Pros: "We had a very short connection as a result of a long delay in our flight from Athens to Munich. Lufthansa held the gate open and helped us get on board tom our flight to Chicago. The plane was big, roomy and the seats were comfortable. There were adequate number of toilets so people didn't have to stand in long lines. The crew was very friendly in an efficient way, not like in Asian airlines where the passenger gets coddled. I particularly appreciated the serving of water/juices every so often to stay hydrated."

Pros: "I used to fly lufthansa for my europe travel for work about 15 years ago a lot and thought in recent years it may not have been as good but these flights made me appreciate Lufthansa anew. Crew extremely helpful and polite, always followed up to any requests. Instead of barking at us like United or American crew, they went out of their way to help my daughter get a makeshift icepack for some very painful bumps she got during our vacation. Crew also kept the bathrooms clean from time to time, which was a welcome relief for such a long flight. Desk staff/service desk also was helpful in directing us during the 5 hr layover to things at the airport itself that we could do. They also helped reprint the boarding pass and write down the baggage tags when security made me lose those by separating my wallet and boarding passes into mutliple bins."
Cons: "Phone service. When I tried to book my seats and meals, the lady kept getting things wrong, and ended up not getting me the seats I had specifically ended up asking for. So, when I arrived at the airport and printed my boarding cards, those were seats I did NOT want and all the service desks insisted that's what I asked for. No low carb meal option was surprising. Meal service sometimes felt like too close to each other else too far apart from snacks - didn't feel like we had enough time to digest and get some sleep, while at other times we were seeking out snacks.Overall good quality of food however."

Cons: "The crew was not very welcoming and was borderline rude when I asked any sort of question such as why I was not allowed to wear my headphones prior to take off. I was patient in not wearing them, but could not relaxing into the trip for the 40+ minutes we remained on the ground mostly not moving. I was tired when boarding and fumbled with my documents and was very curtly told to just hand them over. Another time I accidentally mistook headphones the stewardess was handing out for something else. I took a pair and then immediately gave them back with an apology that I didn't realise what they were, but thanked her anyway. This was met with a scowl and a bit of opposition. There was one stewardess that was very nice and accommodating out of the entire crew. On top of this the toilet seat on the plane was broken, so it fell on you when you were trying to go to the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was broken. I didn't dare mention these things to the flight crew though. The plane was late taking off from Montreal, and so was late landing in Brussels. No effort was made to provide connections assistance, or provide directions on where to go to rebook our missed connections. I and all others traveling to Zurich spent the entire morning trying to find anyone from Air Canada to help us rebook our flights. We literally were going from desk to desk between two terminals, and consulting each other as we went to limit the amount of leg work we all had to do. We all had to finally leave the terminal area and go to Swissport and stand in a long slow line. By that time any afternoon flight was already overbooked. So I and a group of other passengers were booked for an evening flight which forced me to book a hotel in Zurich because I couldn't get to where I needed to be that evening. After being rebook, I still tried to get on an earlier flight by going directly to the gate. It was confirmed that there was some extra space available, but they would not switch me to the earlier flight because I had a checked bag that I could not separate me from. Ultimately my bag was lost which made me have to stay awake and in the Zurich airport even longer after I finally arrived going from one lost baggage representative to another, and then waiting in another line to finally fill out paperwork because my bag had never been scanned in Brussels. The Zurich representatives were very polite, helpful, and efficient compared to anyone I encountered in Montreal, or Brussels. I was without my bag for 3.5 days of what was supposed to be a 10 day trip. My trip was reduced to 9 days because I spent an entire day in the Brussels airport and then had to spend the night in Zurich. I arrived in Zurich on Saturday night, and received my bag on Tuesday afternoon. All in all it was not a good experience until I got to Switzerland."
Cons: "The flight from Phoenix to Vancouver was good except for the poor wifi when we were connected to the air canada wifi. Since there is no mini TVs on the back of the seats, you have to connect to their wifi to access shows and movies from your own device which is fine if it works. Tried to watch a movie which had huge problems connecting and the loading signal was on for a large amount of time. Once it had connected to the movie, it had restarted to the beginning about 25 times during watching it. Very disappointing and made it very unenjoyable. Also, right after we boarded, the pilot went on the intercom to tell us the ground crew had a gas spill and had to take extra time to clean it up which led us to sit on the plane for an extra 45 minutes and that led us to miss our connecting flight."

The exit row seats that we "upgraded" to were incredibly narrow, and there's nowhere close to stow your things. Then someone was in our seats when we boarded, and they took all our overhead bin space, so we were left with nothing for our flight. I would Not recommend paying extra for the exit row seats."

We appreciated the meals, each of which had a choice of Western or Japanese style; the overnight hospitality packs, which included a pillow and blanket, eye mask, earplugs, toothbrush, and comfy socks; and the unusual international movie options. Each flight kept more or less to schedule."

Cons: "Chaotic boarding - after 1st class, travelers with young children, no organization or boarding by sections, causing the process to take much longer than necessary as people were blocking aisles loading overhead luggage while those seated further back in cabin had to wait."

Cons: "1,The food was bad. I was unable to eat. Simple food would have worked. I chose fish but hardly ate since it tasted bad. Additionally I am allergic to diary products and was not given a chance to express this when purchasing the ticket so I arrived in Rome extremely hungry. I ate at the airport on arrival in Rome, 2, There was no toiletries bag handed out i.e toothpaste and socks to keep us warm. 3. Was surprised that the food was on sale Brussels to Rome. Abidjan to Brussels was free food then mid flight rules changed and the food was on sale on the last leg of the flight."
Pros: "The service personnel was very nice and accommodating."
Cons: "There was a screaming child the ENTIRE flight, and it seemed obvious to me that it was behavior and not a health/ear issue. I felt like flight personnel should have addressed it with the parent/guardian. Also my screen did not work and flight personnel were not able to fix it. It was a long 9 hour flight with no entertainment from Brussels to Chicago. UA 973 on 12-03-15."
Pros: "Departed ahead of schedule and got airborne within minutes, unheard of at JFK around 6.30PM! Quick flight smooth landing, friendly service reasonably comfortable seat for coach class! Bagage service was quick too! Was out of the terminal 1 hr ahead of schedule!"

Pros: "We liked that it was a direct flight from Brussels to JFK. Flight was on time."
Cons: "-My husband and I were forced to sit separately (despite having same reservation number). The crew and check in agents were extremely unhelpful in resolving the situation. -Food was terrible. Quite disappointing when you compare it to our recent flight with Turkish Airlines. -monitors said checkin was open. But when we went to the counter, checkin had not started + 40 people were waiting. We had to wait nearly one hour for the checkin to begin."
