Delayed, again. Does this airline ever run on time?
Pros: "Flight was 3 hours late. That matters more than anything else"
Cons: "Delta/LGA could observe that we will always have rain/fog and plan accordingly"
The staff was extremely nice and professional.They did excellent job!
Pros: "Definitely pick comfort plus on this flight if you can. You can walk around a lot more on this flight compared to other flights. Food was really good! Recommend the overnight flights...."

Pros: "The crew worked hard despite a delay caused by holding up all flights due to a lightning strike in the area that caused ground staff to halt work. We were within five minutes of departure and then had a 45 minute delay"
Cons: "It took 90 minutes to get our check luggage in Las Vegas. Our flight number was taken off of the board with about 2/3 of the luggage delivered. This caused a huge queue at the baggage claim office. Folks did not seem to have a clue what was going on."

Cons: "I paid to be in row 1 first class, when I checked in I was in the first row, then as I boarded I was told my seat changed to the back row in first class for no reason at all. I choose the 1st row for a ready and I expect to sit there! 2 flights in a row that Delta moved my seat for no reason"

Pros: "Thankfully I had an Aisle Seat so I could move around a bit. Every seat was taken and it was like a sardine can."
Cons: "Very little leg room and of course as soon as we were in the Air the person in front of me reclined his seat all the way back so the Monitor was only a few inches from my face. This was my single major complaint. The food was not great but typical of an American Carrier. The foreign airlines do better on food. The last time I went to Europe I took WOW, the cheapest budget Airline and the leg room was MUCH better. You would think Delta could do better."

Cons: "We had issues with baggage. Delta was supposed to transfer 4 bags to Disney for Magic Express transportation. Only 3 went. Disney tried hard to fix problem, and even gave us something to ameliorate the situation. Delta took hard line, wasn't helpful and gave nothing. It took 2 days to find bag."

Pros: "The staff onboard was friendly and attentive. They made every effort to make sure I had whatever I wanted. Boarding was quick and easy. The onbaord entertainment system had a large selection and I was never without something worth watching."
Cons: "The first class accommodation isn't as good as advertised. The seat is supposed to completely recline allowing you to sleep. Unfortunately if you're 6 foot or taller there isn't enough room. Other airlines like Emirates gives you more room in their business class so it's disappointing to see United 1st class is so cramped. The screens for the onboard entertainment system in first class are lower quality then those used in coach."
Pros: "The leg room was great, the blanket and pillow provided was great and the crew did not disturb me."
Pros: "No problems curling up against the bulkhead and going to sleep. Crew was very considerate about not broadcasting messages to awaken travelers during this overnight flight."

The crew was great, given the situation—we were delayed because the cargo door wouldn’t lock. Why wasn’t the plane checked before we boarded the 777-200? That’s a lot of people to be left sitting there, especially during Covid .
The gate agent (when I got off my flight from Lexington to Charlotte) had dismissed the person who was supposed to wheelchair me to the next gate I waited 10 minutes for her to call for another wheelchair assistant After 25 minutes of saving I ask her to call again as no one had shown up She was too busy talking to a friend and then left and went up to check on the next flight while I sat there I personally flag down three people asking for assistance Finally one of them told me that a person with a clipboard type device would be the one to help me I explained I had had nothing to eat in Lexington my way there because the restaurant closed due to some kind of flooding or other plumbing problem before my order could be brought to me I saw a person with a clip for type of device is actually help me get to the restaurant where I waited in line to get a table This person stayed with me as long as she could before she was called to assist another customer I was able to get something to eat then had to walk to my fly and barely made it onto the flight I have never been treated so poorly as I was in this situation I have a new knee and was in a lot of pain and was hungry I would like someone from American to contact me and indicate what Itgey will do id to compensate me for my time, trouble, and inconvenience as well as pain in his poor treatment of a customer
We were delayed in Charlotte for almost 2 hours because American Airlines didn't have flight attendants for our flight.

Cons: "The flight attendants were friendly, watched a movie, thanks for the ear buds to listen to the movie. There was a lot of turbulence but I feel our pilot managed it very well bringing us in safely and smoothly as possible. I can't think of anything that could have been improved on."
Pros: "The AA staff was incredibly nice to us. The facilities our check in at DCA that got us on faster and the staff at CLT very nicely got us on to an earlier flight. They were awesome!"
Cons: "The entertainment options are great but the interface is annoying and difficult to use. -connecting to the WiFi was wonky -working between the apps and browser page was annoying -rewind/fast forward controls overly sensitive"
Cons: "We landed early but the plane was late 50 minutes into gate. Plane went pst our gate twice, just driving around the terminal."

Cons: "The crew was ok but missed picking up trash from several travelers near me so they had to keep their trash in hand or with the tray still down for landing! The seats were terribly uncomfortable. There were no amenities (power/wi-fi/entertainment), they ran out of food options."

Cons: "Initially delayed by 3hours (mechanical) which was American Eagle couldn’t get their “bucket of bolts” to Springfield, MO on time so we missed our flight out of Charlotte to Barcelona. Then we were rerouted through Chicago, but lost our first class seats and were bumped back to coach. This was after I had bought first class tickets for the entire trip only to be told 3 months before leaving that AA decided to switch planes on our domestic flight so there’s were no first class seats. THEN, in Chicago we tried to get first class seats on British Airways which would have been fine but After being sent to another terminal (after the bus to that terminal had stopped running) we were turned back because British Airways wouldn’t accept the boarding pass that AA had issued us. Now, having to go back to the first terminal to DISCUSS all this, we miss that flight and wind up stuck in Chicago for another 24 hours. Then, that flight was delayed by 3 hours, so we lost a day and a half of our vacation."
Pros: "I loved the attitude and helpful approach of the female flight attendant working the AA gate for the flight I took from DFW to COS last night (6/13). Truthfully, it was almost like I was back with Southwest. She was kind, calm, polite, efficient, and capable. Very rare in my experience with American Airlines yesterday. Interacting with her was refreshing."
Cons: "Getting home to Colorado Springs at 11:30 PM, taxiing for 15-20 minutes, and then waiting another 20-30 for checked luggage! Never have I waited that long during and after a Southwest flight! AA could truly learn something from their more modest counterpart. I have all but decided to resume my drives to Denver every other week rather than risk more and more time and poor experiences with AA flying in-and-out of Colorado Springs."

Cons: "Airlines have an industry wide problem. They INTENTIONALLY make every part of flying miserable so that passengers will pay anything to make it less painful. For example... if you want to make boarding quicker, build the cost of checked luggage into ticket prices so that you don't have people carrying everything on and clogging up the process. Or use the existing and publicly available research to improve boarding mechanisms... but that would mean you lose an opportunity to squeeze extra cash out of people for 'priority boarding'. This phenomenon is real, and currently be investigated by congress. Call your senator."

Long walk to new terminal for connecting flight even though flight was listed as the same flight number for both legs."

Cons: "My outbound flight to Manila had an overnight layover in Japan. I asked at the luggage check-in at O'Hare International Airport if they can check it all the way through as I had planned to go outside of the Narita airport for the layover. They told me I couldn't check the luggage all the way through and that I had to pick it up from baggage claim once I land in Narita. From there I had to check-in the luggage again on the same day. When I took my luggage out from baggage claim, I tried to check-in and the counter crew told me I was given wrong information. I had to keep my luggage with me until my flight the following day. On my return flight from Manila and another overnight layover in Narita, the check-in crew at NAIA told me I could check-in my luggage all the way through, and that they also allowed this at my outbound flight to Manila. The check-in crew at O'Hare International Airport gave me wrong information."
