Cons: My one problem, which is not Emirates' problem, is the lady that sat behind me on my way to Dubai in October was unhappy if I reclined my seat at all. I didn't want to cause a problem, so I left it upright - later on, when I walked to the back, I saw her sleeping w/her seat reclined! There was no warning, no packaging to help protect our purchase, and no recourse We arrived in Seattle to find a liqour soaked bag. Very disappointing experience, especially after hearing good reviews of Emirate Air's generally good baggage handling and policies. I was told I 'had to pre-order' the veg meal, although it had never happened in the 10+ long haul 14-hr flights I've taken with Emirates in the past. I was under the impression you only had to pre-order special meals like religious (Jain, Hindu) meals and not the std veg meal. Emirates should advise so while booking a ticket. Secondly the flight attendant who was telling me this was INCREDIBLY rude. This was extremely uncharacteristic from Emirates crew as I had always come across very pleasant flight attendants. This particular attendant constantly, and very indifferently, asked me if I wanted chicken or lamb, despite me repeatedly saying I am a vegetarian. This continued for a couple of minutes, and then she got flustered, rudely asked again if I want to eat or not. I said I am not going to eat a non-veg meal, and then she dragged the tray away. Without offering me any kind of veg alternative (Emirates carries pizzas as well in this long haul flights). I ended up not eating anything for that meal. Extremely unpleasant experience which was not expected from Emirates.
Cons: When I was boarding on my 14 hour flight from Dubai to the US, I was briefly informed by the Emirates boarding staff that my seat had been changed. I had specifically chosen my aisle seat because I like to stand often on long flights, so I was concerned that it had been changed. When I tried to get more information from the staff member, he dismissively said "Ma'am, this is a good seat" and handed me my ticket without even making eye contact. There was no apology or courtesy of any kind. I ended up with a window seat and I had to crawl over two other people throughout the 14 hour flight to use the restroom or stretch my legs. I expected more courtesy from the staff for this kind of inconvenience and will rethink my flight plans in the future to avoid Dubai.

Cons: The boarding process was confusing. Once boarding began, there was no attention paid to distancing guidelines. I heard the crew make announcements about mask requirements but never saw anyone being directly reprimanded or corrected for not wearing a mask or not covering their nose while boarding or walking around the cabin. Even though I only counted fewer than 20 passengers for over 100 seats, upon boarding, three solo passengers were assigned to sit in adjacent seats, with me in the row directly in front of them and another passenger in the row directly behind them. There was no precaution to space out passengers whatsoever. I had tried to choose my seating during check in but the online app was difficult to understand what seats were actually open or taken. Once I boarded it was clear the online information was incorrect. With so few passengers, the gate crew could easily have taken the time to review seating and re-seated customers for improved health and safety. This was my first time flying during COVID and I had thought airlines were doing more to instill trust in customers to keep customers flying but I will not be flying again until COVID is over as I did not see precautions keeping customers safe.

Cons: The request for Wheel Chair at London was never registered...Had to run around with impaired leg on a short connection (1.5 hours). The service for Wheelchair request not being honored saying that there was no such request.

Cons: Bad attitude of an attendant at the airport when inquiring about seat change for medical reasons. Complete ignorance during flight, no water or snack offered to me during 6 hour flight while a flight attendant paid a lot of attention to two ladies sitting close by.
Cons: Our baggage was delayed coming off the plane in Seattle and getting to the carousel. When we were finally able to claim our baggage in customs, the gate said it was too late to re-check them through to Seattle, so they had to re-book us for a later flight. So after 13 hours of travel (with a toddler, which makes everything harder), we had to wait an unexpected 3 hours at Seatac to board a plane home. It was terrible. The BA representative at the baggage claim was incredibly dismissive and rude to everyone. It really was miserable.
Cons: If you want to reserve your airline seat (I'm talking a standard economy seat) you have to pay $34 per seat if it's 24 hours or more before your flight. Guess what happens at 24 hours? The airport takes over and you're stuck in the middle of a crowded 10.5 hour flight all because you weren't able to select your seat ahead of time. Just another money grab from a tanking airline.
Pros: The cabin crew were excellent. The food service was very good. Entertainment choices were abundant and generally good.
Cons: Reaching our connecting flight. The Bataan death march comes to mind—concourse 3 to 5, oh my! Having got through all the hurdles including incomprehensible up, down, up again down again escalator rides and security pat down for my wife we got to Concourse 5 where we learned our plane was leaving from C gates, but not which C gate. So we looked for directions to C gates. The only signage was for C gates 52 to 57. Common sense would lead one to believe that C gates 1 to 51 existed somewhere in the terminal; but no they do not and not many people are aware that they don’t. There has to be a better way. Perhaps before Brexit becomes a reality you could lean on Germany’s vaunted efficiency to help clean up this nightmare scenario.

