Cons: "There was no beverage or food service till ~2 hrs into the flight. No air issues etc. that would cause a delay. There was only 1 service in a 5.5 hr flight. The previous crew served us beverages at least 2-3 times and carried water up and down. Coming from +90 degree weather everyone is thirsty. I bought food soon as I got on, I have a toddler.. it was delivered over 2 hrs later, luckily I came prepared with lots of snacks. Also there are no hot vegetarian meal purchase options on the flight to Mexcio/Costa Rica (which was the first leg of our trip) we had to make do with cheese/fruit platters."

Cons: "We lost our whole vacation and had to pay for the plans fare twice because My last name was spelled wrong on our tickets and we were unable to use them because my passport didn’t match the name on the ticket. We had to rebook everything pay almost twice as much for the plane fare, our Lodi g cost more and our trip was delayed for two weeks. Vyama is blaming us for spelling our name wrong and claimes that it’s our fault this happened because everything is automated. There saying they don’t touch anything that we enter into the booking but somehow everything they claim we entered is now in all capital letters and the space between our first name and middle name is now gone and all run together. The coustomer service number gets you to someone in India. I have tried to get this addressed four times now at first they tried to place the responsibility on the airlines now us and they have hung up on me twice. Kayak has been worthless, they also just pass the responsibility on to someone else. We will never use them again ant I intend to make sure that this mess is put out in social media to hopefully keep others from having their travel plans ruined by their flawed system."

"Self entitled pax loudly continuing his telephone conversation after pushback was tolerated and only after the safety demonstration did crew address it."

Cons: "Two loud drunks talked loudly about inappropriate topics the entire flight while not wearing masks. Several people were not wearing masks and the crew never even tried to quiet them down or to tell anyone about the mask. I wondered if the crew agreed with what they were saying that’s why they allowed it. I say that because the one time a steward came to speak to them, it was in the most endearing way. The drunks were commenting that they were told there’d be alcohol and the steward said something like “It’ll be back soon. It’s just that things have been difficult. Have you been watching the news?” in the sweetest way. It felt like a wink."

Cons: "First of all, this flight was not good; that was my rating for the first leg of CLE to DFW. DFW to SJC was a disaster due to weather and multiple equipment changes. Overall the flight was delayed 7 hours, from 4:50pm to 11:40pm. I opted to reschedule for the following morning -- and that flight ended up being delayed for an hour due to equipment changes and mechanical issues. Door-to-door I spent 30 hours getting from CLE to SJC."

The flight was delayed causing me to miss another AA connection by minutes. Waited in line to be told I wouldn't get on a flight til the following day, they couldn't help with accommodation and I wouldn't receive my luggage until the following day. In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory."

Cons: "I've had flights canceled before, but clearly American Airlines/ JFK is not equipped to manage. American Airlines online hung up on me after 24 minutes of being on hold. I waited in line for 2 hours to get on another flight home and the attendant first suggested to fly me to Charlotte then Cleveland where I would arrive a day late after I'd been traveling with my elderly parents for 24 hours. Additionally, once we changed flights and had to go to Newark, it took an hour to print (yes, print) our new itineraries for United and then when the cab should have arrived immediately, we waited 45 minutes. I was displeased."

I had my own blanket fortunately because it was cold...then hot... If one did not have an iPad or computer watching anything was impossible on a 6 hour flight. Never going to take this flight again aGAIN...NEVER PAID ADDITIONAL ON SUCH A LONG FLIGHT FOR SEATS. NEXT TIME I'LL STAND."

Cons: "Since we have an AAdvantage CitiCard and are AAdvantage members, it is disconcerting to have to claim your privilege of 1 free bag and priority boarding each time. This is embarrassing at the gate especially since it looks like we are cutting the line. What good is this "privilege" if you have to assert it every time or hold a credit card in hand with your carryon and boarding pass. This should be included in our ticketing at the time of purchase and upgraded on our boarding pass if we use the damn card for the purchase. It is now not a "privilege" but an inconvenience."

