling a supervisor, and that said supervisor never showing up, someone else finally happened to walk by and helped the original person fix the problem. Finally after waiting 5 hours total, I was on my flight home. The first flight was amazing but this flight makes me question if I want to ever use American Airlines in the future."

Cons: "We had some Change of plans and we're going to just get off in Phoenix and not take it straight to San Diego, we called American they said no big deal they would ticket our bags to Phoenix, got to the airport and the American Airlines gal stated in no way shape or form could they do that, I tried explaining the whole situation and her response always ended in 'and your bags will be in San Diego'. By the grace of God we were able to cram two checked bags worth of stuff into our carry ons which I still do not know how we did that, and were fine. On the flight we had a decently nice lady and a horrible male. When passing out drinks he seemed almost irritated that we had asked for water and rudely gave it to us which was room temperature. He totally skipped the lady in the row with us and got irritated when she asked for a water as well."

Cons: "Late start"
Cons: "The plane had mechanical issues. they flew the plane that had mechanical issues to a Honolulu. spent eight hours in a Honolulu. had to catch a redeye to San Francisco. 12 hour layover caused us to have to pay for a rental car to get to our final destination Of Reno. I would hope that there would be some sort of compensation."
Cons: "The seats were so uncomfortable. My neck and lower back hurt afterwards. I do not recommend taking an overnight flight with united or do not expect to sleep if you do."
Pros: "Clean new aircraft, flight attendants pleasant"
Cons: "Bare bones, no entertainment system, beverages offered once in 5 hours, water once. Narrow seats with lots of neighbors elbows."
Cons: "Flight was cancelled out of Hawaii because crew didn't verify if radio equipment worked , changing all our flights and significantly increasing the travel time home. To top it off, they lost our suitcases. I'll never fly with united again ."