Cons: Ridiculous last-minute gate change with no notice in Frankfurt forced us to go through security twice and throw away our refreshment purchases. US Customs and Passport Control at Seatac was disorganized and downright surly. My spouse and I were separated on the flight and there is no room for adult bodies to sit with so many seats across without being pressed uncomfortably into strangers for nine hours. It is nearly impossible to sleep under such inhuman conditions. Shame on British Airways for putting profit over service and comfort.

Cons: BA used to be one of my three favorite airlines, especially the international. Sat on tarmac for over 2 hours because no one thought to load luggage of a couple hundred people or de-ice the wings for the sprinkle of snowflakes that terrified London. Cancelled our first flight to London a few hours before we were to leave home and after two hours on the phone, we were instructed to cancel our remaining flights and purchase a connecting flight to our destination ON OUR OWN DIME with the hope BA May reimburse. Had to fly into another COUNTRY, pay for our own hotel room and transfers and got to our final destination a day later, with only crossed fingers BA will take care of some of those expenses or at very least reimburse for the cancelled flight. They Lost our luggage on the way home because of a 2-hour delay (tarmac story above^), because they involved 3 airlines in their efforts to help us connect back home. Staff and crew we saw face to face were great to help...though not all customers shared that experience as we witnessed. Administratively, based on our 2 weeks of multi-country travel with them, BA seems to have lost the ability to manage themselves. 2.5 hour flight from Rome to London has terrible service and we had to ask for water to drink. Everything else was paid...I’m accustomed to that on regionals Euro commuter flights but very surprising on a full-fledged BA plane covering that distance. So many extra inches given to the thirty folks in first and business that commoners get sardine seats across the pond to America. That being said, the seats themselves are plenty comfortable withthe exception of arm rests that do not fully position upright. BA used to make you feel incredibly fortunate to fly with them. Now, I appreciate the crew who worked very hard to make-up for such an ugly delay on the ground and in baggage and flightbmanagement. The rest left me with a migraine.

Pros: This was actually a very pleasant trip. Left a few minutes late (minor mechanical issue) but arrived right on time. Crew was courteous and efficient. The food was the best I have had on any airline in years. Entertainment included a good selection of recent movies.
Cons: I'm 6'2" and slender - those seats are tight in both leg room and shoulder width, hence the "OK" rating for comfort. I was fortunate that my seat mates were also slender so none of us overlapped the armrests, and that the person ahead of me never reclined their seat because I have no idea of where my legs would have fitted had they done so. The only other gripe is that the volume of the entertainment system seems disconnected from the announcement system. The announcement system is WAY louder than the entertainment system - painfully so. I noticed many others around me also ripping off their headphones when a crew announcement commenced.
Pros: The crew and the plan and the service were all top notch. However, their new policy as of 1/1/2018 in which they even charge for coffee and water seems very misplaced and excessive.

Pros: Ice cream. Nowday, on flight food is hard to find the tasty one.
Cons: This was in coach class, so I understand the cramped quarters, but even on a long haul flight (BA 49, LHR-SEA), how could they justify the seating in the planes? Perhaps BA executives should fly coach class on one of these planes to understand what they are putting their customers up to. Here are 2 additional items that should be a no-brainer to fix: a) They ran out of fresh bottled water. For the last one hour, all they could offer was sparkling water b) Somehow BA seem to be saving on food portions (or their caterer needs to be changed) - lunch/dinner portions are way too small.
Pros: The cabin crew was nice. The main dish was good. The entertainment choices were decent and the system worked fine. I don't sleep in planes so it's important to me. I got a forward facing seat so at least I didn't have to deal with the alternative.
Cons: Not being able to make seat assignment earlier (i.e. 24h) was lame for a business flight. The second meal was mediocre, as was coffee. The screen of my entertainment system was scratched and cracked, but it didn't disturb me too much.
Cons: British Airways continued giving us hassle about guitar carry-on even though there has never been a problem with finding room for it by plane crew once plane is boarded.

Cons: I don't like that the armrests between seats don't go up all the way. That makes it impossible to stretch out if there's an empty seat next to you. Also, there's too big of a space between the window seat and the window, so you can't lean your head against the side of the plane to take a nap.

Cons: The system would not allow me to check-in / get my boarding passes 24 hrs prior to barding, which basically left me with a middle seat all the way to Seattle. I considered this a terrible process and didn't get a good explanation why I was blocked from doing my check-in online.
Cons: My entertainment voice did I not work. After four hours of the trip they gave me a another headset and thst worked. When I adjecfor decaf coffee, they didn't bring it and seemed annoyed after two asks I got sone, tasted like Nescafé. Food was scare, very surprised there were no snacks after meal was served for a ten hour flight until the end when a small sandwich was served.

Also they were out of meal choices by the time she got to our row and the chicken dish that was left was inedible.

