They told me there were NO window seats left except $95 extra room. They said I would go through Security priority. That was not true--you ended up in exactly the same giant line as everyone else. AND after shelling $95: (1) there WERE window seats available--so JetBlue basically lied and stole from me (at Christmas time! $95 fewer gifts I could buy) and (2) the seat was attached by Velcro to the seat back and kept coming slightly separated which caused me to end up with a pinched lower back nerve."

The plane had lots of space I wasn’t cramped and the stewardess was friendly and polite and seemed genuine. Next thing you know in walking out of the plane, out of Long Beach airport. Feels like I waited longer for my ride to pick me up."

When my conference wrapped earlier than expected I went to the airport to see if I could get on an earlier flight as when looking on your app there were options at 2:29 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. and both still accepting bookings. When I got to the airport around 1 p.m., the woman at check in informed me that a flight time change would cost me $75. I was surprised as the one-way flight I had looked up before was only $48 so it would have been cheaper for me to just purchase a new flight! Also another woman at the conference said she was able to change flights easily. I don't understand why if there is room on a flight and I am going to the same destination, same airline, why the change fee is so outrageous. This is a simple way that Jetblue could have improved my customer experience. Instead I waited in the airport all day. :("

That agent said she couldn't give me a seat, but watch the monitor for my name for seat assignments, then come back. Why couldn't the first gate agent say that instead of giving me the runaround and wasting my time???"

So I bought a new one-way ticket. Then Copa told me that because I would miss the original connecting flight in Panama (which was impossible to reach because they cancelled the first flight) they would cancel my return flights. They forced me to pay $400 extra on top of the full return fare for just a one way flight, while leaving me to pay for another one way fare at the last minute."

Cons: "They broke off one of the 4 wheels of my checked-in bag rendering it useless. I approached the luggage complaint section of Copa Airlines and they said they only fix or replace bags when they make an actual hole in the fabric, which would basically require using a sharp knife or a chainsaw. Broken wheels (mine was completely gone), handles etc don't count, in other words, they can throw around your bags like they mean nothing to them because their policy protects them, not you. I'm pretty sure Copa isn't the only airline doing this but it needs to be said regardless, it's really not fair the way they treat / abuse customers' belongings without making themselves responsible for hardly any of it."

I was extremely confused and when the announcement was finally made, it was in Spanish only. Then the flight was cancelled (which is understandable and totally happens) but no one assisted me with rebooking or informed me what was going on. I was traveling alone and it was a very frustrating experience. Overall I was at the airport from 11pm to 4am the NEXT day. We were offered accommodation but not until 11am (our flight was supposed to be at 5am) and then we were shuttled back to the airport at 12 midnight for a 4:40am flight. Then my layover in Panama City was extended by 4 hours. Overall, my travel time was nearly 56 hours."

This flight had too many things go wrong for me to ignore. 1) The check in line up took exceptionally long even though there were many staff at the booth. 2) As people were boarding, one of the staff was handing out headphones as people were still attempting to navigate to their seat. The timing seemed very inappropriate and even in the way for new passengers. 3) My boyfriends carry on bag is larger than a small backpack, but smaller than a standard carry on bag. As he was boarding, he went to put his bag in the overhead compartment. My boyfriend is well over 6 feet and the Copa staff was insisting we put the bag at my boyfriends feet as his bag was not as large as others. We pay the same as the other passengers and deserve comfort too! Especially for my tall boyfriend who even in the largest of seats has a difficult time on planes. 4) The plane did not have individual entertainment units, which does not help on a 6+ hour flight. 5) I was VERY cold and asked for blanket on various occasions, and even offered to pay for one, but there was not on board, even though, as I exited I saw unopened ones in first class."

Pros: "I was bumped from an overbooked Copa flight and was offered another that would get me home at 1am (rather than 3pm) or an overnight stay and a flight the next morning. Instead of trying to find a way home from the airport (a 1+ hour ride) in the middle of the night, I opted to stay in Panama overnight. Copa put me up in a very nice Sheraton in downtown Panama City with a pool, several restaurants, a casino... They gave me $20 per meal I'd be staying for (lunch, dinner, and the following breakfast), arranged a shuttle to and from the airport, and, the best part, a $1000 voucher for future flights with Copa within the next year - enough for two more round trip flights."
Cons: "Communication was minimal or false. When I checked my bag, the agent told me that I was being placed on standby because of a weight limit on the plane. She assured me that the flight wasn't full and that I would absolutely get a seat. When I got to the gate, there was minimal information available, but about 12-15 people were on standby, including two families of 4 and 5 people. The agents were ill-informed and didn't immediately explain why so many of us were on standby and whether anyone would make it on the plane, or what the other options were for those who wouldn't make it on the plane. Eventually four or five people boarded, another few got moved to a later flight, and 6 including me were put up in a hotel. Betzy, a gate agent for Copa at Tocumen, was absolutely wonderful and so helpful and informative with all of this."