After an hour of sitting on the plane they got everyone off so a different plane could board and take off and then everyone got back on the plane and continued to wait. We left 2.5 hours late and when we arrived at the destination the plane couldn't contact the tower?!?! So we waited another 30 mins...ridiculous, rude, and rather fly southwest"

They announced the movies being shown on the flight at the beginning and then proceeded to show three completely different things, some just being random tv shows. The whole middle section of the plan had static in their headphones so they were unable to watch the movies. The crew was friendly but seemed very confused as if it was their first time working together. Announcements were choppy And confusing. They also asked me to pay 190 dollars extra to sit with my husband. Not the best experience"

Most idiotic and incompetent group I've ever flown with."

Cons: "Regional jets are so tiny those with small carry-ons are still forced to check their baggage at the gate. How about a larger jet, folks?"

Pros: "Nothing about United is good."
Cons: "They were late and then they were later with no explanation. The crew was rude and doesn’t understand customer service. This is what you get when you use regional airlines. I flew 240,000 miles commercially last year and did not use United on any trip."

Pros: "Left on time and arrived early. Crew was great."
Cons: "My luggage didn't arrive with the flight and UA doesn't seem to know where it is."

Pros: "Enjoyed the extra space from Economy Plus - really made a difference from the complete sardine cans in regular economy. Crew was friendly."
Cons: "Unfortunately the crew blocked the path to the toilets in the back of the plane for over an hour... I've never seen a crew move so slow. Also, the DirecTV screens in front of each seat were annoying, as they put the controls on the armrest so they were constantly being turned on accidentally."

Pros: "Loved the direct flight from Newark to Costa Ruca which arrives in less than 5 hours, crew was very helpful to other passengers with connecting flight info."

Cons: "Needle point lady sitting next to me used more room than I'd would've liked. The upgrade wasn't much of an upgrade, guess I'll have to see what aircraft I'm on before I pay the extra for little comfort."

Cons: "For some reason reserved seats don't mean much on a United full flight. My wife and I spent the 3+ hour flight 12 rows apart. When we tried to speak to the gate agent, explaining that this was our honeymoon, she didn't even let me finish my sentence before interrupting and saying there was nothing she could do. At least look a customer in the eye, listen to their concerns and apologize."

Pros: "The flight was good and we arrived on time, despite the fact we left Denver late. Didn't buy any food."
Cons: "The Entertainment choices on this flight were lousy...I also didn't like the fact that I had to buy Economy Plus because my wife and I were not only not assigned seats together after booking, we were not assigned seats at all. When I booked the flights I was only allowed to choose seats for the first flight - Charlotte to Houston...but not for the other three legs of our Charlotte to Seattle trip. The only two seats together from Houston to Seattle were in the very last row. And, on our return flight we had to purchase Economy Plus in order to sit together."

Pros: "It was the worse. She is 80 years old. Had wheelchair assistant and the person who take care of her did no have idea where she was flying,"
Cons: "Thanks god after 5 hours one of the crew helped her to sit on the right area to take the flight to Charllote and contacted me ."

Pros: "Flight not full so had 3 seats to myself. Very cold in plane and again, no music or tv."

Pros: "At the gate while we were waiting for 3 hours the United Crew brought out snacks for us to have for free because of the wait."

Pros: "Everything was fine except I barely made the flight in Chicago.when arriving in Charlotte I had to wait about 10 or 15 minutes for a wheel chair to get off the plane."
Cons: "Having to wait on a wheelchair so long in Chicago I almost missed my flight and having to wait so long for a wheelchair when I arrived in Charlotte."

Cons: "Had the most uncomfortable seats on the plane seats didn't recline as well . Also was giving no food not even a snack for a international flight which was absolutely redicoulous. Had to pay for bags when I fly American Airlines or southwest they are free. So your prices really aren't that great after you have to pay for everything."

