What made it worse was the check in clerk wanted to argue her point and there was only one flight attendant available and boarding closed 12min prior to departure, I was standing and waiving through the gates window trying to get all the flight attendants attention. I could have made it but missed my flight. Horrible experience!"

TSA was actually friendly in Las Vegas (I realize this is not Alaska's control). Skills of the pilots was exceptional (very windy leaving LV and the flight was great). We left very late due to a problem with the flaps warning light (??). Would rather have left late after thoroughly checking it out than take a chance - good for you, Alaska! Pilot took advantage of a tailwind and we got to SeaTac in 1 hr 50 min (I think this is pretty spectacular). Enough room in overhead bins. Great job. Pilots and stews all smiled at me and said thanks and said goodbye when I left the plane (this is more important than you would think - first and last impressions are lasting). Boeing 737s rock. The little extensions on the wings rock too."
Cons: "Typical airline stuff. Small seats. Bad elbow room in middle seat. I'm an "Emperor's new clothes" kind of guy. I won't ignore these things and pretend it's all okay, just because we all do. You probably can't do anything, cost-wise, about this. Fair enough. But my main complaint is that I had a ticket for a much later flight (leaving 6:30). I knew I was done with my business the previous day and tried to change my flight online and by phone the previous day. Changing flights by either of these channels would have cost me a minimum of an extra $238. Not worth it to me since the round trip was only $180, so I stayed. But going to the airport early and getting past TSA and going to the actual gate allowed an Alaska rep to change my flight there at the airport for $25 (This was actually a tip from my wife). In the year 2017, with the internet and cell phones, this situation is ridiculous! Why should I have not been able to do this from my hotel the day before and leave even earlier? As a company, you recognize the good will that having your crew and stews smile at people and say goodbye builds with your customers. Why would you allow this situation to continue? When traveling by air, convenience is everything. Get the information systems in place that allow you to accommodate this kind of change from either the website or the phone. If you need help with it, call me. I teach IT at the UW in Tacoma and I can put some of my seniors on the problem (whatever it is) and come up with a solution. A view of lightning strikes in the distance after takeoff followed by a flight into the sunset landing shortly after the sun disappeared over the horizon, all aboard Alaska's specially-decorated Spirit of Disneyland II. It was a smooth flight with friendly employees at the gate and onboard. Window seat in coach was comfortable enough. I didn't buy any food onboard, choosing to stick with the traditional complementary pretzels and a glass of water, which I got refilled once. There was no entertainment provided, but the flight wasn't long enough to need it."

Why couldn't the first gate agent say that instead of giving me the runaround and wasting my time???"

I understand that was beyond Delta's control, except for the fact that its Atlanta hub is grossly overused. But my connecting flight in Atlanta was canceled, and its "dedicated" phone line to re-book the flight was completely unresponsive. The employees in Atlanta were, as they usually are, surly, and myself and fellow passengers had to wait on line for hours in the wee hours of the morning to be re-booked. Oh, and Delta lost my suitcase in Las Vegas, with all my clothes and a business file, and it has not been located."

She told me due to weather conditions causing the delay there is nothing they can do. I can pay for hotel and dispute it later. On top of that hey have lost my luggage. It was a nightmare. I will never fly American Airlines again!"

Had to walk to a different terminal of LAX wait in 2 more lines and by the time they were able to assist it was too late to check in. Missed the flight, have to rebook a 3 hour later departure, move the meeting and take a flight back 4 hours later that has a layover and adds about 2.5 hours more on the return leg. Not to mention having to pay for the new seat."

( I specifically flew into lax for the game that I spent $100 on tickets for) well I arrived to LAS at 5am by 515am I received my first notification that my flight wouldn't be leaving until 1030am.... I was a little annoyed but hey I'm still going to make it to my game, ( I just needed to let my ride know who's lives 3 hours away from LA that my flight was going to be 3 hours late not to rush) well about an hour later I got another notification that my flight was now being pushed back to 230pm.... at this point I have no choice but to look for another flight.... I found another flight on Southwest leaving Las at 1210pm arriving in lax at 120pm... perfect I can still make my game... That flight was boarding on time... ran into some hiccups on the runway... arrive to lax at 130pm... not a problem can still make my game... sat on the runway at lax until 335.... needless to say I missed the game... while in the air I received another text that my American airline flights was now pushed back to 530pm... mind you my day started at 5am on Las Vegas to catch a flight out at 720am.... Now had I not found that other flight I would have been sitting around Vegas airport for over 12 hours.... I was not a happy flier today, specially because the actual flight is normally no more than 45 minutes start to finish... I could have rented a car and drove... would have been cheaper and I would have made it to my game ...."

