Delta needs to stop taking peoples money for the sake of putting more bodies in the plane and give people with legroom a chance to breathe keep in mind that people these days are larger than they were 10 to 15 years ago
At the gate I was stopped by security and questioned in Liberia. They were asking me questions about where I had stayed and if I had left my bags alone. They asked me if I had gone through security with my bags since I had only brought a carry on and a backpack. Even though I was compliant security was difficult and unwilling to answer my questions. They marked my passport with a security sticker then told me to go sit down. I was afraid that I had done something in the rinky dink jam packed airport in Liberia that had somehow compromised me but I will probably never know because they refused to answer my questions.
San Francisco worst airport I've ever been in to navigate. Almost missed my connection trying to figure out which gate I needed and how to get to it.

Cons: "We were seated near the back of the airplane. The heater came on midway of the flight, by the time we landed, it was difficult to breathe because it was so hot. The flight attendant all relocated from the back of aircraft to the front aircraft where it was cooler, I assume. I was worried for my son."

Pros: "Flight was late leaving JFK. I paid extra for Comfort Plus and had the most uncomfortable seat ever. My back ached during and after the flight. Absolutely the worst seat ever that I have had flying. While it was a short flight we were supposed to get serviced during the flight, but there was no cabin service unless you were in 1st class. So much for the perks of Comfort Plus as there were none. Not even a glass of water. Wow! When we landed late obviously because we left late we were late and there was no ground crew to get our plane to the gate so we sat for over 1/2 hour on the taxi way waiting for ground crew to be available for us to get to the gate. To add insult of injury when we did get to go to the gate there was no gate available for use so we had to deplane in the rain down the emergency stairs. They said that if you had a problem with the steep stairs that they would make other accommodations. Probably would have been another delay so we all carefully went down the steep slippery stairs. I doubt that the stairs met any OHSA or safety requirements except for emergency issues. They were wet and slippery. This was the absolute worst trip that I have taken with Delta. It will seriously influence my future trip decisions."

Nobody can hear or see anything. Why not use the big LCD displays at the gate??? In the plane they had to restart the computer system as some TVs were not working and it took longer than they said. Toilets were kind of stinky and I could smell them from my seat on row 26. Blankets are way too thin for the blasting AC."

Cons: "Boarding the plane was not easy. We had to show our passports to a man who quizzed us on where we were coming from, where we were going, and asking questions about our luggage. After that we had to go through another security point and scan our boarding passes, but most people could not get through with our boarding passes, so we had to get in another line to show our passes to our agent. It was very stressful since we were running late since the border control line was so long! While it was stressful, I am glad that they were careful regarding the security,"

Great, easy, and quick flight
Barely enough room to move. No meal options offered for purchase for such a long flight. Really hard with small kids
seat in front of me was angled back more then other seats.. was very uncomfortable, tight fit .
Of all the 4 AA flights I had during this trip, 3 had mechanical issues. And all flights had delay problems. Never thought about this from AA in regards to maintaining their planes 😕
Liked everything about this flight. They could have been a little more transparent as to the delay. But the pilot did get us to our connection with plenty of time to spare.
People need more than soda and pretzels on long trips and planes should be properly fueled before allowing people to board.
Cons: "Two loud drunks talked loudly about inappropriate topics the entire flight while not wearing masks. Several people were not wearing masks and the crew never even tried to quiet them down or to tell anyone about the mask. I wondered if the crew agreed with what they were saying that’s why they allowed it. I say that because the one time a steward came to speak to them, it was in the most endearing way. The drunks were commenting that they were told there’d be alcohol and the steward said something like “It’ll be back soon. It’s just that things have been difficult. Have you been watching the news?” in the sweetest way. It felt like a wink."

Cons: "Check in staff was unprepared for volume of people. When asking an American Airlines agent if I could use the priority check in because I had priority seating I was told no. I was informed by a customer going that way that I indeed could. When I got in line for the priority check in, the agent looked over and very loudly said that I was in the wrong check in area. Given the volume at which it was said to me I felt embarrassed, and was upset at the fact that I then had to respond that I indeed was in the correct location."

Told us that there was a sick passenger on the plane and asked if my friend and I would volunteer to take a flight out the next day, that star alliance would put us up in a hotel over night, pay for our evening meal and fly us business class in the morning, that all we had to do was wait at our departure gate And someone would call our name before boarding. We accepted, waited patiently, then we were scolded for having our checked bags with us and told multiple different conflicting stories about how we were to board our flight, that volunteers were no longer needed. I checked multiple times with check-in crew to confirm that the scenario was a go. They confirmed each time, so I canceled my accommodations for the evening in Lima. The change up at the gate left for a big mess to clean up. The gate crew kept arguing hat they never told us to cancel our Lima plans. But that was besides the point. The point was, they told us one thing, there was a major breakdown in communication among check in and gate crew as well as between all crew and me and no crew member took ownership or apologized for the flub up. And I'd like to point out, this was not a language barrier issue, all flight crew spoke English fluently. One crew member said all volunteers were obtained and they no longer needed us, another said that the sick person flying (the initial issue) was no longer flying, so no volunteers were needed. crew never owned that. they suggested that it was our issue that we canceled our plans. We were able to fix, but incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience."