Cons: "I couldn't get the wifi to connect to united.com. I was disappointed after paying $40 for the upgrade to economy comfort that the seats were hard as a rock and the upgrade didn't provide you anything additional - free drinks and snacks - like it does on Delta. The extra inches of leg room is not worth $40."

Cons: "I didn't get my luggage. Had to go to baggage claim to report it missing and still don't have it. It was not transferred when they had to re-route my flight. I waited for almost an hour watching for it. I was told that it was still in Chicago."

Pros: "We loved the convenience of booking a United Flight through Kayak. Planes were clean and no delays!"

Cons: "This is touted as one of the newest in United's fleet. I've flown on this plane twice in the last month and the seats are the worst. They are hard plastic (feel flimsy), and have very little padding. The recline is almost nonexistent. Both times I've come off the plane with my backside feeling numb."

Cons: "Not only the Gate, but the terminal was changed with out advance notice. I got to Terminal C- listed on my boarding pass, only to check the screen to find they switched to Terminal A, which meant exiting the terminal C and taking a bus to Terminal A. Only as I was boarding the plane did I receive a late text telling me there was a Terminal change. The flight attendants passed me by with the drink cart and never came back to service me"

Pros: "Aircraft remained grounded for 1h due to a door switch with malfunction."

Cons: "Will never fly United again if I can help it. Friday afternoon out of CLT was cancelled and rescheduled for Sat afternoon, we had a Friday night wedding and had to get to Chicago. Agents were completely unhelpful over the phone, went to the airport agents at ticketing counter were also unhelpful and threw up their hands like there was nothing they could do to help us. Finally had to switch to Delta and got to Chicago at 1AM EST, missed the wedding."

Cons: "It was suggested that I didn't bring my carry on with me so I left it to be voluntarily checked and it came back ripped"

Cons: "There's no spave at all between your seat and the one in Front of you. I couldn't leave my seat to go to the restrooms without shamefully jumping into the two gentlemen's sitting next to me"

Cons: "Never told and delayed 5 hours. I had to call United and they switched me to American ..."

Cons: "I don't appreciate a the fact that you made me late for church. Wouldn't have been such a big deal if i wasn't the church's organist."

Pros: "First off - thank you for putting food back onto what you offer when people fly united. It's a drink and a small snack. It's not much to ask, so I appreciate them putting that back in. I also liked the wifi which allowed me to check where my flight was in the air for free. Overall, I will say united is much improved from where it was - though I'd appreciate some free entertainment."
Cons: "Boarding was a little bit of a mess with our flight. We had a LOT of people on standby that were standing in the boarding lines because no one was communicating to them where they should be and where to go. This is something that should be worked on by them."

Cons: "I did not like having to check my carry on after all. I was told the overheads were full so I could get it in Baggage after the trip. For health reasons I did not want the trip to baggage and I did not want to risk my bag being lost. I drive 3 hrs o the airport and I did not want to drive back or wait 3 days for a lost bag to be sent to me as I have before. The person at the gate was rude when I said you won't lose my luggage will you? he said Probably. I said really, and he said well you did ask."

Pros: "I was surprised on how clean the plane was, considering it was an express. The attendance were pleasant as well."

Cons: "First, when I got to the booth AFTER checking in, they told me that there isn't any more seats on the flight. The attendant proceeded to tell me "just go to JFK and see what happens" obviously I was furious. United will be lucky if I ever fly on them again"

Cons: "I didn't like the pulling off or the landing or the rocking while flying."

Cons: "United has failed me once again. Delayed flights, no information, the crew didn't know a thing..didn't leave out until 2am and was suppose to leave ar 855"

Cons: "Confirmation number N89G3L. Literally just look at what I had to go through to get from Denver to Liberia and back. In total; 3 cancellations, 9 delays and had to leave the plane after being boarded 3 times in a row at Houston. Unacceptable. I would like to get money back for this trip, as it took off two days of traveling and took us well over 48 hours of travel time within airports. Is there any way I can be put in contact with someone from United Airlines about this? Thank you."