When i finally got on the plane, the seats were very uncomfortable and I felt like a sardine being crammed into a small tin. the crew was at best, mediocre and boring. The in flight snack was two crappy pieces of cookie? Or was that a cracker? I did not eat it. The entertainment was one shared screen that I did not have a headset for, nor was I offered a headset, free or for a fee. The screen in front of me was too close and the screen behind that was further away and barely able to see it. I choose not to watch it for these reasons. The landing was rough at the end, everyone jolted forward when we hit the ground."

I old the flight attendant that I needed help stowing my backpack in the overhead bin, not because it was that heavy or big, but because the previous flight had been 5 hrs long and after being stuck in the middle seat my back was killing me and lifting my bag over my head would have triggered a muscle spasm. I have a back condition and they refused to help me. She would not even hear me out and insisted on me to check my bag, which I refused to because my laptop and tablet were in there without propper padding to protect them. The same flight attendant had already yelled at a passanger and was making a scene that made several other passengers uncomfortable. i understand the flight was full and they were delayed enough, but the airline clients should not have to pay for the airline's mistakes."

Cons: "Because I arrived 40min before my flight was scheduled to leave the kiosk wouldn't print my boarding pass. I was forced to stand in a line that took 18min for a customer service representative. I was then told I couldn't board my flight. I was then put on standby for a flight that would leave two hours later. I went through security it only took 10min because it was 8am on a Saturday morning in LAS VEGAS. I was through security and my original flight still hadn't left. If the kiosk had just printed my ticket I would have made my flight with plenty of time."

Pros: "The flight to Chicago from Reno was wonderful! The plane was clean, there were TV's on the backs of the seats, the staff was friendly and the seats were comfortable. Reno Airport was easy to travel through and the personnel were friendly."
Cons: "The return flight from Chicago to Reno was the exact opposite of the pleasant experience I had from RNO to ORD. Chicago personnel were terrible and rude (I grew up in Chicago and brag about how Midwesterners are nice). Security forced me to check my bag because I am 7 months pregnant- it was the same size as all the other people in line. Ultimately I am glad, because It The gate was changed 3 times in under an hour in 3 different terminals and it would have been a lot for a pregnant lady to drag around. When on the plane we were delayed for 45 minutes at the gate. Once in the air the plane had broken TV for entertainment, poorly functioning WiFi and very uncomfortable seats. The last hour was miserable and I just wanted to get home."

She showed up, then they made a announcement that the Oakland flight will be delayed till 8:10 takeoff. I was able to get on a flight to Stockton Airport without problem. They wouldnt tell me what was wrong, and i didnt want to chance that it was the last dlight to Oakland and went with Stockton. The flight was good, you have to pay for your water."

De-planing was a bit chaotic, I don't think many of these people fly regularly, and were having some serious heebie-jeebies at their bags being in an overhead compartment not immediately above their head. So before anyone was mobile or doors were open, there were large pieces of luggage being passed around through really crowded spaces. Chill, people. The baggage carousel at the new terminal was poorly designed, shutting down when people went to pick up their bags. It took awhile to get our bags, and we were scolded by the staff for tripping some sensor. I don't know what universe y'all live in, but in this one, you have to move close to the carousel to lift your bag. So the sensor tripped like three times and people were unhappy."

I didn't think much of it until I got to my new seat and realized I had paid to sit in a seat that was basically a bench that didn't recline and was right in front of the bathroom so it rattled every time someone flushed. There was no entertianment on this short flight and I didn't buying any food or drinks so I have no rating for this section. To my surprized I was able to purchase Show tickets at a great discount on board only, very cool! Flight was on time both ways! Seat Confront was tight but the website made it clear the seating would be on selected seats and since I didnt pay for the upgraded seating you get what you pay for."

Didnt like having all the extra fees. All in all there was still a big saving as to going directly to SW Airlines"

This took more than two hours. Had I not was preemptive I would have been stuck in Frankfort for an extra day."

I waited over an hour and a half to get my bag, which I don't understand because the flight was cancelled and therefore communication should have been clear to bring those bag to baggage claim. The representatives that helped me were friendly, but I felt it was a business as usual situation with no concern about my inconvenience. Also I was not given any information about a refund and when I asked, I was referred to a website to figure it out on my own. Unforeseen incident, but zero attempt at service recovery."

The seats are leather, which in some ways may be nice, but without a pillow, having your head resting on the leather headrest for hours is not comfortable. The cabin interior is mostly a cold blue color with accents of grey, with harsh cold lighting. Not inviting or relaxing at all. Other recent longer United flights that I've been on have been nicer, but the seats were no more comfortable."