Cons: "I flew Toronto-Calgary-Palm Springs and then Las Vegas back to Toronto. Only the Calgary-Palm Springs flight (the shortest leg) had seat back entertainment including satellite TV (although it cut out half way there). West Jet should have such entertainment available on all of their longer flights (consistent with the likes of Jet Blue that has had it for years). I would also point the disaster at the West Jet recommended Airport Lounge i Toronto. I almost missed the flight because there was A. No flight information available in the lounge like everywhere else B. The TV available in the lounge was on the information channel which included the time but froze up at some point (I checked the time and though I had about an hour before the flight and had hour til boarding. When I looked up again about twently minutes later the time was exactly the same. C. The Lounge was 20 minutes from the gate and this distance was a total surprise. I provided my boarding pass and the receptioist said nothng about the distance (unlike other airport lounges that I have visited). Note that I stopped into the Chinook Lounge in Calgary to see if they had addressed all of the complaints. I asked how far away my gate was and what steps I had to go through to get there and they had no clue. It turns out that one must take a shuttle bus, go though security again and then go through US customs so bottom line is that one needs the adviised three hours and the Chinook Lounge is essentially useless for travellers connecting to a US destination in Calgary. I would suggest that perhaps your CEO or senior staff should go through the experience of using the above Lounges and believe me this would result in A. Demanding significant improvements or B. Recommending Alternative Lounges or C. Advising that these lounges not be used (and certainly not featuring them on your web site). One additional comment. I arranged to meet someone on your Toronto-Vegas flight at McCarron (last Tuesday nite). There are 26 different luggage carousels so I positioned myself in the middle and monitored the flight arrival information. Officials at McCarron Airport failed to indicate that your plane had arrived. As a result, I was delayed in making my way to meet the individual at Carousel 26 and we missed making contact. Most Toronto passengers were already leaving with their luggage so I approached one of your staff who to put it lightly was useless (not sure why she was there). She would not tell me if my party was on the flight or even when it landed or provide any solution. The McCarron Flight Info Board still did not indicate arrival of your flight even after basically all the luggage was gone. I finally got someone who worked at McCarron to contact the PA Announcer and ask my party to meet me at Carousel 26. The PA Announcement came over a few minutes later ... but said to meet at Carousel 16. Gross incompetence all the way around. Dennis Egan 519-513-1025"

Cons: "The flight itself was fine, but connecting through Mexico City airport is troublesome and time consuming. Mexican authorities make everyone go through a long line at customs. Since we checked in through Delta in San Antonio, we did not have a boarding pass for the Lima portion. , We had to exit into the main concourse to get our boarding pass. At that point we were on standby for seats and barely made our connection."

And I wanted to sit next to a friend from Mexico City to Lima so that seat change was really mean. Once one the plane the man in my original seat got an upgrade so I got to sit next to my friend about half way through the flight when she came to tell me about the empty seat when she came to the back of the plane to use the bathroom."

Checked my baggage when it didn't need to be checked / met appropriate baggage standards. Being loaded onto trams was a bit of an inconvenience - but not the worst thing ever. No vegetarian option for food - wasn't able to eat. It was indicated we'd be served dinner on board but not that there was only one meat option (I'm allergic to mammmal meat - beef and pork in particular). Most other flights give the option of meat or vegetarian dishes."
Pros: "Plane was new so that was nice! Clean and elegant, i do like AM domestic business/first class product (but only on the new aircraft, with a footrest), especially in comparison to the US domestict first class. What i like is the footrest and a good inflight entertainment system"

Cons: "I believe Aero Mexico had four flights going from LAX to Mex City in the matter of two hours when we arrived so the line to check in was huge. Not a big deal until the staff began pulling people from the back of the line to check in for flights that left at the same time as ours, which put us on a time crunch to get to our gate on time. Once we arrived at the gate, there was no indication that our flight had been delayed and no announcement regarding its status. We simply had to wait and wait, then we finally took off an hour late. The staff on board the plane was less than helpful in getting our customs paperwork to us as well. Not a great experience."