Cons: We purchased two tickets together but were assigned seats far apart. We couldn't check in using on-line app. It wanted Visa information for USA travel even though we are US citizens, all info was entered into our flight, and we had already flown the outbound leg. The partner airline for the first leg checked us in, noted that our seats were separate and said they unable to change it. We called BA customer service - they were unable to change our seats. On arrival at Heathrow there was a huge wait at the BA processing center, when we finally presented our boarding passes and asked for a change the representative told us there was no time and we should run to our gate. I sat next to two people traveling solo so sitting together was obviously no problem Seating people on a combined booking separately, and never finding a solution other than "run to your gate, we are really behind" is verging on terrible customer service.

Cons: Like the flight from Amsterdam to Philadelphia, the seats were extremely uncomfortable and wouldn't go back much at all. On this flight my tray was also broken so I couldn't ever put any drinks on it without them spilling everywhere. The flight attendants were the worst ones I have ever had on a flight. Very unpleasant and rude. They would barely pay attention to customers and would only gossip when they were making their rounds down the isles. One of them made an attempt to bump either my arm or my leg every time she walked paste me, not once apologizing. It was very clear that she was doing it on purpose. At one point she even kept bending over to get into one of her drawers on her cart and kept shoving her butt into my shoulder and in my face repeatedly without acknowledging me at all. I was returning from a trip overseas and my appearance was less than business casual but that is no excuse to treat me like that or any other customer riding on this airline. I enjoyed my flights with British Airways on my way to Europe. It's extremely unfortunate that these two airlines are sister companies and transfer people between them. From now on I will actively avoid taking any flights on a American Airlines unless I have absolutely no other option. Sadly, this may mean avoiding British Airways as well. It's sad when Allegiant Air offers better flights than such a reputable airline, such as this.
Cons: Arrived on plane, pilot announced flight was completely booked, crew was short staffed and thanked us for our understanding. What?! How can a plane take off without all the crew? This was flight 49, a 777! Just prior to take off the flight attendant said I had to put away my iPad. (That's a first) Once airborne I attempted to recline my seat (32C), the button was completely pushed in to the armrest, broken. I told one flight attendant, she said she'd look into it. 20 minutes later I stopped another flight attendant, she said the cabin was completely booked & offered a seat in the very last row (which also doesn't recline!). Upright for 10 hours is not acceptable. Only 1 option for meal, other had ran out. Just prior to landing a different flight attendant said I had to put away my pillow (which was in my lap during take off & nothing was said then!) but said nothing at all about my iPad. Please ensure your flight attendants are consistent! I will not fly British Airways again.

Cons: Heathrow Airport is a horrible mess. It seems our soft shell carry-on luggage that fit fine above us on our previous British airways flight was now too large and had to be check. This bothered me greatly as multiple individuals with hard shell carry-on luggage rolled by without so much as a word. It appeared that whomever decided the seating arrangements was drunk. All of our previous flights my wife and I were seated next to each other. This flight we were seated in two different rows. After several trades (I think four) we were able to sit next to each other. I had attempted 24 hours prior to the flight to select our seats but was unable to do this without paying $50.
Cons: We werent able to change our seats online and nor at the airport counter. So my husband and I had to sit separately on this long flight
Pros: We had a very helpful terminal emplyee help us get from our arrival gate to our departure gate. I know he doesn't work for you but he was great. The arrival gate personnel (including pilots) were very sympathetic to our frustration (not having our wheelchair) and worked hard to get us to the departure gate. Good work!!

Pros: BA has the best airline food. Our flight was 9 hours, and they served a full meal with wine early on, and a snack box toward the end. The flight crew is outstanding. The in-flight movies were good, with a decent choice of recent movies.
Cons: These were the smallest airplane seats I've ever encountered. On the leg from Seattle to London, I was in a window seat and my 6'2" husband was wedged in a middle seat. We were both cramping up halfway through the flight. When the person in front of me reclined his seat, my meal ended up in my lap. On the London-to-Seattle return trip, for some reason, the airline changed our seats so we weren't sitting together, and changed us both to middle seats. The agent at the gate said the plane was full, but managed to get us both aisle seats. I would highly recommend an aisle seat since it's easier to get in and out to stretch the legs.

Cons: Airbus planes are designed for efficiency--not human passengers. As a thin person, I'm okay, but the individual space is ridiculous. Eye strain from having a screen 6 inches from your face, or less. Seats should not be able to recline in such a design. Can't get to carry on bag. Trash pickup was mediocre. Horrid space. "Entertainment" choices paltry.
Pros: Boarding was efficient and the plane was comfortable. Food service was very good: entree + large snack for 9hr flight. Blanket, headsets, pillow and toothbrush/paste was supplied.
Cons: Different than my previous flights on BA, the flight attendants in Economy were a bit dower and spoke with a rather clipped attitude. I had asked for tea when they came through with beverage choices in the beginning and they said I had to wait until after dinner. They did not return. I thought that was a bit odd since it is a British Airways flight and I had never had issued obtaining tea before. I saw them be pretty abrupt with other guests as well.
